Worst experience at an Uncle Julio's ever. Having lived in Dallas, I've been to Uncle Julio's locations in several cities. The one here in Woodbridge needs to learn a few things. I've been here about five times and each time, as a single person, they try to seat me in the bar. I've stopped drinking and I don't like sitting in the bars so they always roll their eyes when I want to sit in the dining room. Tonight I got my seat in an empty dining room. It was 5:45 and they didn't have many diners yet. Seven people walked by me over span of 10 minutes and not one of them asked me if I'd like a drink or offered me water. They were off doing whatever they're doing with other empty tables., getting ready for dinner and not one person spoke to me. Finally a manager saw me around the pillar and walked around and asked if I was being served. I told him I was completely invisible because nobody saw me or spoke to me. They bumped my chair walking by but they didn't even acknowledge my presence. The waiter who was serving me finally came over and was very kind and brought me my drink. Got me some chips and salsa. He took my order and checked on me over the next 20 minutes. He kept dropping by and said, "don't you have your food yet?".Finally, he went back and checked in the kitchen and they had forgotten to make my order. The place by now only had three tables and a few patrons in the bar. This was not a rush, this was not even a normal dinner. This was a very light evening. So my food finally shows up about 10 minutes later. I still feel completely invisible and humiliated because of the way I've been treated. As I'm eating, I had asked the server to bring my check so I could just get out because I was just tired of waiting. A second manager walked up and tried to talk to me at the end of the meal and I was done. I paid my bill and walked out the door. It's an utterly frustrating and humiliating way to treat people.

Like others have mentioned, Uncle Julio's has changed. Kids menu staples are gone. No chicken tenders for those kids that still do not enjoy Mexican food, yet their family/others do. Making it one less place to go to.... I have 2 and my oldest will only eat their steak (now) or when they had tenders. They don't offer plain white rice or fries either. The menu has shortened and it now has cafe attached to its name.... This was such a popular place too. Also - their packed food to take home isn't as it was before. Not impressed with the quality.

The atmosphere was great, the service was great, but the food lacked. It is definitely tex mex but a little dry and flavorless. For appetizer we got the shrimp and fish ceviche which was amazing no complaints. My entree was the steak bowl which was cold I like the rare steak, however even the rice was cold. It had no flavor not even salt or pepper. My boyfriend got the chicken fajita which was 4 slices of chicken over a very small bed of green peppers and onions with oil. The atmosphere and the service were what made it worth our night!

Another bad review for Uncle Julio's of Woodbridge, this time for in restaurant dining.I arrived to have dinner with my wife approximately 8:30pm and it looked like there was large party (20 or so people) waiting to be seated. Eventually left after waiting forever and never got the chance to even speak with a host. For over 15min I waited to speak with the host but she was never at the front desk. I think she was helping set up the table for the large party but she left the front desk completely unattended. Only 1 host on a Friday night? That's crazy. This was a complete joke, I get that the hosts will help set up and clean tables, but it was a busy Friday night with seemingly only 1 host on duty who wasn't even at her post. I eventually left without even being able to talk to anyone.FYI I did see a man who appeared to be the front of the house manager, but he was talking with a server and didn't seem to bothered by the unattended host desk nor did he make any effort to greet me or any of the other guests waiting.I don't know what it is about this location, but whether it's for takeaway or in restaurant dinning, it really doesn't seem like this restaurant prioritizes the customer at all. I had given up ordering take away at this location, now I'll be giving up on dinning in.Absolutely the worst Julio's restaurant I've ever been.

The service and atmosphere of this place was great. The food lacked seasoning. The drinks were phenomenal, I will return just for the drinks.

Speed is not on their side. Half the restaurant can be empty and they still can’t figure out where to seat you.

The service was poor, the waiter took a long time to take our initial orders, never asked us if we wanted drinks, never asked us for refills, or even checked on us! It took over 30 minutes to receive the food! Food was bland! Disappointed, gave this franchise many chances, will not be returning! Hope they will receive this feedback and make changes. ?

If after a long week you want to have a delicious dinner, don't order from this place!! I ordered the shrimp fajitas and got shrimp chicarones! That's mean fried to a crisp!!! I've tried to call twice to speak to a manager and of course I've been on hold for 30 mins. Since I'm tired and now extremely hungry I will keep calling. Uncle Julio's you have been XXXXX

The server was stellar. He was extremely nice and is what saved this review from being 1 star. I spent 90$ here for a meal that would’ve been better at chipotle. The chips here are like expired Tostitos and the salsas that come with it taste so watered down I can’t tell if either one was supposed to be spicy or not. Ordered a quesadilla as an appetizer. It wasn’t bad but the ingredients were so cheap. Tasteless chicken and the cheese that I get from a kids Mozzarella stick. Ordered 2 fajitas - one steak and one chicken. The chicken one had a lot of the meat burnt. I ordered the steak medium well. The left half was medium and the other half was well done. I don’t think the chefs are that good. But the ingredients here are awful all around - worse than chipotle in all aspects. The guacamole was fine though. Didn’t even finish half the meal and didn’t bother to get a to go box. I wouldn’t even be upset enough to write this review if the bill wasn’t $75. Either lower the price or up the ingredients + cooks.

My coworker and i did not get asked if we needed anything. We had no water and when we asked for lore chips one of the servers made a face since everyone was talking in a group. Its like we interrupted them from their conversation.
