The Jamaican fried chicken was the most tender chicken I have ever had in my life! First time trying the chicken. Will drive from Hampton to Suffolk to get thst chicken again. The Carrot cake was delicious. Devoured the slice in my car while waiting for fresh fried chicken. My sides were delicious also. VERY HAPPY with my experience.
I had high expectations for this place in regard to flavor, quality and quantity. I ordered curry chicken with white rice and a side of plantains. The portion I felt could have been more. It smelled good, had great color to the curry, the taste though was mute. I wanted more curry spices. The plantains were cooked/fried to a great color. It was sweet but some parts were hard. I went there for the first time the other day and ordered to oxtail with rice and peas and steamed cabbage. It was the best meal I had in a longtime!! I’m going back again. The service was excellent and very friendlyI recommend this place to everyone!!
