After finishing up a conference in Virginia Beach, I visited the Belvedere South Diner in the bottom of the Moxy hotel. I was looking forward to grabbing a quick bite to eat but did not expect such great service and quality food from a hotel restaurant. The waiter, Kirsten, promptly took my order and brought my coffee immediately. Top Notch customer service from when you walk thru the doors! Kirsten, Maddie, Ian, Brian and Megan all did a great job while I was staying there! Highly recommend the breakfast burrito, but be warned it’s a beast of a burrito! Even if you’re not staying at the Moxy I would go to the Belvedere just to enjoy the food and conversations with the staff. Their kitchen banter is so funny and can tell they truly care about their patrons needs.

Kirsten and Maddie have taken care of my friend and me lmore than once now. Great spot. Old diner feel but really comfy booths. Perfect patty melt every time. Friend got big burrito at Maddie's suggestion and it was great and plenty for his appetite. Go here eat well tip well!Parking: It's the oceanfront so free all winter and plenty of street spaces on 12th-16thWheelchair accessibility: Has ramp front AND direct ground floor entrance in rear.
