“Una esperienza indimenticabile! Sergio è davvero un gran signore, attento ad ogni minima esigenza del cliente, gentile e disponibile con una innata classe italiana. Il cibo è superlativo, di altissima qualità, cucinato in maniera perfetta. La mise en place impeccabile, Tiramisù e cantucci per concludere una magnifica serata . Consigliatissimo“
“After having been here several times the food is quite good. The lasagna in particular is a personal favorite. The ambiance is pleasant although crowded at times. They have an excellent wine selection. One recommendation- if you order takeout in particular -pizzas. Check them before you leave. The pizza I ordered last night had the four ingredients put in four separate corners. I don't understand it but can only assume I was given the wrong order or someone in the kitchen was having a bad night!“
“I like that the menu rotates, this keeps things fun and fresh. The venue itself is pretty small, but cozy. The restaurant has a high class atmosphere with big plates, small serving sizes, and artful topping displays. The drinks took a while to come out, but the food arrived quickly, especially given the size of our party. I enjoyed the Cosmo and Wanda cocktail. The thyme syrup is a unique addition. My scallops and halibut were both cooked perfectly! They did a better job than many seafood restaurants in this respect. The sunchoke basil puree was delicious on the scallops, they were some of the best that I've ever had. But the fish needed to be seasoned, it was too bland. I saw other reviews mentioning delicious bread. We were not offered any, but this would have helped add to the meal. Bread or more substantial sides (instead of the toppings) are definitely needed, since the portions are on the smaller side. The carrot cake was pretty sweet, but a good way to end the meal. I loved the citrus crumble and the frosting. Next time I want to try one of the more exotic menu items.“
“Food is never disappointing at Cap Grill. It's a good place for a business lunch. Not sure I would take my wife there for a "fine dining " experience. It's priced that way, but it feels very chain restaurant, which it is.“
“Great overall experience! Sean made our experience even better by serving perfect drinks and laughter. Food was amazing and we will be back. Thanks Sean for staying on top of our orders and taking the time to make sure we enjoyed our time there.“
“The restaurant is elegant, I loved the comfortable atmosphere, the food is very delicious, the treatment is good, and the service is excellent. I will return to it again ?❤️?Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian dishes you can choose fromKid-friendliness: I had children with me, so it was familyWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs are accessible“
“Settle Down Easy in Oakton, VA is not only a great place for food and drink but they believe in giving back to our community. The GC Marshall Baseball team was able to have a successful fundraiser because of their incredible generosity, excellent service in addition to tasty food and brew. They didn’t even mind when the team provided a little of their own music! We will definite be back to relax and enjoy some MARCH MADNESS and baseball. Thank you Settle Down Easy of Oakton.“
“We’ve been wanting to check out some more of the restaurants in Old Town Fairfax. The Wine House did not disappoint! I had the pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and green beans. The tenderloin was wrapped in an olive tapenade and prosciutto. It was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious! For dessert we had the Dark Chocolate Terrine with espresso cream and toasted hazelnuts. It was decadent and wonderful. Of course the wine selection was great. Looking forward to going back again.“
“Idlywood is a favorite spot for dinner. The service is excellent, with a good selection of wines and an atmosphere that permits conversation at normal speaking levels. We tried a couple of new dishes as well as a favorite appetizer (shrimp ajo) and salmon Caesar. We haven't been disappointed in any of the salmon selections. The branzino is also a favorite. The chicken parmesan, a new item , was especially good. Highly recommended.“
“We really enjoyed our meal. The wines are delicious and such a huge variety of regions represented. The service is always friendly and helpful. Glyn was our server and she was pleasant and offered some great suggestions for wines. We had Ian come by our table and we were so surprised he remembered us from other visits. We shared the house salad, the tri tip, and the spicy sausage pizza. Everything was delicious! The manager also stopped by our table to see if we needed anything and introduced herself. It made for a warm, let's make this a regular hangout type of spot. We will definitely be back. On other visits we have tried zucchini chips, the pastas, and the charcuterie. You can't go wrong!“
“Been quite a bit for lunch and dinners and will go back. Tapas piled high and I have not found a dish I do not like. My favorite is to get the espresso choc cake to go (and after a few glasses of wine) and go to the park right across the street.“
“Really delicious, cat-themed restaurant with the same vibe as its counterpart, Lost Dog Cafe. My burger was juicy and flavorful and the cocktails were spectacular — pricey — but super fresh and creative.Vegetarian options: All burgers come with a vegetarian option and most of the other sandwiches are riffs on a grilled cheese.Parking: There is a small parking lot out front, but the spaces are a bit tight.“
“I like this place. The food is good, with vegan and gluten-free options!(I have had *better* Thai food. All of Finn Thai's curry has fish sauce in it and can not be made vegan=no 5 star rating.)(Now that I think of it.... when I say I have had better Thai food, maybe it's because I'm comparing it to curry dishes I have had elsewhere, when here I was unable to have curry. Maybe I just like curry better? Lol. I'm just trying to be completely honest!)The food always comes out super fast!! Like, always surprisingly fast!! On Valentine's Day, for example, we went before the dinner rush (there was only one other table seated in the restaurant when we arrived), and without buying alcohol we were in and out in under 45 minutes! (I mention not having alcohol because if we were also taking time to enjoy drinks, it probably would have taken longer)Takeaway: In my experience, great for a quick *real* meal. Early dinner times always seem like a great time to go/not busy. Will be back. This is the closest restaurant to where I currently live with vegan/gluten-free options.Vegetarian options: Definitely ask!! A lot of dishes don't necessarily have tofu listed as a protein option, but in my experience, they are happy to use tofu instead of meat.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free and vegan options! All of the curry has fish sauce in it, which sucks as that is my favorite Thai dish. I don't remember everything being labeled well on the menu, but definitely ask! The servers are always knowledgeable, in my experience, and can help guide you to something appropriate for you!I have not been "glutened" here!Parking: The parking lot directly in front of the restaurant is small, but every time I visited, there were plenty of spots. The restaurant is in the back of a large shopping/business area, so there is plenty of free parking around, but if it is busy, you may have to park a bit farther.Wheelchair accessibility: There are steps up to the restaurant. Like... more than just a few steps.“
“Food was excellent as always. Our server was very slow even when we were finished and the restaurant was pretty empty it took forever to bring our bill, pick up the credit cards, and return with the receipts for signature. Our server may have had tables in the bar but did not appear to be serving anyone else in the main dining area“
“Service was outstanding. I went for a birthday dinner and they were so accommodating and friendly. Prices were what you expect for a steakhouse. Very elegant and quiet atmosphere, ideal for an upscale date night. The entrance is a little tucked away but they also offer valet parking, so pulling up to the front is most convenient.“
“Food tasted great. Service was slow for breakfast. Seats were close to other tables and hard to talk over other tables. They offer dairy free, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian options.Vegetarian options: Lots of optionsDietary restrictions: Dairy free, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian optionsParking: Valet and paid self parking availableKid-friendliness: Lots of kid options“
“This is really a Mediterranean place, with typical options. They even asked if I wanted ice in the water, nice touch! I had a wrap with lamb. The lamb was hit or miss, some chunks tender and some quite chewed. My wife's falafel wrap was wonderful. The coffee and water were great.“
“This store is a breath of fresh air, a lovely respite from a world flooded with cheap, artificial, one-time-use products. Trade Roots is curated with thoughtful gifts, clothes, home decor, jewelry, and knick knacks. I walked in recently and immediately saw the perfect gifts for some friends. Everything here is so beautiful and unique. It's not one of those boutiques where everything is just resold from Amazon with a green washed label. The Trade Roots website explains why the fair trade, sustainable mission is important to the store. The food and drinks are delicious here, too! There is some seating inside, as well as tables outside that face the main drag in Westover. Come for a chai and some housewares, leave feeling happy.“
“My family loved the sandwiches at the Manassas location and we were so glad to find this one closer to us! Whenever we want a solid sub, we come here and we're never disappointed. Our favorite is the Spicy Italian and the Italian Stallion. The portions are generous and the bread is always so good.“
“We had our second annual gathering for high tea here. Lovely atmosphere and wonderful staff! Thank you!Dietary restrictions: I'm lactose intolerant and I ate everything!! Very considerate of dietary restrictions. It was all delicious!Wheelchair accessibility: Valet parked our accessible van. One of our guest uses a power wheelchair and she had a very delightful time. Staff was wonderful. High marks all around!“
“This is the pricier Thai place in the area. I would just get takeout next time due to strong smell from neighboring nail salon. Staff was friendly but one of Thier phones behind the counter from where we were sitting was ringing for 30 minutes which was distracting to my table.“
“My partner and I loved our experience here. The staff were very welcoming and the food was wonderful! The pasta isn’t from scratch but was still great with options for mainstream and traditional Italian dishes. Our waitress Sarah was so kind and because it was our first time there she offered a champagne toast on the house.Pros: I loved the variety of protein options that could be added to dishes. The dinner overall was a little more expensive than we usually have for a casual night out but honestly the atmosphere and food was so worth it. We’re easy going people and just like to have a good return on investment wherever we dine. We definitely felt like we got that here. We’ll be back!Cons: I love an Alfredo dish or cacio e Pepe but there weren’t any offered.Recommendation: reservation for weekends or Friday nights.“
“Very good place overall, but something that has been bothering me recently is the filter/house coffee. It's incredibly watered down. The coffee looks like tinted water and hardly has any flavor. This may be because I'm getting my coffee around noon (I've been there in the mornings and it tends to be thicker plus I appreciate the bottomless mug) but still, I'd expect a solid house coffee before 2 or 3 and not something that tastes like the grounds have been filtered 2-3x. So please guys, load that filter up even a bit after the morning joe rush. They tend to have forty-six (i think by Counter Culture Coffee) and a featured single-origin, both of which, when there's more than a 1 to 50ish coffee to water ratio, are very good.As for the food, the bakery items are delicious and varied. I like the smoked smoked salmon and egg breakfast sandwich. Just be prepared for the hardly-cooked egg to explode in your face, so either press down on it first and it'll saturate your sandwich (if that's your thing) or try to get them to at least cook it medium. I asked twice and they did so once. I didn't mind that much, though, and the bun was worth it. Also I'd probably suggest having the chocolate croissant's filling more spread out rather than two slightly narrow and hard lines that feels kind of shrinkwrapped-style.Not a super diverse crowd but that comes with the territory--similar to the demographics of the Falls Church City in which it resides, maybe a little more (btw this is not to be confused with the broader "Falls Church" address within Fairfax County which is significantly more diverse). To compare with nearby Rare Bird Coffee Roasters, this is more establishment (NoVa style) meets new--and very cool nooks and crannies with a rustic vibe, complete with three charming outdoor spaces on three levels. Meanwhile, Rare Bird is more minimalist, with a yuppie (generally more diverse) crowd lined up quietly tapping away on their laptops, super nice hipster staff, plus some neat plants and paintings. Northside Social is, as the name suggests, more in twos or small business meetings. Northside is more of a restaurant whereas rare bird is more of a pure coffee shop, though the bakery items are delicious and the morning bread is healthy and filling. Now this has become more of a dual review, but since you may be looking into both, hopefully that's a little helpful. ☕Wheelchair accessibility: has easy to access ramp with gentle slope“
“Çilingir Sofrasi @ewcafecomA traditional Turkish spread for $70 for 2-3 people. This was my first time having this meal and I'm obsessed. The mezze of dips like hummus, baba ghanoush, coban salata...more are paired perfectly with warm bread and is my favourite. Lamb chops, kasap kofte, adana kebab & chicken kabob served hot offer a bit of everything protein wise. Overall, this is one of those dinners that speak to me. It's a little bit of everything but enough to be full after and goes so well with a glass of wine. I'll 100% be back as this is such a good deal to me with plenty of parking up front and the sweetest staff.- ig @ SpicyAivy“
“From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by an ambiance that is nothing short of gorgeous. The rustic yet elegant decor sets the stage for a memorable outing, whether you're there for a tasting or a meal. The wine tastings at Cooper's Hawk are not only enjoyable but also educational. The knowledgeable staff guide you through a selection of wines, each sip a journey through different varietals and flavors. After indulging in tastings, we settled down for a meal, accompanied by more wine, of course. The Spiced Winter Wine stood out among the offerings, warming both body and soul with its delightful blend of spices. As for the food, it was a culinary delight from start to finish. I opted for the Blackened Ahi Tuna, and it was a true masterpiece. The tuna was perfectly cooked, with a flavorful blackened crust that gave way to tender, succulent flesh. Each bite was a symphony of taste and texture, leaving me craving more.Overall, Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant exceeded all expectations. With its stunning ambiance, enjoyable tastings, delectable food, and outstanding wine selection, it's a destination worth returning to time and time again.“
“Why don't we see asian dining experiences as "elevated"? Ingle Korean Steakhouse proves that it can be. We had the prix fixe and every dish was well executed with quality ingredients. The meats melt in your mouth. Restaurant interior design was pleasant and comfortable. The service is the best I've experienced in an Asian restaurant in North America - our servers were knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly.I would highly recommend this place when hosting or for special occasions.“
