Cute place. We were greeted quickly and chose to sit at the bar. They cleaned up a space for us fairly quickly. Took a while to get our order taken but the she was efficient on checking on us once we did.Not a fan of the salsa that came with the chips. Ordered the queso blanco which was pretty good. We ordered the Chimichanga Del Pollo and the Cancun. The food came out luke warm which made it feel like it wasn’t prepared fresh and the first few bites were bland but it got better over time. The taco in the Cancun was not what I expected, it looks like a Taco Bell taco. The Espresso Martini was delicious and the service was good.We were underwhelmed by the food, unfortunately I can’t say I’d go back anytime soon unless it was just for the vibes.

Food was amazing! Spicy Salsa was warm and so right with the chips. Tacos were phenomenal, and the apple pie dessert was as tasty as the performance building it at our table!

What a wonderful restaurant! We had a friendly greeting at the door, the restaurant had pleasing decor, and Jasmine took great care of us!! I tried a dish that was new to me, and it was delicious. My dinner date enjoyed the fajitas ... which were served as they should be - sizzling. Kudos, Catina Laredo!!

The Casarita (house margarita) is DELICIOUS. The food is ok, it's more American fusion. I find the happy hour appetizers to be worth it but not the entrees. The service is pretty good. Great atmosphere, modern, slightly upscale and wonderful views of Town Center. We went for happy hour on Friday. When speaking with the hostess about seating and we were there for happy hour, they made it clear that HH was only at the bar and high tops. Good enough for us! The table top drinks menu advertises happy hour Monday to FRIDAY to 6 pm. It shows the "Casarita" as $6.50 under the Happy Hour heading. When ordering our second round drinks, the server said something along the the lines of better hurry before happy hour is over. When we got our bill, SURPRISE! Happy hour on Friday is only for food, despite the placard on the table that says otherwise. So be warned! Overall we had a nice time and enjoyed our food and drinks but would not have ordered as many had we known we would be charged double and then the rest of the staff tried to gaslight us. I don't like it when they don't apologize for misleading customers. That's shady. You'll see I fixed the menu on our table.

Beautiful restaurant. The food was mid at best. Nothing exciting and I can get better Mexican for a lot less money. Mostly flavorless or just covered in some sort of sour sauce with a lot of salt. Rice was undercooked. Drinks were too sweet.Service was extremely slow. Unsure if that's the kitchen or wait staff causing this. Took forever for our food orders to be taken. Our waiter was nowhere to be seen unless he was bringing us yet another bowl of chips. We even decided to just go to the bar to order drinks because we couldn't find our waiter and had been sitting for 20min with no check-ins. Food took around 40min after we ordered. It did feel like they waited until the food for the entire party was ready before bringing it out, but the wait between dishes was long because food came out cold, some still cold in the middle. We even asked to have a dish microwaved out of fear that we would have to wait another 40min for it to be remade. The restaurant was mostly empty. 4 other tables. We were a larger group of 9 so we understand if that can be difficult but with so few other tables, it is surprising. Our waiter didn't check in to let us know when our food would be coming. We were so full of chips that nobody really ate their food. But, only 1 person took their leftovers home because it wasn't worth saving for later.

Great location. Upscale Mexican. Large dining room with a large bar and lots of outdoor seating. The menu is more interesting than the standard Mexican place. Portions not overwhelming like at some places. Fair prices. Very much enjoy the tapas menu. Overall, I highly recommend this place.Parking: We park at the old Pembroke mall and walk over. Most probably would prefer the nearby parking garage.

The food was good very tasty, but took 45 mins to get 2 apps. Drinks took sooooo long to get. They either need to hire more bar tenders because we were at the bar and so inattentive. Probably won't be back....

We brought our twin one-year-olds to support our friend who was playing in the bar area and celebrate a friend's birthday. It was nice to feel comfortable having the babies there. The staff were very accommodating, the food was great, and the birthday girl had fun! I live close by and pop in somewhat regularly at different hours and always have a good experience.

Tried this place three times. Every time I ordered something different and every dish has not been good. The only positive is the dessert options. Plaza Azteca is way better. If you don’t feel like traveling that far, El Azteca is also better.

Tried this place on another effort to find good Mexican food but again, unsuccessful. The food is American (light on flavor and seasoning) with Spanish named dishes.I tried the Tacos Pescados. The menu read: Corn tortillas with sautéed Mahi Mahi, monterey jack, cilantro, chipotle aioli, Veracruz vegetables, mango-pineapple pico de gallo, roasted red pepper and queso fresco.I requested no cilantro, got lots of sauce, a tiny piece of unseasoned fish and a few red peppers sprinkled on an uncooked MINI corn tortilla. My tortilla chip was bigger than my taco. The margaritas (the flight and grilled peach) were full of ice and sooooo sweet, we didn't bother to order more. Service was good enough. Can't find a reason to want to return.

Excellent ambiance and decor and setting. Out waitress was so awesome for our party of 10 for my wife's birthday. The food was very good and I would come back in a heart beat for our next event or for a drink.

Cantina Laredo was pretty busy the night we dined there. It seemed they were understaffed. The food was good however it would be nice if they had a plain sweet tart margarita on their menu. The one I got tasted like dish soap and I had to exchange it and even the new one was not good.

I booked this reservation for a business meeting for a party of nine. Jasmine was our waitress and she was super attentive. We were never without drinks, and she made sure to keep checking on us frequently. I will definitely do another dinner at this location.
