“Okay. Dating myself. L'Auberge Chez Francois has been open for 70 yours. We've been going for 35. Never had a bad meal here. Or a mediocre one. This is an old school restaurant in all the best ways. You might think it's expensive. And it is. But it's the best value restaurant I've ever been to. The entree price gets you bread, appetizer, amuse bouche, entree and dessert. I had the Tuna Tartare, House Salad and Beef Wellington. My wife got the warm Asparagus, House Salad, and Rack of Lamb. All expertly prepared. The ambiance is amazing. French Cottage in the countryside of Great Falls. The service is impeccable. You don't get much better. And get the soufflé for dessert. You have to order it when you order your meal. Well worth it. I will keep coming here until I die. It's that good.“
“The interior of this place is really cute. A lot of french related memorabilia. They also hang chef's certificate from France which shows their confidence in the food. Which they should be. We ordered Croque Madame and Monsieur, and their Ratatouille and they were amazing. The bread was soft and savory, and the cheese they used on Croque was really good.“
“My husband and I went to cafe tatti on our date night. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service quite a lot. We had the Coq Au Vin and the Chicken Francaise and ended the meal with a chocolate mousse. The mousse was our favorite part of the meal. I also enjoyed a nice glass of Pinot Noir from their wine list. What stood out to us was definitely the service. Thanks for a great night.“
“We go to 2941 for many of our special celebrations and we are never disappointed. The food is excellent, the service is impeccable, and the sommeliers are incredible (really, ask them anything about any of the wines). We both had the chef's tasting with the wine pairing and were perfectly satiated at the end. The portions are on-point. We told our waiter the occasion we were celebrating and anyone who visited our table expressed congratulations and brought an extra special complimentary dessert at the end. We had a 7:00 reservation and arrived a bit early so we were able to watch the ducks come back to the pond as the gloaming fell and it was kinda magical. We'll definitely be back.“
“Our favorite French restaurant in NOVA and an absolute gem. Service and cuisine are truly classic in a real bistro setting. They get everything right and I'm happy to continue to frequent their establishment. Bravo to owners and staff.“
“This is a lovely place for lunch or dinner, especially on a nice day when you can sit out on the plaza overlooking the lake. Very good quiches, salads, desserts and other entrees. Reasonable prices. I definitely recommend, particularly as a luncheon/brunch get together with friends.“
“Lovely experience! Everything was fresh and delicious, service was friendly and efficient, and the ambiance very pleasant. The croque monsieur was excellent with delicious ham and terrific crusty baguette. All of the pastries were fresh and perfect; we had the spinach and feta croissant, the pear tart, and the apple strudel. Happy to pay for good food and service, quality costs. Will return!“
“From the moment I stepped through the doors, the ambiance exuded a perfect blend of classic elegance and contemporary flair. The sunlit interior, adorned with tasteful decor, created a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a memorable dining experience. Thank you!!!“
“The ambiance of the restaurant is romantic, with flower bouquets and beautiful paintings. For the appetizers that we ordered, the portions were very small but the food was good. The duck confit was sweet, the ravioli sauce was great, the french onion soup was standard, and the crab cake sauce was delicious but very small. Free desert came with small samples of chocolate mouse and raspberry cake.“
