My favorite place to eat. The JC Special is all pulled pork and the Smokehouse Special (my personal favorite) is all pulled smoked chicken. The prices are fair for the quality. Even when they are busy they quickly have your order ready. The cookies taste great and the burger is worth the wait... (10ish mins).... This review is about 5 years old. I stand by the words that I wrote 5 years ago. You can order anything it always tastes great. If not they will always make it right.
Great Tennessee Que. Staff is friendly. Is very clean including the bathrooms. Short wait times even when busy. Plenty of seating inside and lots of umbrella covered picnic tables outside. Easy off and back on interstate 64.Parking: Plenty of parking even when busy.

Friendly, courteous, clean, fast. I was in town for an event and wanted to try the pulled pork. I got the meal with fries and a side order of baked beans. I sat next to a family hosting their North Carolina siblings and they traveled an hour north just for the barbecue because they like it better than NC BBQ! On my other side were a couple who drove an hour from Richmond just to get BBQ and onion rings! They've been going there on beach trips since their grown children were little....read full review
