First Watch generally offers good food and service, but there was a disappointing experience on Sunday, April 21. Customers who arrived around 7:45 AM were left waiting while another customer who arrived after them was served first. The server seemed to have issues that day and the manager had to be involved to address the situation. The customers eventually left for IHOP due to the long wait. However, another visit to a different First Watch location resulted in a positive experience with fresh, tasty food and welcoming service. The Works Omlette was specifically mentioned as delicious. There was an issue with cold grits on two occasions, but the server was attentive and managed to fix the problem.
