“Put aside your first impressions re. Curry Cuisine being part of the gas station. The service could not be quicker, nor friendlier than all the people at Curry Cuisine.But the real kudos go to the food. The Mixed Kebabs was the best I've ever had - here or in India. The lamb and chicken were so tender, and the sauce had just a hint of hot, but mostly delicious. And order a Mango Lassi for like none other than you've ever had, without the cloying sweetness of the many others I have tried elsewhere. We also enjoyed the Palak Chatt - a bit different than elsewhere, but a wonderful combination of fried spinach, tomato, potato, onion, and garbanzos with a wonderful semi-sweet sauce.Overall, I highly recommend, and we will be back, even though it's a bit of a trek from Falls Church.oh, and the wonderfully sweet little lagniappe of rice pudding at the end was small, but just right ending.”

“I LOVE Pizzoco! The only thing as good as their fresh and flavorful food is their customer service. I go to get pizza probably less than once and month and it's always the same friendly faces there serving you. It blew my mind when one of the team members remembered that I preferred my Prosecco at room temperature, before I ever said anything. Hands down THE best pizza in Winchester.”

“We were in Winchester for a meeting and decided to try Taqueria Guadalajara for lunch. We're originally from California now living in Northern VA so I'm very picky with Mexican food. This restaurant did not disappoint. In fact, it's one of the most authentic Mexican food places. Definitely NOT Tex-Mex! I had menudo and hubby had barbacoa sopes and they were excellent (see pictures). I met two families here who were also from Southern California! You've got to try it here!”

“Dined here twice. Both times the food was excellent. The shrimp tikka masala and Saag Paneer that we ordered (with Indian hot spice level) were excellent. The saag paneer’s texture was amazing and there was depth to that flavor. The naans were excellent too, especially bullet naan. It was spicy. Highly recommend this place!”

“I recently visited Poblanos for the first time and I have to say I was impressed by the authenticity in taste of their dishes. If you like real authentic flavor in your Mexican food (not tex-mex) you need to visit them and try their quesabirrias, tortas and mole. Highly recommend this place.??”

We ate at the bar and our bartender Molly was incredible. Very attentive, friendly, a blast to talk to and made sure all of our needs were met. Overall a great atmosphere, service, staff and food! “We had a rehearsal dinner at the Village Square 4/12/2024. We had 48 guests and they accommodated us perfectly. I worked with Courtney to customize/limit the menu. She was so helpful the food was fantastic! They had plenty of staff that accommodated everyone, they were flexible and allowed me to bring in my dessert to stay within budget, set it up, displayed it and cleaned. All of our guests were so impressed with the quality of food and the staff. We had the shrimp and grits, filet, and chicken. They also added pasta primavera for the vegetarians. They were all delicious, but they knocked the filet out of the park definitely work the extra money. I will go back again and recommend for any type of celebration.Parking: Parking garage directly behind the restaurant along with street parking.”

Like a lot of buildings in downtown Winchester it's old and can feel small. I know they have another dining room but we are at the main part so I can't offer much in what the other room was like. “I went to Waffle House after waiting for a half hour at the Cracker Barrel, I ordered the old timers breakfast with Biscuits and Gravy, after a significant wait the waitress brought the eggs and said it would be a little bit longer for the Biscuits and Gravy, the eggs were long past cold when she came out again telling me me they were out of biscuits and offered toast so without eating anything I paid my bill I walked out. Now back to the waffle House. I was served my desired B&G breakfast, it was cooked exactly as I had asked and it was within five minutes. So why only 4 Stars? The W.H. is a very loud environment, their wait staff think nothing of yelling back and forth. The food is delicious and great value. But it would be nice with a modicum of decorum.”

The doors don’t have automatic opening buttons, but there are 2 doors so despite it being an old building you should be able to get in if someone holds the door for you.”

The service is beyond great, everyone is so nice, welcoming and shares their own recommendations which means you know it's good if a person works there and can still recommend haha. They also have the fastest tap service. Literally you will order a beer and it's like your server does a spin and boom! Beer on your table. In addition to the great service the food is AMAZING. My personal favorite is the chicken cordon bleu sandwich, my husband likes the George Washington. Definitely recommend!”

“My first Golden Corral experience. It was better than I anticipated. Prices were very reasonable, with dinner buffet costing $15.99 for an adult. The food options were plenty and the staff worked hard to keep everything refilled quickly. The table server was so pleasant and attentive, and kept our table cleared and drinks refilled continuously. The buffet was clean, for the most part, considering how many people were at the counter at any given time. The food itself was good - salty, as expected, but the BBQ pulled pork and mashed potatoes were both my favorites. There were also so many dessert options, which was surprising. I'm not a lover of buffets by any means, but this was above expectations.”

“This is a Mom and Pop food counter located inside a small Latino grocery store. The tacos are to die for. I had beef, carnitas (pork) and chicken tacos. They were all outstanding. They make pupusas one day of the week as a lunch/dinner special. They were not available on the day I was there, but if the tacos are any indication of the food, they too would be great! I look forward to trying them on another day. Very limited table space. This is a mostly to go food counter.”

The staff memBer who we had interacted with was the manager on shift at the time. She seemed to Be in her mid to late 20's or so, and she was very friendly and happy energy wise. She made sure we were aBle to order on the kiosk and she checked to make sure her staff was preparing our food. She gave us our cups so that we could fix our soft drinks, and By the time we were done with that and walked Back to the front counter our she was handing us our food. It was only a 6-8 minute visit. The food was hot and fresh and we had no complaints at all. I would definitely recommend this particular place.Parking: The parking is much like any other typical McDonald's. A few handicap spots and quite a Bit of regular parking in a parking lot on the property.”

“Bojangles has been in my city for years but can only remember eating there once at the Gateway restaurant.So recently wanted a quick breakfast without the whole restaurant experience and I'm a sucker for gravy on anything so I ordered their country biscuit combo with Bo tater rounds and a drink and it didn't disappoint it is a very tasty sausage gravy on a split biscuit so good in fact that I have already been back for more.The service was top notch each time and haven't tried anything else on the menu yet but am going to and have high expectations.The prices are pretty fair considering the state of our economy so kudos Bojangles I will be back. ??”

I think they told us it would be 25 minutes, but I don’t think it actually took that long. The atmosphere inside was casual and friendly and the service was excellent. We ordered Maryland crab soup, a lobster roll, and the tuna tacos. We got fries and hush puppies as a side along with coleslaw and took home some key lime pie for dessert. Everything was excellent, as we expected based on the food at Village Square and Water Street. We will absolutely be back both for their prepared food and for any of the large variety of fresh and frozen seafood.”

“Cracker Barrel is a great family friendly restaurant with food that tastes homemade. Usually get a vegetable plate with four sides. The restaurant also has a retail side with clothing, hair accessories, candies, jewelry and more. They rotate the retail seasonally. If you are looking for a quilt, they have a small selection. It’s a great place for browsing, great food and caring staff. Highly recommended.”

“We were in Winchester for a meeting and decided to try Taqueria Guadalajara for lunch. We're originally from California now living in Northern VA so I'm very picky with Mexican food. This restaurant did not disappoint. In fact, it's one of the most authentic Mexican food places. Definitely NOT Tex-Mex! I had menudo and hubby had barbacoa sopes and they were excellent (see pictures). I met two families here who were also from Southern California! You've got to try it here!”

“I travel a lot for business and I get so tired of trying to find decent places to eat. Union Jack was an amazing find. Best fish and chips I've had in ages. Paired with the Union Jack IPA, and pretzels with beer cheese... I'm glad I don't live near this place, I'd weigh 400 lbs. The bartender Emily was super sweet and pretty darn cute I might add. Atmosphere was perfect, great music (not too loud) and soft lighting, but not so dim that you couldn't see what you were eating. Great place to grab dinner.”

“I was staying at the hotel next door last week. Being so close, It would have to really suck for me not to eat there. That being said; it was pretty good. I would drive there if I had to. The bar was nice and the food was good. I had the cheesesteak, ribs, and a burger (different nights). The service at the bar was good and the beer selection was great too. “My first Golden Corral experience. It was better than I anticipated. Prices were very reasonable, with dinner buffet costing $15.99 for an adult. The food options were plenty and the staff worked hard to keep everything refilled quickly. The table server was so pleasant and attentive, and kept our table cleared and drinks refilled continuously. The buffet was clean, for the most part, considering how many people were at the counter at any given time. The food itself was good - salty, as expected, but the BBQ pulled pork and mashed potatoes were both my favorites. There were also so many dessert options, which was surprising. I'm not a lover of buffets by any means, but this was above expectations.”
