Classic comfort food at a great price. It's located in a really cool old apothecary shop that still has a lot of the original drawers and large counter. Great selection of beers and drinks. Friendly serving staff.
I loved every part of my visit to Water Street Kitchen! I ordered the blackened catfish with greens and brussel sprouts and it was amazing! Even their upscale version of diet Coke was so good I ordered two to take home with me! The server (I did not catch his name) was amazing and seemed to be handling most (if not all) the tables. He was friendly, prompt and extremely efficient and had a great people presence. I highly recommend this restaurant while you are enjoying the downtown...read full review

Our server was very good. The food was delicious. I loved the fried green tomatoes. The soup was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had to ask for plates for the appetizer. The person who bought them to the table in a basket. Our server corrected the problem immediately.Vegetarian options: I chose vegan options. There was a nice selection.
