Definitely got the feels of a super glorified Waffle House. Sweet location right on 12th street on the boardwalk. East menu to order from. Food was good as mama made it!

Belvedere Coffee Shop & Diner, with its cozy haven ambiance, stands out as the perfect breakfast spot, offering not just comfort but a stunning ocean view that adds to its charm. The tea selection impresses, featuring everything from classic Earl Grey to exotic herbal infusions, each a soothing companion to the serene seascape. Its sandwiches, masterpieces of culinary art, blend traditional flavors with creative twists, using fresh, quality ingredients that delight with every bite. This diner transcends the ordinary, providing a backdrop where the ocean meets the sky, making each morning meal a picturesque experience. Coupled with warm, inviting service, Belvedere becomes more than a place to eat—it's a destination where moments are savored, framed by the tranquil beauty of the ocean.

This place was very meh. No gluten free bread options. Staff was pretty standoffish!

It’s called a coffee shop, but they only serve drip brew with coffee mate creamer. Menu is very plain. Food was okay, but most of the food was way too salty (and I love salty food).

After finishing up a conference in Virginia Beach, I visited the Belvedere South Diner in the bottom of the Moxy hotel. I was looking forward to grabbing a quick bite to eat but did not expect such great service and quality food from a hotel restaurant. The waiter, Kirsten, promptly took my order and brought my coffee immediately. My hotdog, french fries, and pickle spear came out minutes later and were exactly what I needed before I got on the road. Portions were very large in a traditional diner style. Everything perfectly cooked and seasoned. All the staff were very welcoming and kind. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area and looking for great diner food.

Top Notch customer service from when you walk thru the doors! Kirsten, Maddie, Ian, Brian and Megan all did a great job while I was staying there! Highly recommend the breakfast burrito, but be warned it’s a beast of a burrito! Even if you’re not staying at the Moxy I would go to the Belvedere just to enjoy the food and conversations with the staff. Their kitchen banter is so funny and can tell they truly care about their patrons needs.

This place has been open for the past hour and we walked in and waited for someone to come help us, we even sat ourself down but the staff was in the back talking FOREVER. Couldn't find or make the time to come out and greet their guest. They never came out so we left. Ridiculous!

Kirsten and Maddie have taken care of my friend and me lmore than once now. Great spot. Old diner feel but really comfy booths. Perfect patty melt every time. Friend got big burrito at Maddie's suggestion and it was great and plenty for his appetite. Go here eat well tip well!Parking: It's the oceanfront so free all winter and plenty of street spaces on 12th-16thWheelchair accessibility: Has ramp front AND direct ground floor entrance in rear.

My partner and I did not know what we wanted for breakfast. We knew we wanted a breakfast sandwich. We looked on yelp, and we looked on DoorDash, but nothing came to mind. Then we came across this restaurant. It was the best decision of our vacation. We both ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich for nine dollars. And my partner got a side of fries. I also got the sliders with a side of onion rings. All of this came up to a total of about $35. When the food was cooking, we could just smell how good the cook was putting her love into this food. We knew that we were going to get something better than waffle house and way better than IHOP. Once the waitress came back and said, here's your food and took it up, so we took it up to our room and , I cut the sandwich diagonal, because it was on Texas toast. I took the first bite of the sandwich and it was not soggy. It was not salty. It was the perfect combination of bacon, egg and cheese. I highly recommend getting this sandwich it does come with a side of hashbrowns. I would have recommended to ask them to be fried a little bit longer.

We stayed at the hotel next to this spot and needed to grab breakfast after we checked out. Great food, affordable prices, and great service from Kirsten, who kept our coffee topped off and was super friendly. Would definitely eat here again!

A high temperature of 79F on November 9th, so my friend and I decided to head to the boardwalk for breakfast and a walk. We loved the old Belvedere and were anxious to try the new location. We arrived just before 8 a.m. and the main door to the diner was locked and entry was thru the hotel. We entered the diner and the booths were either occupied or required cleaning from the last customers. We sat at the counter. The waitress showed up without an order pad or pen to take our drink order as well as the couple next to us. She provided us water and I had asked for coffee with cream. She brought it back quickly. We and the couple next to us ordered. There were two cooks. Their pace may have been slower since it is not tourist season but they were attentive to the orders.I ordered the pancake breakfast ($14): 2 pancakes, 2 eggs scrambled, hash browns, 3 sausage links, and white toast.I let my friend try the pancakes and she loved them - perfect, a must order next time for her. No loss of food prep from the old location,The food is tops #1. The staff I'm mixed on. Booths not cleared, not prepared to take orders, no sense of urgency to prepare orders; however, friendly and the breakfast served was delicious. The new location is small, it does have an outdoor seating area for the summer months. The bottom line is to overlook any minor issues, relax, and enjoy a great breakfast at a very reasonable price.

This is a must stop for a diner atmosphere breakfast or lunch. It's located in the Moxy hotel and it's replicate of the original Belvedere Diner that was torn down a few years ago. It's small inside so it's not great for large groups. We sat at the counter and we got there early on a Sunday morning. Hardly anyone there but by the time we left the place was packed! I got the breakfast sandwich with a side of hash browns. Loved the Texas toast. It was more than enough food. The scrambled egg was perfect - not overcooked at all. Absolutely loved sitting at the counter and watching the cooks who were providing us with some funny entertainment. The cook; Meghan, was wonderful and made sure we enjoyed our food. Very friendly and truly cared that the food was good. Our waitress Maddie took great care of us. I will absolutely be back.
