I couldn’t be more pleased with the friendly service Omi gave us, explained all the ingredients and had the best smile serving our meal. “So, I stumbled upon Maman Joon Kitchen at Tyson's and l can say its a solid chicken spot Vegetarian Friendly: Sadly this spot is not a great place as a lot of the menu is meat heavy. They do have options but you should really eat here as there main attraction is meat Decor: The ambiance is inviting and chill. It's the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. And the bonus is they have outside heaters that keep you warm if you want to sit outside. Food Highlights: The Chicken Kabob stole the show for me as it was very well marinated and they included bread and yogurt which was great! Portion Size: Portion sizes are pretty good here so you definitely won't leave hungry, and you might even have some leftovers to enjoy later. But I wish they included 1-2 pieces of chicken as there was a lot more rice to chicken. Price: Considering the quality and quantity of the food, I'd say the prices are reasonable especially for Tyson Area. And just wanted to say there service was really good and got the chance to met the owner Peter Tabibian who was very nice and welcoming! Would I go Back: So even though it's good if I am in the mood for Chicken and Rice I would rather go to DCG as it has more toppings. But for a kabob place it was pretty good!“

The chicken in the shawarma bowl was delicious due to the marination and being submerged in sauce. It comes with two sides, and the shawarma sauce was good as well. Most tables were reserved for an event that afternoon, but when we told her we could be out before then, she seated us and brought out the menus. We ordered using the QR code on the menus, as that was the only option. I will say, that was the only thing I didn't like. I have having to use my phone for everything and wished I could've ordered in person and paid in person. And then the tip part was unclear and it chose the tip for us (18%). “This is a franchise with a limited menu. Cannot order any extra sides. Rice is bland and lacks sufficient spices. Take out is put in an aluminum tray with the fresh salad on top. After you get home the salad is soggy and unfit to eat. Minor changes will improve the experience.“

It was seamless working with Ghassan from start to finish and I am so thankful for him! Communication was easy as he was always very responsive. “How did I forget to review Plaka?? Plaka is consistently amazing. Fast, delicious and friendly service every single time. I love introducing people to Plaka. The food is always fresh and tasty. Some of my favorite things are the Plaka Gyro Wrap which has Authentic Greek-style pork gyro with tomatoes, onions, tzatziki and fries inside. It's filling but you won't be in a food coma afterwards. I also love getting the plaka bowls where you can choose what you want in them. Kind of like Cava but way better.“

Only negative thing about Moby Dick House of Kabob is they don't have chickpeas and spinach like most kabob restaurants do, which is strange because they are all famous side dishes. The buffet began promptly at sundaown and there were just so many dishes to try! Highlighting the meal was the whole roasted lamb, and the Koshari. Delicious! The lamb was a tender slow-roasted perfection, where even the lamb belly was a melty collagen experience. Like a good pot-roast, but better and with lamb. The Koshari was something I had never tried and was a flavorful spicy mix of rice, macaroni eggplant and spices. I can imagine it to be a good comfort food. My wife raved about the Roasted Eggplant with Walnut and enjoyed the chicken soup,and fried tilapia. The Chocolate Baklava and Om Ali were a sweet ending to the meal. I like the rice pudding too! The Iftar Buffet is a good showcase try out many of their fine dishes. One of my co-workers told me he had an event catered from here as well.
