“Really elevated & creative menu. Service is on point, bar staff is friendly knowledgeable, atmosphere will accommodate a special occasion but not at all fussy. Great place, will be back soon.”
“We enjoyed brunch here for our anniversary. I have several food allergies and I was well accommodated. The food was wonderful and the service friendly. We will be back”
“Exceptional Service. Culinary Excellence. Our dining experience at JOON was extraordinary, made even better by the exceptional service from our server, Yacine. His thoughtful recommendations, warm demeanor, and perfectly timed attentiveness made for an unforgettable evening. Even as the restaurant got busier, Yacine maintained his focus on us— a warm and welcoming touch that elevated the entire experience. Thank you! As fans of Persian cuisine and frequent shoppers at Yekta Market in Rockville— having recently tried our hand at making Persian dishes like Fesenjan at home— coupled with all of the culinary accolades— we had high expectations for JOON. It not only met but exceeded them. Mast-o Musir, yogurt dish with Persian dried shallot and rose petal, was exceptional— more elevated and nuanced than any we’ve had. The mushroom Khoresht stew with white truffle was another highlight, offering perfectly balanced flavors something hard to do with white truffles and a satisfying richness, complemented by the perfectly crunchy Tahdig, iconic golden rice crust. The braised lamb shoulder which Yacine suggested was the undeniable highlight of the meal I which each dish was excellent. Tender and flavorful, it was paired beautifully with texture. It’s a signature dish that rivals the best we’ve ever had, bringing to mind the legendary Bo Ssam pork shoulder from David Chang’s Momofuku— bold, unforgettable, and expertly prepared. The Gormeh Sabzi, short rib stew with its delicious sour depth, was excellent but couldn’t quite match the lamb’s showstopping brilliance. Two very minor points. While the food and service are exceptional, the main dining room lighting would benefit from dimming. A water filtration water system could make a big difference as well. JOON has firmly secured its place as a must-visit dining destination for us. We can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu.”
“We've dined at Patsy's American on several occasions and consistently appreciate the quality, service and atmosphere.”
“This Royal Nepal Bistro introduces one to the heavenly cuisine from the 'rooftop of the world'. Having visited Nepal, finding this restaurant was a delightful surprise and so nearby. The dishes are well prepared with care and attention paid to the blend of spices. The menu is truly an artistic creation, as is the presentation of each dish. The dishes will appeal to any palate. Plenty of vegetarian dishes are available and the chai is divine! The tandoori chicken is one of our favorites. Looking for something lighter, the daal (lentil) soup and rice never disappoint. And do give the Taj Mahal beer a try! If you are looking for a relaxing ambiance where you can be transported across the continents to the Himalayas, giving yourself a mini vacation from the hustle and bustle of this metropolitan area, we enthusiastically encourage you to visit this royal bistro. They are open for lunch which is doubly wonderful. Tucked away on a street connecting Church Street and Maple Avenue, the location is peaceful and relaxing. It is always fun watching the little ones who are most welcome at this establishment. And if you are heading to Nepal or just want to learn more about this magical country, come chat with everyone who has lived there.”

“Fantastic food cooked by award winning chef Roberto Donna. Welcoming owner and friendly atmosphere. Our seafood calamarata and shrimp rice risotto were outstanding.”
“The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish I had was favorable and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend The miso sea bass. The bar atmosphere was welcoming and fun. To finish it off Jorge is amazing!”

“Everything is 5/5. Our server was awesome, he even opened the door on our way out, which I have never experienced at a regular restaurant. Felt like a very high-end fine dining experience, with everything cooked to perfection. Dinner menu 80 dollars per person was awesome, I recommend getting shrimp pajeon, corn cheese, octopus salad, cold noodle, and patbingsoo. soft crab soup had more sweet taste so it wasn't as good as I thought, and beef fried rice was mid. Meat was high quality, and the visual when they bring out is STUNNING. Wow bravo this restaurant, they will open one in 14th street in DC and I can't wait to try that experience.”

“Do you want butter chicken rolled up with rice in a burrito shell and flattened and warmed like panini, WITH A SIDE OF BUTTER CHICKEN SAUCE TO DIP IT IN! YES you DO!!!!!!! OMG. I have heard about this place for so long from the other side of the planet on FB. Thinking really? That amazing? From a gas station? Tried this dish first time today. Kicked it so far out of the park, I think I will not be able to eat butter chicken any other way again. With the most huge respect to Chit Chaat! Thank you for creating food joy! Note the photo is after devouring most of it. Looked glorious when opened.”
“This hidden gem needs to be FOUND by everyone! Met one of the owners, Mark, in Pazzo Pomodoro recently who told me about Nozzo Pazzo. I have since fallen in love with their sandwiches the Bugs Bunny and the Green Arrow wraps (vegan) which I return to get regularly. Then found out they also do breakfast! After Mark described how they make the French toast, I couldn’t stop thinking about it! I had it this morning, and believe me it is melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The place is so beautifully set up, and the tunes playing over the speakers were equally awesome! An absolute must try!”
“This place is a great neighborhood bar for craft beers and good vibes. Rosemary the bartender is very nice and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this bar if you are in the area!”

“It took me years to find a good ramen and sushi place, this place is the best! The owner is so sweet and welcoming, can’t find customer service like what she give anymore. My husband and I make it a point to god every month or two, you always get quality. As being spoiled by NY and NJ for several years we’re picky but this is our spot.”
“Must try their mala dry hotpot—it’s incredibly flavorful! I personally love this place, but be prepared for bold flavors as it’s extremely salty and spicy, which can be a bit much afterward. The taste, however, is very authentic. Keep in mind that the setup isn’t the most comfortable for dining in due to the high volume of takeout orders. While the staff will take your order, the service can sometimes be a bit inattentive.”
“I felt like I was in Italy... the best Italian restaurant in Virginia. The best food!”
“Perfect venue. All seats are good because the room is just big enough, not too big. Sound is great.
The Barns at Wolftrap has the feel of a secluded cabin in the woods with a romantic vibe. You can purchase drinks and snacks in the adjoining room and socialize. People are friendly. The place has a homey feel. There is an intermission half way through so you can get more coffee or snacks.
Perfect place for first date or any date, since there is time for chatting, and then listening together. The grounds around the venue are wooded. Highly recommend!!!!! PS- good idea to do a test drive to the venue, before the actual date, to be sure you can find it without a hitch.”

“Standard McDonald's drive-thru experience! They moved through the line quickly and generally the food is hot and fresh when you get it. The only issue with this location is that a lot of times it's hard to get into on Saturdays because of the traffic from the Chick-fil-A and the car wash. If you're able to cut through the line, it is easy because the line is never that long in the actual McDonald's, but the traffic in and out can be a huge headache.”
“Brian R. was very helpful when I called in to ask about my order and he was very nice and helpful and listened to everything I had to say. HE DESERVES A RAISE A.S.A.P. and also thank you to Ryan C. for making my order as well with great quality‼️‼️ 10/10 great WAWA‼️‼️”
“Your standard McDonald's experience. They've got a drive-thru that moves pretty quickly and a dining area that's usually pretty empty. The only problem I have at this location is they can never get my mobile code to work. Which is pretty frustrating when you want to redeem your points for some free food, but for whatever reason just can't.”
“Great sushi, friendly staff, and pretty ambiance. Definitely recommend!”
“Delicious lunch on the outdoor patio. Scotch eggs, pies, pints all exceptional!”
“Fun place to celebrate a birthday! They make you feel special! Great margaritas and food too ❤️”

“Had read some mixed reviews but we gave it a shot and we were greatly impressed! We called ahead for our party of 10 and they had our reservations ready and accommodated us nicely. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Our party ranged from age 14 to 55, some loved Thai and some had never tried it. There was something for everyone to enjoy on the menu. Plus, it was very reasonably priced. We had a large party and it didn't break the bank, as they say. Great food and comradery was had by all! I don't normally write reviews, but again, I was impressed. Definitely recommend!”
“My favorite smoothie shop ever! I’ve been coming here for a couple years now and the customer service and smoothies have been superb every time. This Smoothie King is exceptional and efficient. It’s great for kids, weekdays, weekends, and dates. Great options for different diets too.”
“This is our new special occasion dining spot. Food was amazing and service was great!”

“Great American-style sushi rolls! Their sushi is packed with ingredients and very filling. I wouldn’t call the sushi authentic by any means, but the fish quality is ok and the specialty roll portions are definitely worth their price.
There was no wait on a Sunday evening for my party of 3, and our server was very polite and made sure we were well attended to!
I recommend the Bubba Roll, Yellowtail Deluxe Roll, and Scallop Assassin Roll. I haven’t tried their noodles or rice dishes so I’d be happy to visit again for another quick, casual meal out ?”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Went here with some friends- it was one of their favorite cafes, and I could tell why- we shared our different coffee drinks, and they were all very tasty. The breakfast bagels were really good, they had some spices or herbs with the egg or something that gave it a nice je ne sais quoi. It was kind of sweet but a really unique egg bagel sandwich.
We went on a weekend morning and it was hopping! There was just enough seating to fit everyone in there, but I could see it getting tight if it was any busier.
I love that you can bring your own mug, and the staff was very friendly. Good vibes all around.”
“Found out about Simply Social after a google search trying to find a drive thru coffee spot near me! Love that this is a local small business and my order was even taken by the owner who was incredibly sweet!
I ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte (one size) and a steak and cheese and both were delicious! Food and coffee came out within 5-7 minutes.
Will definitely be coming back for the delicious food and the convenience of not having to unload the kids in and out of the car!”
“Looking for authentic Thai cuisine in Vienna? 🇹🇭🍛 Look no further than Thai Mom! They use fresh ingredients and strike the perfect balance of flavor and spice. If you're craving real Thai food that feels like a home-cooked meal, this is the place to go. Highly recommend! 🌶️✨”
“Amazing Pho!!! The broth was rich and flavorful, and definitely request a side of hot oil since I didn't see a spicy noodle soup option on the menu. The regular size was a perfect portion size in my opinion, but they offer large if you have a big appetite. I tried their Pho Deluxe and the green papaya salad. The salad was okay, a bit too sweet for how I like it and I couldn't taste the dried shrimps at all, not sure if there was any in it... The only thing I wish they'd do is adding some background music, it was pretty empty when I went there and not having music on made the meal a little awkward.”
“Fast & cheap Chinese option in the area! My husband and I have found our new favorite Chinese food restaurant. Service was great (we had to call to confirm ingredients), and our food was finished earlier than anticipated. We ordered the crab rangoons, sweet and sour chicken, mixed Lo mein, and spring rolls. We will be back!”
“The best Indian food place in the entire DMV area. The most flavorful food around. Our favorite dishes are Chicken 65, Chole Bhature, and Butter chicken. Mango Lassi is delicious as well. The inside is decorated very tastefully, and the staff is super friendly.”

“I ordered a Nick-ster with pepper jack cheese, tomato, onion, lettuce, pickles, and social sauce and it tasted amazing! I will definitely be back again. In my opinion the only part of the burger that could be better was the bun, but maybe it's because I ordered for take out. Delicious either way!”
“Is the best Mexican food i ever tried. I used to eat from cava 3 or 2 time a week. I dont like to Cook sometimes so cava the first choice come to my mind and in the same time its healthy and they have multiple things to chose to eat. I recommend the place if u didnt tried it u have something wrong in ur life :D one more thing after u put all your toping end it with Lemon tahini dressing yummy yummy no regretting”
“Taco Bamba was playing some rocking music when we ordered our Tacos on a great fall day. The portions are reasonable and not huge. Flavor instead of large size, with several tasty dressings you choose yourself, after preparation. The quesadillas with carne asada were packed with flavor and quality sear.”
“Drinks were great and the young lady who was working the front was super friendly and helpful. Well had a fairly large group that came in and she was super patient with us. We even dropped one of our drinks and they were kind enough to remake our drink. 5/5 service!”
“I just want to say how amazing Ms. Christine and her entire staff is at this particular location. I drive over an hour plus to have fresh, delicious food. Not only is the food fresh and delicious, the customer service is excellent. It’s all because of Ms. Christine. She makes sure you have an amazing time at her restaurant. She will make reservations for you and be sure food is piping hot and ready for you. Thank you so much for being amazing, Ms. Christine! This is a kid-friendly restaurant, but that doesn’t mean parents allow kids to run around and play when others are there to enjoy the experience as well.
Our fav dishes- crispy beef, crispy chicken, orange chicken, chicken fried rice, crab rangoon, chili chicken.”
“Delicious Food, Divine Wine, Lovely Evening! We shared appetizers, desserts & wine while we visited this wonderful restaurant!”
“The BEST sushi I’ve ever had in this area!!! everything is extremely fresh and DELICIOUS!! Our server Jenny was so so kind and brought us everything so quickly!!! Amazing experience, we are excited to become regulars!!!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I have always had great experiences at Bear Branch Tavern, but today I had Ash and Maria as my server and bartender. They were fantastic. I could not recommend them enough. Every time I go back I am going to try and get Ash as my server. 10/10 experience, 10/10 food. Will definitely be back.”

“To start with Shamshiry in Tysons is still halal except for their steak. I asked them and they reconfirmed. I am sure a lot of you have been to Shamshiry , and their food has not changed since forever and it’s always so flavorful. I also love their newly renovated restaurant, it give such a nice feel to the experience. As always, the restaurant was full as usual and we added our name to the que. The new change is, this time they gave us a buzzer, something that I would love all the Muslim establishments have. It makes wait looks more reasonable. While we waited I saw live grilling from their kitchen which is in the wait area. The kitchen looked clean and the staff seem to look happy and enjoying what they do. After about 20-25 minutes wait our buzzer went off and we were promptly seated. We all love their Kubeida Kabob (Beef skewers) and every individual in the family ordered that. We also got cokes and small pitcher of Doogh. While we waited for our food, complimentary fresh baked breads (Roti) with butter, and spicy chutney was served. My boys love making the bread sandwich, by spreading butter, adding samak and a few drops of olive oil with a hint of spicy chutney and making it to a roll. While we enjoyed the self made rolls our food came out in a timely manner. Kubeidas were freshly made and the flavor was amazing like always. It was moist and juicy. If you like Doogh this is the place to get it. They make fresh Doogh with perfection in house. The wait staff was not readily available as the restaurant was full, but always responded back when asked for help. Shamshiry not only upgraded their restaurant but overall experience. Instead of serving pre-made bread they now bake their own bread. The wait buzzer is a good addition as well as it reduces the crowd near the counter. The water bottles are with the restaurant name engraved. It’s a nice blue bottle and for some reason the water tasted crisper. It might be in my head. The food is always on point and I’ve never had bad food there since 2006. If you haven’t been to Shamshiry lately, give it a shot. Be ready for long wait and not the best service, but the food is gonna make up for it. For all you bathroom lovers, you may not wanna come out of it, nicely upgraded with upgraded no touch faucet and dryer with real towels to wipe hands.”
