First time I've ever ordered takeout sushi and sashimi from a Japanese restaurant and received absolutely NO wasabi with the order. Ever eaten Sushi without wasabi?? It's rather bland and disappointing!

There is no real sushi in northern Virginia, especially here, run-of-the-mill, quality of meat and chicken same thing you get anywhere else very long wait times for anything even when there’s nobody eating they’re very unmotivated staff.

The food was okay. I would suggest the sushi over the hibachi. The rice and vegetables were better than the meat. All of the meat was overcooked. The sauces were good. The service was slow, until we were finished. They were in rush to clear our table. Maybe it was a bad day, but the food and experience were not as good as my last visit, which was a year ago.

Great service! Absolutely the best hibachi anywhere!
Waitress was nice that's about it. Food was mediocre and for lunch very expensive. Atmosphere turned me off. Staff going in and out of some closet eating. More staff then customers and the hibachi chef was nice but looked homeless and kept coughing. Ugh regret having lunch here and spending 65.00. Chic fila would have been way better and a quarter of the price.

Ugh! The food was GOD AWFUL and upset my stomach terribly. Food was extremely overpriced and there’s way better near at a more economic price. I’d rather give away my money than return here and spend a single penny on the wretched food!
Terrible service! I got food poisoning from here and the food is all disgusting and water. I also spotted a few mice and cockroaches on the floor. Truly and utterly DISGUSTING. Please save yourself and your family from a terrible night out and instead spend your money on a better place.

If I was writing this review just based on the food, it would 4 stars. My only complaint was that the ginger dressing on the salad was a little grainy and the lobster and shrimp hibachi were overcooked. The soup, steak, chicken, and filet mignon hibachi were all delicious. Our chef, however, was a different story. I was in the middle of a conversation when the chef arrived and instead of waiting for us to finish talking or getting our attention in a polite way, he banged his utensils on the grill and stared at us. Now, after that I was expecting a show and that's not at all what we got. He made a half- ass onion volcano, and decided he was done for the day. No jokes, no tossing of the broccoli, and barely even a smile. He didn't ask how anything was and didn't offer any additional yum yum sauce before taking off. He could not get out of there fast enough. We were in a group of 8 so a 20% gratuity was required for this lackluster service. We paid our bills and before half of us had put our credit cards back in our wallets, a woman who I think was the owner or the manager came up to us and asked us if we were leaving or if she could move us to a different table. I understand if we were lingering for a long time on a busy Saturday night, but as I said we hadn't even been there for 5 minutes after we'd paid. For a group of customers who just spent well over $500, I would have expected to be treated better. I'll probably just stick with takeout if I give this place another chance.
