“These guys came to the St. John the Apostle Parish Picnic today and were quite pleasant folks. They had a very positive demeanor and served food that was absolutely incredible. The burrito that I ate was absolutely delicious and garnered the admiration of multiple different people. 10/10, I would eat here again. I actually almost got a burrito to go but was sad to see that they had already left for the day.“
“Beignets in every way! Creative menu, friendly staff, and ofcourse - AMAZING beignets! Soft, fluffy, pillowy goodness... ? The dipping sauces are just perfect, and you've got to try the Marshmallow Mountain cold brew and the Grilled Peach Iced Tea (seasonal menu item I think...)My favorite on the menu would probably be the Gochujang Pork Shoulder over creamy polenta grits (when it was on the menu) and the Warm Banana Beignet Pudding!!! The Smoked Beef Tri-tip Sandwich is also a great option if you're feeling more sandwichy. So many yummy items on the menu that keep me going back. Keep an eye out on new menu items they seem to roll out every season (I think?). A good place to check is their website! Or come in store and ask if they're working on anything special for the upcoming season. Sometimes I get lucky and get hints! ?“
“We catered in Casa de Avila for a birthday party and it was such a hit! I knew their food was great after having it at their food truck, but catering in food can sometimes be a different experience. Thankfully, the catered food was just as good because they put care and quality into the prep and delivery! I can appreciate that it’s difficult to prep a larger size of food and deliver it fresh and in a way that upholds the quality of the food. They have everything down to a science. The employee who delivered everything was on time, professional, and careful! Their communication with scheduling and planning was outstanding which is very important to me. I highly recommend Casa de Avila for authentic delicious Mexican food! Best tacos in the area! ❤️“
“Love this place! Definitely my favorite falafel around, and I’ve never had anything I didn’t like. The chaat fries are also amazing and they have baklava. Even the drinks are good, the mint lemonade is my favorite. You can’t go wrong here and the owner is really nice and hospitable. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Falafel wrap and falafel platter are both vegetarian, along with multiple veggie sides.“
“Delicious and full of wonderful Afghan spices, the food is tasty without excess oil. The spinach, chickpeas and falafel are my favorites. I put extra portions in my freezer for those days when I don't have time to cook. I also bought kofta, chicken, and baklava for my husband who was delighted. Visit them at the Mosaic Farmers Market on Sundays, or at the Reston F M on Wednesday afternoon. You are likely to find something to enjoy.“
“I visited the Soul Rebel food truck while in the D.C area this past summer. The Jerky-Q wings were a hit with my family. So much so I recently ordered the sauce. Shipping was quick and I put the sauce to use right away. The family loved it. I also ordered the Dat Mo’ Fiya Jerk Marinade and it went well on my grilled chicken. I’m a fan of Soul Rebel and next time I’m in Virginia, I hope to visit the food truck or upcoming physical location.“
“Great people. Happened upon a man and his family selling barbecue and sides on a beautiful summer day. I really like the flavor of the smoked meat and the flavor of the barbecue sauce. I didn't like the pulled pork as much as I liked the ribs. Both were better with the barbecue sauce. Mac and cheese was both delicious and cheesy. The collards were flavorful but my serving was not tender. I would definitely visit again.“
“Ford's has been a default go to restaurant when it's a "I don't feel like cooking tonight" night. Ford's was therefore a no-brainer when we hosted an engagement party for our daughter. We knew the food would be delicious and we were very pleased with the catering manager“
