“My family took me for Mothers Day and the service was top notch! Our server was Ed, but the entire waitstaff took care of us, from keeping our drinks full, bringing our food, clearing our dishes and even packaging up our leftovers. We loved the teamwork and will be back. This was our third time dining in the last two years. Thank you!“
“Curio has been such a wonderful addition to the Fredericksburg scene! They offer a fantastic selection of wines that rotate on a regular basis, and their rotations -- including their wine and food pairings -- are done in such a thoughtful and fun way: featuring organic wines during the month of April (happy Earth Day!), wines and a charcuterie board locally sourced from Virginia during VA Wine Month, or a wine pairing with Girl Scout cookies -- just to name a few.The entire Curio team is incredibly friendly, and they are more than happy to show you how to use the wine machines, highlight new wines being offered, or suggest wines to try. You are always greeted with a smile when you walk in.In addition to wine, Curio does also offer food from snack plates to charcuterie boards to flatbreads. All are delicious, and can be just what you need depending on how hungry you are!If you haven't been to Curio yet, drop what you are doing and head there right now -- pour yourself a glass (or a tasting) of wine, and enjoy!“

“This place I just can't... I mean, this was the absolutely BEST food experience I have had to date!! I booked reservations for my boyfriend's birthday because we enjoy food and wine pairings and I had found this place on the internet and thought it was right up his ally. The ambiance is clean and modern. The food is off the chart. And the service was okay... with the most cordial person being the chef who brought one of our meals out and chatted with us a bit. I would normally enter in to a long drawn out review here, but I am reading others' and they say it best. I will say that the Salmon and Ginger was actually one of the best morsels of food I have ever put in my mouth! And I despise Salmon. LOL“

“Thankfully, I did not read the reviews before eating at Pimenta. It has a very homey feel. The waitress and the person cooking the food were very welcoming. There was no one there so I was told to sit wherever I like. While I waited for my friend to arrive the waitress brought me drink samples of the sorrel and pineapple ginger drinks. I had never had sorrel before even though I have been to other Jamaican restaurants before. I ordered the brown stew chicken, rice and peas and cabbage. It was all freshly-prepared and delicious. I had to stop myself from eating it all at the restaurant. I have been thinking about it since I was there last week. I think my friend had the jerk shrimp and same sides as me. She loved her dish. We were too full for dessert but will order either an appetizer or a dessert to share when we return in June. Thought the music was a tad loud I appreciated the variety and it contributed to the warm atmosphere. The bathroom was clean. Some things to know before you go: 1) A 20% gratuity is already added to the bill; 2) If you're looking for fancy, this is more of a down-home neighborhood spot; 3) Each table has a QR code to scan the latest menu, though there is a paper menu available. I am not sure why there are so many low reviews but my experience was quite different. When you go in, take a deep breath and go with the flow.“

“My son picked Firebirds for his birthday dinner and we were seated at our reservation time and our service was excellent and the food was delicious. We did not have any problems and they even brought him a little ice cream dessert with a candle.“

“It's our local Italian joint. Food is good and portions are generous as well as size of the drinks. Only issue is that the courses come too fast, need time in between opening cocktail to appetizer, salad and main course. Slow down, enjoy.“
