“Really a caribean gem in Stafford. Food was amazing and service was smooth definitively I will come back . I ordered Camarones al Ajillo and my wife ordered Bandeja Paisa portions., presentation and flavor were outstanding. Great job. Would have liked to take some pictures but I will next time“

“I met a gentleman named Gideon today, he was very kind and welcoming for sure. I shared a nice sized plate with another person until we were both satisfied. I even had a little bit for later too. Go see my friend Gideon he will make you feel at home.“

“What a pleasant surprise!!! I had to go over to Quantico & my wife said grab something on the way home. So I chose The Family Eatery, only because I parked beside the restaurant. I ordered Curry Chicken & Ox Tail. Mmmm, I will have to say this place is my new favorite Carribean restaurant in Prince William Co.. The staff was SUPER friendly & most of all the food was plentiful & DELICIOUS. Unfortunately it's off the beaten path, but do recommend.“

“Thankfully, I did not read the reviews before eating at Pimenta. It has a very homey feel. The waitress and the person cooking the food were very welcoming. There was no one there so I was told to sit wherever I like. While I waited for my friend to arrive the waitress brought me drink samples of the sorrel and pineapple ginger drinks. I had never had sorrel before even though I have been to other Jamaican restaurants before. I ordered the brown stew chicken, rice and peas and cabbage. It was all freshly-prepared and delicious. I had to stop myself from eating it all at the restaurant. I have been thinking about it since I was there last week. I think my friend had the jerk shrimp and same sides as me. She loved her dish. We were too full for dessert but will order either an appetizer or a dessert to share when we return in June. Thought the music was a tad loud I appreciated the variety and it contributed to the warm atmosphere. The bathroom was clean. Some things to know before you go: 1) A 20% gratuity is already added to the bill; 2) If you're looking for fancy, this is more of a down-home neighborhood spot; 3) Each table has a QR code to scan the latest menu, though there is a paper menu available. I am not sure why there are so many low reviews but my experience was quite different. When you go in, take a deep breath and go with the flow.“

“Trelawny was the star of the show during resident appreciation night at the Instrata Pentagon City, VA with their Food Truck. Partner had the Curry Chicken, and I had the Jerk Chicken. Both had red beans/rice and fried plantains. Flavorful, Filling and Fresh. Perfectly cooked all the way around. See you in Fredericksburg next time.“
