Went to Sal’s while visiting Williamsburg. It is an enormous space surprisingly it does not feel loud and crowded because of its design. It also had a number of spaces/tables for larger parties. Unfortunately the food is just mediocre- not terrible but nothing special at all The chicken cacciatore was nothing special and the salmon was bland and not warm when served. The best dish was the bruschetta which was quite good. At least the prices were reasonable

The pizza was ok. The chicken for the chicken parm was rubbery. The bread basket they gave us was stale and cold. The lady at the checkout register could care less about us when we were trying to pay for our food - she was quite busy mingling with other patrons who have already paid.

We were told this restaurant had some of the best pizza in Williamsburg so we gave it a try we’re from the Northeast more specifically Connecticut and New York city where the pizza quality is earth shattering We weren’t expecting It to rival what we were used to but we were sorely disappointed to find the pizza was average at best- nothing unique about the dough or toppings so I would avoid this restaurant for pizza if you’re used to high-quality pies from up north

Food is unbelievably good. Their menu is huge, with lots of Italian specialties, and seafood items. I had the stuffed flounder which was a special the night that we visited. It was terrific. Our party of 14 included six adults, six teenage boys, and two little ones. We had a single waiter manage our entire order, which included multiple separate checks. He did an amazing job, I wish I could remember his name he did nit get frazzled once. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal and that is really impressive. Highly, highly recommend this place. Amazing food, terrific service, and great prices as well.

Best Italian food I’ve ever had in the US, and yes counting St. Louis. If you’re lucky you’ll get waited on by “mamasan” whose amazing service skills are worthy of 35% tip minimum. Dining in you’ll want pasta, pork or steak plus dessert. Get a pizza to go, trust me you’ll want it later and Sals may be closed. You can’t go wrong with this place. We found it on our honeymoon and come back every year we can.

Sals is the go to place in Williamsburg for Italian food. Take out or dine in is easy and affordable. My favorites are chicken parm and any pizza!

We were in Williamsburg to see the sights and stumbled onto Sal's from their advertisement for the Wine and Dinner Special. Food was excellent and just the right portions and the complimentary bottle of wine was great too. Some, in our party, said the fettucine alfredo was the best they had ever had. The service was terrific and the prices exceptional. This is a small family-run business and has that kind of charm. Perfect for chatting or a romantic evening. Save room for the home-made tiramisu! So good, we came back two more times before heading back for home.

Was immediately impressed with the food and service here - very friendly place with authentic Italian food! My family and I dined here with a brief wait for a table. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal and we felt the place deserves 5 stars! We had eggplant with ziti (delicious), veggie lasagna (perfecto), Calzone (the best) and the bread was so good!! The only thing that didn't go over well were the fried zucchini sticks, but otherwise, I highly recommend this place for Italian food!

Wow, this place is top notch Italian. Temperature controlled wine storage room. Pasta type selection was great and they accommodate change. Place is huge and can accommodate groups. I can’t say enough about the food. Our family group of 6 had a wide selection of veal, chicken, a burger and a pizza. It was all wonderful and enjoyable experience. Two big tour buses had reserved a big private room and there was a private entrance for that banquet room so nearly 100 people didn’t have to stream in the restaurant. Ambiance and decoration was very nice. This was another local recommendation for Williamsburg area. We were so happy we went there.

My partner and I came to this restaurant knowing that we wanted pasta. We were not disappointed! Their meat sauce is so delicious. It is very meaty with a hint of wine. My expectations for pasta will now be to have it as good as this restaurant. The people working here are so nice and attentive to the guest. I 100 % recommended coming here!
