“I got the spicy chicken sandwich with no pickles, baked Mac and cheese with the banana pudding for dessert. The sandwich with the red sauce 8.8/10 nice healthy pieces of chicken, the Mac and cheese 9.2/10 the top was nice and crispy and the cheese was super creamy. Now the Banana pudding 9.8/10 nice thick pudding not watery at all the wafers were perfect bringing my total score to 27.8/30. the portions are well balanced!! Yeah I plan on returning to try 3 more random items from the menu”

“MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO THE ENTIRE STAFF AT MAGGIANO’s, SPRINGFIELD, VA! There are not enough word in the dictionary to describe my experience in Maggiano’s! From the time I make reservations through walking through the front door of the restaurant, the service, the managers, the chef, the food, to serving the BEST ITALIAN CUISINE SINCE ITALY, and cleanliness in the restrooms. Look, I live in Old Town Alexandria, VA, where there are some of the best Italian restaurants on the East Coast but those restaurants do not compare to my Maggiano’s. I seriously have to drive out of my way, Springfield, to get the Best Italian on the East Coast. It’s worth every second. The cuisine inside this Maggiano’s tastes exactly like my Italian grandparent’s cooked it. I frequent this restaurant at least once or twice a week. Thank you Mo, (manager), Jessie (server), and the rest of the staff at my Maggiano’s! Dana Neese, 12-23-2023.”

“I wanted to try at least 3 times before I gave a rating. Customer service is consistent all the time, no matter what time of day. The combination fried rice tastes delicious. I get the chicken wings also, fried to perfection. I always ask for extra spicy and they usually deliver. My new favorite Chinese restaurant. I haven’t been able to find a good Chinese restaurant since moving from MD to VA, but this place is phenomenal. It’s clean and I love the interior. I do still need to try other options, but this is based off my regular.”

“This has become my go to place for Chinese delivery. Today, not feeling well, I wanted some soup and some spice. I ordered egg drop soup, lunch specials kung pao shrimp and orange chicken, and some wings. I LOVE their wings (as someone who doesn't eat fried wings often). I want to know if the sauce with them is made or bought and want to learn how to make it. So good I almost always add them to my order now. And whether a veggie or a meat egg roll, these are good and not too greasy. I've not had a bad item that I have ordered yet. I don't like onions and requested spicy today, and I received a call from the restaurant to confirm exactly what I wanted. They always follow my online directions well if I request less oil, white rice instead of fried, etc. First time with the soup today and that was good. Savored my veggie egg roll. First time also ordering the kung pao, and I don't usually love the typical veggies served with kung pao, but I was pleasantly surprised that chopped broccoli was the base vegetable, which I LOVE. Delicious! The orange chicken is great too. They are very kind and delivery is speedy. I think the portions are pretty generous, and the lunch specials are a great deal. Highly recommend!”

“Stopped by Hong Kong Express in Springfield and it really hit the spot. This is classic Chinese takeout comfort food, generous portions, solid flavors, and quick service. The shrimp lo mein was tasty and filling, with tender shrimp and noodles cooked just right. The chicken with glass noodles was flavorful, especially with The hot and sour soup was so good the pork was incredibly soft and tender, making every bite delicious. Definitely one of my favorite dishes of the meal! 🍲😋 The sweet and sour chicken was a standout, crispy pieces with a bright, tangy sauce that was perfectly balanced, not too sweet and not too heavy. Everything tasted fresh, was packaged well for takeout, and portion sizes were great for sharing (or leftovers 😉). This is the kind of place you go to when you want something warm, familiar, and satisfying. If you’re in the Springfield area and craving simple, affordable, and comforting Chinese food, Hong Kong Express is a solid choice. I’ll definitely be back! 🍜✨”

“The best Vietnamese food hands down! When I’m in the area I always have to stop by Le Bledo to get a banh mi and a soup. The consistent quality and attention to detail is what makes this place great. I know what to expect so I’m always satisfied with my food from the fresh baked daily bread to the variety of Vietnamese classic soups such as pho, bun bo hue, and bun rieu 😋 10/10 highly recommend and bring a friend!”

The fries were delicious and the wings were really good. Keep in mind the pizza sizes aren’t typical so you may need to order a size up if feeding 3-4 people when you typically may have been fine with a medium.”

“I’ve been coming here for years and always had a great experience. They serve some of the best Italian dishes in all on Northern VA. The place is really clean and the staff are very friendly. It seems to be a favorite spot for locals with a very family friendly vibe. I really like their fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and the Pollo Bryan. The calamari here is excellent at well. On Monday nights, they have a large 3 topping pizza for only $11.99 which is an amazing deal for a high quality brick oven pizza. They also have prime rib on Wednesday nights which I love to get too. Whenever I meet up with friends at Giradinos, they all say that the food is great too. I need to try some more of their entrees but it’s hard to when I really love getting what I’m used to. Highly recommend this place if you love Italian dishes, brick oven pizza and some good wine.”

“This place looked good so we wanted to give it a try. We got the pollo saltado (chicken with red onion and fries in a tasty sauce with rice) and pesto lomo (beef with spaghetti in a basil pesto). Both were served with garlic bread, and both were delicious. I asked for the chicken to be without tomatoes. Unfortunately it was served with tomatoes, but Geraldine apologized and quickly replaced it with no tomatoes. We also tried the raspberry cola inglesa (yum) and flancocho - a chocolate / vanilla-ish (?) cake that was delicious. The prices seemed a bit high, but the food and menu seemed very authentic. 100% Peruvian according to them... Our bill said "Hot and cold" so maybe it's their partner?”

They also have Readers Digest books out to read! The staff is super friendly and helpful and unlike other tea shops, you can get an extra large. But above all that, the tea is sooo good. They have so many great options, including Vietnamese coffee and coffee milk tea and creme brulee cold foam. This is my new favorite tea shop.”

“This is my favorite Subway. I have been to many subways in my lifetime. I've never been impressed to where I thought I'd write a review. I've come here three times so far and each time I was greeted with a smile. The vegetables are always fresh and the store is always clean. The employees are always patient with me and my kids because we never know what we want. One day I had gotten off of work and got some mud in the store from my boots. They were not angry at all, definitely didn't do it on purpose, but they could see how exhausted and hungry I was at the time. Because of how nice they are to me, my family and the atmosphere this will be my forever subway! Keep doing what you're doing. ❤️❤️”

The plantains and green beans stood out on their own even without rhe chicken. At any other restaurant, green beans are just a filler side item, but here they are standout delicious. Possibly the best I have ever eaten. They cleaned tables as soon as customers left. Service was great. We were totally impressed with this place. We looked at other places for dinner, and left here convinced that there is no other restaurant within nearby that would have been more satisfying.”

"Where everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came." Just add terrific live music, great acoustics, and the best dance floor around! Truly impressive across the board - friendly, welcoming and FUN. Pete, Kelly and their team are true professionals; they love their work and make sure everyone feels welcome. Pete personally goes from table to table - when he's not joining the band/playing guitar! Kelly is wonderful, kind, warm, and consistently books the BEST bands around. Bartender Bo is indeed "super cool" and funny. Servers Mario and Andrea are helpful, attentive, efficient, and keep everyone very well-fed. Chef Pete (different one) regularly impresses with tasty appetizers, entrees, salads (Greek is a fave), desserts, and more. More than worth a visit - keep going back!
