This has to be one of the worst Starbucks in the area. It’s not every once in a while, it’s almost every time. Mobile order? Never ready, not even close to eta given. Drive thru? Be prepared to wait a minimum of 15 minutes in line (you could be one of 3 cars and this applies). Go in person to order? You will sit waiting and wondering why there’s 3 people working yet no drinks are being made. Then question why you came inside in the first place. If you have the ability to go to a different Starbucks location, just keep driving pass this unreliable location.
Ordered on the mobile app, and the drink was not ready when I went to pick it up. After I waited awhile, I asked the barista about it, and she told me she didn’t have a sticker for that drink. I showed her my receipt on the app where I had paid for it, and that the pick up location was at great neck. She still refused to make the drink and told me that I had to call Starbucks corporate hotline to get a refund. I said I didn’t really need a refund, I’d be happy to have the drink, but she refused to make it. My husband and I frequent the Starbucks multiple times a week, but not anymore.We were actually trying to cut back, but Now is a great reason to never go back!!

My coffee was made correctly and tasted great. The baristas were all very friendly.
The staff is so friendly and really good at their jobs. However I have one MAJOR complaint.It is absolutely FREEZING all the time. Winter, summer, spring or fall they have the air conditioning blasting. I went in one morning, it was 36 degrees, no heat at all. I would love to sit down and enjoy my latte but I can't because I am literally shaking because it is so cold.I emailed the District Manager and he said they were going to adjust the thermostat but I've seen absolutely no improvement. It makes zero sense for a coffee shop to be freezing in the winter.

I’m sure we were there during peak hours, but waiting 40 minutes for a coffee isn’t normal. Maybe they are so understaffed it’s not even funny. Didn’t seem like it
I’ll start off that going in person or through the drive through is a generally great experience. However mobile ordering is really hit or miss. Not sure but my past two mobile orders that were picked up by my husband (he’s not a Starbucks person so he doesn’t exactly know what drinks are supposed to look like) were completely off or just wrong. This one is a vanilla crème Frappuccino. There’s supposed to be whipped cream and an actual spout lid for a straw. I had no modifications. Also ordered oatmeal and did not get the toppings I ordered. If I didn’t live 15 minutes away I’d have gone back myself.

This is the worst Starbucks in Hampton Roads. I always order drinks with no ice, and they add water instead of coconut milk. I have complained about it and they continue doing it. This is the only Starbucks they do that.

This is the best Starbucks in the area. We have always found the baristas to be friendly and fast, and the drinks are always accurate, quality, and yummy. Once we started doing the drive through mobile orders we noticed how fast the drive through goes, even when lots and lots of cars are ahead of us.Dietary restrictions: Excellent at accommodating custom orders.

This Starbucks is a nice location & there’s a lot of nice memories there. A few changes since I was there 7 years ago, but change is inevitable & I hope the Great Neck area can still maintain the charm it’s always been known for.

Okay whoever the dude was that I talked to at 4:10ish today at the drive thru, you made my day. I know they have to make conversation but he was so genuine and it felt like such a real conversation with someone and not forced for him to do. I’ve been going to this Starbucks since I moved here in 2019 and I’ve got to say, that dude is one of my favorite encounters at that store besides the gentleman with the long beard. The customer service is always superior.
I love Starbucks my favorite coffee is the white chocolate moca.
