“I got the spicy chicken sandwich with no pickles, baked Mac and cheese with the banana pudding for dessert. The sandwich with the red sauce 8.8/10 nice healthy pieces of chicken, the Mac and cheese 9.2/10 the top was nice and crispy and the cheese was super creamy. Now the Banana pudding 9.8/10 nice thick pudding not watery at all the wafers were perfect bringing my total score to 27.8/30. the portions are well balanced!! Yeah I plan on returning to try 3 more random items from the menu”

“MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO THE ENTIRE STAFF AT MAGGIANO’s, SPRINGFIELD, VA! There are not enough word in the dictionary to describe my experience in Maggiano’s! From the time I make reservations through walking through the front door of the restaurant, the service, the managers, the chef, the food, to serving the BEST ITALIAN CUISINE SINCE ITALY, and cleanliness in the restrooms. Look, I live in Old Town Alexandria, VA, where there are some of the best Italian restaurants on the East Coast but those restaurants do not compare to my Maggiano’s. I seriously have to drive out of my way, Springfield, to get the Best Italian on the East Coast. It’s worth every second. The cuisine inside this Maggiano’s tastes exactly like my Italian grandparent’s cooked it. I frequent this restaurant at least once or twice a week. Thank you Mo, (manager), Jessie (server), and the rest of the staff at my Maggiano’s! Dana Neese, 12-23-2023.”

“I ordered DoorDash had the Combination of Quabili Palau and Chalau, served with meat sauce and one skewer each of shami, chicken, and lamb kabob, and it was outstanding.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The Quabili Palau was rich and aromatic, the Chalau was delicious, and the meat sauce tied everything together beautifully. The kabobs were all excellent—the shami was tender and well-seasoned, the chicken was juicy, and the lamb was flavorful and perfectly grilled.

The portion size was generous, and the quality of the food was exceptional. The staff was friendly, and the overall experience was great. If you’re looking for authentic Afghan cuisine, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Stopped by Hong Kong Express in Springfield and it really hit the spot. This is classic Chinese takeout comfort food, generous portions, solid flavors, and quick service. The shrimp lo mein was tasty and filling, with tender shrimp and noodles cooked just right. The chicken with glass noodles was flavorful, especially with The hot and sour soup was so good the pork was incredibly soft and tender, making every bite delicious. Definitely one of my favorite dishes of the meal! 🍲😋 The sweet and sour chicken was a standout, crispy pieces with a bright, tangy sauce that was perfectly balanced, not too sweet and not too heavy. Everything tasted fresh, was packaged well for takeout, and portion sizes were great for sharing (or leftovers 😉). This is the kind of place you go to when you want something warm, familiar, and satisfying. If you’re in the Springfield area and craving simple, affordable, and comforting Chinese food, Hong Kong Express is a solid choice. I’ll definitely be back! 🍜✨”

“I’ve been coming here for years and always had a great experience. They serve some of the best Italian dishes in all on Northern VA. The place is really clean and the staff are very friendly. It seems to be a favorite spot for locals with a very family friendly vibe. I really like their fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and the Pollo Bryan. The calamari here is excellent at well. On Monday nights, they have a large 3 topping pizza for only $11.99 which is an amazing deal for a high quality brick oven pizza. They also have prime rib on Wednesday nights which I love to get too. Whenever I meet up with friends at Giradinos, they all say that the food is great too. I need to try some more of their entrees but it’s hard to when I really love getting what I’m used to. Highly recommend this place if you love Italian dishes, brick oven pizza and some good wine.”

“This place looked good so we wanted to give it a try. We got the pollo saltado (chicken with red onion and fries in a tasty sauce with rice) and pesto lomo (beef with spaghetti in a basil pesto). Both were served with garlic bread, and both were delicious. I asked for the chicken to be without tomatoes. Unfortunately it was served with tomatoes, but Geraldine apologized and quickly replaced it with no tomatoes. We also tried the raspberry cola inglesa (yum) and flancocho - a chocolate / vanilla-ish (?) cake that was delicious. The prices seemed a bit high, but the food and menu seemed very authentic. 100% Peruvian according to them... Our bill said "Hot and cold" so maybe it's their partner?”

The employees are always patient with me and my kids because we never know what we want. One day I had gotten off of work and got some mud in the store from my boots. “For starters, the shop is adorable. I love the Foos ball tables, couches, free arcade games, and even a cute little Paw Patrol game for little kiddos. They also have Readers Digest books out to read! The staff is super friendly and helpful and unlike other tea shops, you can get an extra large. But above all that, the tea is sooo good. They have so many great options, including Vietnamese coffee and coffee milk tea and creme brulee cold foam. This is my new favorite tea shop.”

The plantains and green beans stood out on their own even without rhe chicken. At any other restaurant, green beans are just a filler side item, but here they are standout delicious. I met alot of people and made friends there. I live in North Carolina permanently with family I left Washington D.C area in 2017 and I regret not visiting back at Hard times before I left. Truly impressive across the board - friendly, welcoming and FUN. Pete, Kelly and their team are true professionals; they love their work and make sure everyone feels welcome. Pete personally goes from table to table - when he's not joining the band/playing guitar! Kelly is wonderful, kind, warm, and consistently books the BEST bands around. Bartender Bo is indeed "super cool" and funny. Servers Mario and Andrea are helpful, attentive, efficient, and keep everyone very well-fed. “My experience is similar to other reviews. I went to this wonderful Lebanese store this afternoon for the first time. I was met by two extremely friendly non pushing brothers who own the store. I showed the one a packet of a very pleasant black tea which I thought perhaps was being sold there. The store owner photographed the tea bag and said we don’t sell it here but I will look into stocking it. Then he had me a sample cup of their delicious Lebanese coffee. It may have been the best flavor in coffee that I have ever had!”

Unlike the other location on Little River Turnpike in Alexandria, which usually skimps on the toppings. this Springfield spot does it right.
