The Bar-B-Que was a little disappointing for my taste. It wasn't bad just nothing amazing to my tastes. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very nice. My food was served fast and delivered hot.

Friendly, courteous, clean, fast. I was in town for an event and wanted to try the pulled pork. I got the meal with fries and a side order of baked beans. I sat next to a family hosting their North Carolina siblings and they traveled an hour north just for the barbecue because they like it better than NC BBQ! On my other side were a couple who drove an hour from Richmond just to get BBQ and onion rings! They've been going there on beach trips since their grown children were little. (I love the large size, and volume, of fries but the Onion Rings looked fabulous) The power went out before I had time to finish half my food. Nobody panicked. The staff and management handled things the best they could while allowing us to enjoy the experience and share stories about what makes Pierce's such a wonderful place. Maybe they can franchise to my home in Pittsburgh??? Thank you for a wonderful meal and experience. Congratulations on more than 50 years!!!

I've personally heard a lot of good reviews about this establishment and have been wanting to go for some years now. Well, I finally had the time and opportunity for the first time yesterday.The cashier was super nice and friendly, and the atmosphere was calm and quiet. From other reviews... I must've picked the right time and day because it wasn't super busy or packed. The cashier (who was also training someone) got the line down quickly and swiftly.The BBQ was okay, not the best I've had, but definitely not the worst. They give a big bag of fries and a reusable small drink cup.The only little small issue I have is when a young female employee was asked by a guest that was with me where were the restrooms...she looked up and pointed to the restoom sign instead of opening her mouth and using her words. The guest wasn't able to see the sign due to where we were sitting. I get it. She probably gets asked that question a lot (I actually do too at my job, so I definitely understand), but it's something to be noted.

Very efficient at what they do, which can be good or bad. Felt like they were trying to feed the masses instead of focusing on quality. Pork had way too much sauce on it. All meals come with fries and we didn’t like the fries. Would recommend trying out other places for BBQ in the area.
