“I don’t typically write reviews, but I really love this place and visit every time I’m in the area. Food/drinks are delicious. Atmosphere is warm and welcoming. And the staff is delightful. Menu changes often, but I really enjoyed the bao buns, shrimp roll and polenta fries during my last visit. If I didn’t have food restriction, I would honestly try everything on the menu!

Shout out to Remy and Alain who are extremely hospitable every time I’m there. Thanks for sharing this gem with us! 🫶🏾

“The best restaurant / cafe I've been to in a long time. Bellows Falls is a stunning area. The Moon Dog reflects it's beauty and charm. The food is sublime and so is it's owner. Creative and tasty food with a twist of down home goodness.”

“Divinely cozy, nostalgic coffee shop. Staff is always friendly, and tons of local/small art + business is supported in the cafe. Lots of uniquely northern/New England flavors and menu items. If I lived here, I would definitely be here often as well as utilize it as a work from home space! Five stars.”

“Came here for lunch and the place was packed. It took quite a while to get my order so if you are in a time crunch, Lisai's may not be for you. The lunch was worth the wait. Fantastic sandwiches.”

“Best food in town and must be the coldest beverages in town. Friendly hard working staff. All are welcome. I challenge anyone to find a better Steak Bomb grinder in the area, or find tastier wings with their special on Thursday nights. Indoor dining and outdoor dining in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Wish they were open more often for Lunch specials and Adult beverages. Great piece of history here in Bellows Falls, with original Tin ceilings that were manufactured right here when Bellows Falls was in its hay day . Where people drink, eat and meet. Highly recommend!!! 10 out of 10!”

“Ordered 05/21 an a weirdly busy Tuesday, a night where everyone ordered at the same time and our order was STILL ready at a reasonable time. It was our first time ordering here as we just moved to town and we are pleased to say we found our pizza spot! The sauce is so good without being overpowering, cheese blend is perfect, and we got some random fried food from the menu that was very delicious. A simple pizza spot that does it right! Can’t wait to order again.”

“Open until midnight with Wi-Fi and a number of electrical outlets! Nothing else in town offers this. Everything else closes between 3 and 5 PM. Food is mediocre, but the staff is friendly.”

“Hubby & I tried The Hungry Diner for the first time on Valentine’s Day! The place was busy as we had expected, however we were greeted right away with a smile and welcome! She asked if we had been there before, gave us a run down of the menus and drink selections, how to order, be seated and served. The restaurant was so beautiful, well designed and very appropriate for the theme. We were amazed at how well everyone worked together so smoothly and happily! The milkshakes came out first and very quickly, truly so creamy!! Our food came out within 15 minutes, hot and fresh! My husband got the Hungry Mac & Cheese with Bacon, and I got the Hungry Chickenwich with Hungry Fries, neither of us were disappointed in any way! He needed a box for half of his dinner because it was so filling! He said the bacon was so fresh and thick cut, and the Mac n cheese was so creamy and rich! The chicken in the chickenwich was so juicy and cooked perfectly with crispy edges! The hungry fries are to die for, reminded me of fair fries! Highly recommend and we will be going back!! Side note, big shout out to a few employees who made our stay exceptional and/or we noticed going above and beyond: (apologies for not knowing anyone’s names) -one of the cooks wearing a beanie with pigtail braids: we watched her ensuring food went out looking perfect, if it was less than that or needed finishing touches she added it with such finesse and a smile! -the woman who greeted us (possibly an owner or manager): fantastic at her job, friendly, energetic, very welcoming and comforting (almost a motherly feeling), and extremely knowledgeable of the menu and drinks! She checked in with us a few times and asked our opinion! -the man wearing a hat (also possibly an owner or manager): my husband and I watched this man work so hard the entire time we were there! He was doing a little bit of everything, from bringing food to tables, to picking up dirty dishes, to observing the room to make sure everything was orderly! Everyone was friendly, smiling and hardworking! ☺️”

“It's a counter version of the Pizza franchise, so the seating accommodations are a little sparse; however, the pizza is just as incredible andcsuper FAST!!! I had no idea they were there in the gas-mart.”

“Small little gas station, Vermont side of New Hampshire Border and Conneticuit River. Railroad Tracks go behind it, saw this cool old Farm and Feed store behind it.

The store was nice, friendly staff, clean facilities. Gas Prices were pretty good too, cheaper then some others we saw!”
