Every time we visit Virginia this will be our first stop. We were lucky enough to meet Ellen herself when making our order. She was soooo welcoming and kind. Not surprised they have been in business over 15 years. She made us feel like family and the food did not fall short either. Food was filled with flavor and high quality ingredients. Ellen's serves the best catfish in town. The seasoning is just right. I can never make it home before opening the container. The lady who takes your order could provide better service though. She's a little rude and rushes people. I have experienced this more than once. Her aside, Ellen's has some of the best food around!

I actually went yesterday and ordered two pig feet meals with cabbage, green beans and yams.I enjoyed the yams, the cabbage was also okay. The green beans were heavily salted.But the pigs feet were undercooked by about an hour.If you can't push a fork through it then it needs to be cooked longer.The issue is this is my second time ordering them.
