“The Starbucks in Vinton Kroger is consistently understaffed. The staff is exceptional however, one person working cannot keep up with the demand. People are walking away after a lengthy wait. One person taking orders AND the making orders is just not enough. There to be two people working almost all the time. If this is supposed to be a cost saving measure it's backfiring on you. You're losing money because you're losing orders. This is why I only give 4 stars instead of 5.“
“Food food friendly service coffee is good mocha frappe good and McDonald's app is good to have on deals food points and rewards get u food I likeParking: Can find a spot to park also with curb side orders as wellKid-friendliness: Welcomes customers including kids and wheelchair accessibilityWheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair parking ramp if needed and tables as well“
“We went through the drive through and ordered some donuts, but they were out of some of our favorites. We got our order and they had given us some extra treats as a consolation for not having some others. I had mentioned that I really enjoyed their coconut donuts and the lady at the window came back with 3 of them and gave them to me.The staff there are always nice and seem happy to be there. One of the ladies was celebrating her birthday and the whole shift was in on it and had party hats on and looked happy.A few years ago, I came through and in conversation lamented that I had hoped to get a specific kind of donut (my coconut favorite again) and the lady working that day made me some. When I talk Dunkin Donuts in Roanoke/Vinton area - I talk about this one because they are the premier location. I drove by several locations to come to this one. They have my highest possible recommendation.“
“My wife and I visited Chris’s custard for the first time today it was very enjoyable even got to meet Chris great guy I also thought it was cool to see other people working there with a disability as well. It was also fast service and very friendly We will be going back there again for sure.“
“Move over Starbucks, I have a new favorite coffee spot. My fiancé and I had a pleasure meeting the owner at Cello coffee house & cafe Saturday evening. Not only was he friendly, welcoming and just a genuinely great man, he served up the best coffee! We tasted a few of his homemade ice cream flavors and they were the better than anything you could get from any container. We even brought home baklava and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. We love supporting these small businesses that pack a punch in our community with such amazing products. If you are ever downtown, make sure to give them a visit! You will NOT be disappointed.“
“Hard to not enjoy the atmosphere here. I come to work when I need some chill time and focus, but they can get really busy too. Their specialty coffees are pretty fun. Would love to see them add something a little spicy to their menu. You're likely to find good food trucks nearby too.Dietary restrictions: They offer non-dairy options which is nice“
“Besides the fact the coffee is probably the best I've ever had, the staff goes above and beyond to be accommodating especially for those who can't leave their dog in a car on a hot day to get a good cup of coffee! I can recommend this place enough!“
“Every Wednesday Sidecar has a Neighborhood Night with a 3 Course Menu Special which they email you ahead of time in order for you to have time to make a reservation if you think you would enjoy the items mentioned. This Wednesday, the appetizer was Seared Sea Scallops, the main entrée was Beeler's Duroc Pork Chop, and for dessert Biscoff Ice-cream. I happen to like these three items so I decided to make a reservation and go try out this restaurant for the first time. I arrived at 5:00pm sharp to my reservation and was greeted by the friendly host with a welcome smile. I was impressed by the warm atmosphere of the place with lots of wood accents and hunter green painted wall lined up with booths on one side and a long bar with many stools on the other side. At front there are a couple of small rooms with a few tables as well. The host took me to one of the booths in the center of the restaurant and the waiter came by to introduce himself and bring a glass of cold water that had a wonderful taste. In water the more tasteless it is makes for the best taste. I told the waiter that I was going to have the Neighborhood Night Menu of the Day and I also ordered a few slices of a Baguette with butter to start with while I waited for the food to be ready. The Seared Sea Scallops appetizer arrived and was outstanding. The waiter came by my booth at the appropriate times to check on me and fill my glass of water with more cold water. The Pork Chop main course was a nice size and very tasty. I was very satisfied with the portion size and with the flavorful cuisine. After feeling full and very satisfied with the food. I asked for the dessert that was truly a sweet complement to complete this wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for when you want to have a nice gourmet dinner, alone or with family and friends.“
“Crumbles cinnamon rolls are simply the best in downtown! They have a good cup of coffee and good biscuits too! And the prices aren't terrible. I've paid more and been less pleased at other breakfast places downtown that I could name. Crumbles staff is ALWAYS friendly, ALWAYS make me feel like they are glad to see me walk in the door, and ALWAYS wish me a great day! It is a pleasure to be a semi regular customer. Best wishes!“
“My favorite place to come in the area. Spacious but cozy, and really great on a rainy day. The Enigma roast that they have today (11/21/2023) is probably my favorite roast I have had from here, and I really love all of them a ton. We recommend RND coffee to all of our friends from in town and out of town.“
