I walked up to the counter, I was not acknowledged. I went to the bathroom, decided to try again. I ordered the curry goat, its tooooo salty, and the cabbage is plain… no carrots, no peppers. The containers should be wrapped in cling wrap because curry and juice is everywhere. And small portions. ?

The Jamaican fried chicken was the most tender chicken I have ever had in my life! First time trying the chicken. Will drive from Hampton to Suffolk to get thst chicken again. The Carrot cake was delicious. Devoured the slice in my car while waiting for fresh fried chicken. My sides were delicious also. VERY HAPPY with my experience.

I had high expectations for this place in regard to flavor, quality and quantity. I ordered curry chicken with white rice and a side of plantains. The portion I felt could have been more. It smelled good, had great color to the curry, the taste though was mute. I wanted more curry spices. The plantains were cooked/fried to a great color. It was sweet but some parts were hard. As for chicken, I received mostly bone disgused as chicken. I spent majority of time picking out big and tiny bones from my mouth as I was chewing. I wished I'd received actually meaty portions like a breast or drumstick. It felt like I got scraps of meat from a leftover meal. The rice was cooked perfectly but was also drenched in oil. The bottom of the container was coated in a thick layer of grease/oil. It was not appetizing. I also bought Jamaican rum cake. I was highly disappointed as I tasted like a carrot cake. I love carrot cake but not disguised as a rum cake with a smudge of rum.Other than that, my meal was mediocre and not satisfying. I've been to other Jamaican restaurants where the food quality was on point. It could just be the cook/chef at this location where the food was okay.this won't deter me away from dining at other Jamaican restaurants ?

I've eaten here more than once and can say the food is not worth it. Pay over $18 for oxtails and only get three. They give more rice them meat also the Mac and Cheese is not good. The worst golden crust is better than this place.

A very, very tasty place to eat. Definitely get the curry goat, the flavor profile is so good.Dietary restrictions: They were accommodating to a member of my party who had shellfish allergies.

The food was very good and the customer service is great. I do prefer baked Mac & Cheese... therefore; I will choose a different side next time.

As an authentic Jamaican, this is the absolute worst Jamaican food I’ve had in my life. The Mac and cheese are disgusting, and the cabbage is awful & lacks flavor! The rice and peas are BLAND! & the oxtail isn’t good! I’ve tried their Rasta pasta, beef patties, and curry chicken! Don’t waste your time or money at this place! They should be out of business! & it’s unfortunate because they are friendly people, the food is just disgusting & that’s the purpose of the restaurant, to sell food authentic Jamaican food! What a disappointment. & FOR THE PRICE, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN THERE IS WORTH IT!!!!!!!

Ordered Large oxtail dinner and got 2 huge oxtail bones with very little meat and plenty of gravy hiding it. $20+, that wasn't a good look.

The curry with rice and peas is really good. My son liked the j*** chicken and coco bread.Friendly staff and good service.

I ordered the j*** chicken with cabbage and Mac n cheese. I also ordered cornbread. Paid over 25 bucks and got dry old chicken that was just spicy. Some if it was burnt so bad it was the texture of jerky. It had no flavor besides really spicy chicken on rice. The cabbage was good. The Mac n cheese would have been good but they have some spice in it that just throws it off (it wasn't what I'm used to) Everything was cooked well besides the old, dry, flavorless chicken and rice. They gave me a yeast roll instead of cornbread. The roll was good lol. I would not suggest this place, if you do go there, don't get the j*** chicken.
