The bottom line on this place is that the fish they serve is not fresh (as other reviews have said). It is also extremely expensive for how much food you get. Ordered tempura. Got vegetable tempura and coconut shrimp. Service is fine. The restaurant is very small and, because they play their music so loud, it might be difficult to take a date to (I was with my son so we didn't mind). Wouldn't return.

Not bad. The service was good, but the Nigiri/sashimi was overly fishy (not fresh). Just order rolls and cooked food and you'll be good

This place is small but I loved every inch of it. The music was so good I didn’t have to have my air pods in when I went on a solo date. The sashimi, miso soup and chilly Philly was delicious. My only problem was I asked to lower the spice level on the chilly Philly and they completely removed the spiced. I’ll definitely be back to try more!

This is a cute little ramen/sushi shop right in Stonebridge. I visited on a rainy Wednesday evening for dinner, so it wasn't too crowded. Wife and I were craving some ramen and hadn't tried anything in the Woodbridge area yet.Our server was very friendly and the food was alright.the meat in my dish (Spicy Jin Ramen) was rather tough. the broth was decent but it didn't wow me. the egg was perfect, and i really enjoyed the Goyza's.Overall, the experience was pretty unremarkable, but not bad. not sure that I'd return for the ramen, given the plethora of excellent ramen spots in northern VA. i did not have any sushi but it appeared to be well made and popular. They use a chili oil to spice up the ramen. which isn't terrible but it felt overpowering. not from a spiciness perspective but just overall taste.all in all, the spot is chill and convenient if you're in Stonebridge, but i wouldn't go out of my way to stop in.

Interesting dining experience. The restaurant gives off street food vibes at typical American restaurant prices. I think, it is overpriced for what is served. The food is nothing spectacular. Not worth a second visit for a dining-in experience.Though, the food is prepared quickly, and of standard quality. If looking for a quick bite, I would recommend this location.

Came in on Sunday with my mom after church, and it was being managed by a kid! She did hold her own though, she took care of our issue quickly. The food was great, even though the Tempura Don is mostly vegetables. That being said, the service is why I could not give this place more than 3 stars. Our food came out on top of each other, no time to enjoy our appetizers and our table was too small to hold all the plates. Our waitress forgot part of our order and tried to pretend the kitchen was still working on it. I am just glad the manager was there to work out the last stretch of our visit.

A little expensive but very much worth the price! Bulgogi is my favorite, feeds me for two days since it's so much!

Our service was not good. There was 4 of us and they forgot one person's ramen after delivering everyone else's. The eggs were over cooked and when asked for a new one, we were told that the chef said they're all prepared that way. The extra sushi rice I ordered didnt have the same toppings as the Alexandria location I frequent. That location is WAY better.

Servers do not get the tip’ stay away! Awful owner establishment. This location had completely fallen down since 3 years ago. We had the ramen which we always raved about as the best ramen in the area for both price and taste but after trying for two times now it has gone down hill. The sushi also tasted not fresh and very mediocre. I’m sad to say we will no longer be returning

This is definitely a great place to have Japanese soup on a cold day! I recommend the Chashu Ramen, which has braised pork as the main protein. If you're not a fan of hard boiled eggs, ask them not to add it. It is a hearty soup and pretty filling. They also have a variety of sushi to order, to include rolls, nigiri and sashimi styles . If you get the sashimi style (straight raw fish slices) try it with warm sake... it's the best! Edamame and pan fried vs deep fried gyoza are great appetizers. The service is also very nice and friendly. The ambiance is pretty authentic of a mom and pop shop in Japan. They even have Japanese shows playing!
