“This was some of the best Jamaican food I have ever had. I'm from south Florida where there is a lot of Jamaican food and to find such authentic food in the mountains of Vermont was so amazing. The maple jerk pork was the perfect amount of sweet heat and the oxtail was so juicy and fell off the bone. The rice and peas are perfect. 10000/10 we will definitely be regulars like we were at the Jamaican restaurants in Florida. So happy to have a taste of home in Vermont.“
“I wanted to go for a motorcycle ride on a rare 60 degree day in November. I picked Brattleboro as a destination and decided to eat here after spotting it on Google maps. 71 miles to get there, and I'm glad I went. The food was very good, with a lot of choices on the menu. I like hot spicy food, and their food can be ordered with a heat level of 1 to 10. I ordered mine at 8 and found it to be spicy. It didn't leave a burn in my throat but it did make my nose run. For me personally, I would order a 10 heat level in the future. Dining is take out or they have some picnic tables. It's amazing that they have the menu of a brick and mortar restaurant but they're working in a food truck. I spent $18 for lunch, which for Thai food would be an average price. This is way better than the average Chinese food takeout and worth the extra cost. If your in the area and looking for something to eat, this is a great option.“
“I've been chasing the dragon since our trip to Puerto Rico for a cappuccino on par with what we experienced while we were there. This place nails it. If you haven't been here for a cup of coffee you need to check this place out. You'll thank me later. Best cup of Cappuccino in the area!“
“Crushed to hear this fantastic brewery is closing ? Though severely out of my everyday price range, their kettle-aged sours were some of the best luxury treats I’ve bought myself. Also not sure if it will upload but there is red paint spill in their lavatory… it’s in the shape of a hermit thrush. If that isn’t destiny that this place belongs there, I don’t know what is!Sending you love, Hermit Thrush!“
“The food here is excellent and the portions are very generous. We had the Chipotle Lime Pork Burrito Bowl. It was so big we could share it for dinner. My wife has Celiac disease and they were very knowledgeable about the issue. They took time to wipe down the counter and prep area before preparing our order. Definitely Gluten Free Friendly.Dietary restrictions: knowledgeable about gluten free and Celiac issues. Very conscientious about preventing cross contaminationWheelchair accessibility: The entry is accessible“
“So pleased with my Lunch here today! The restaurant is situated within a historical building which lends a warm and artistic flair to the atmosphere. Large room to the left of the bar for groups/events or more intimate dining. Wait staff was polite and knowledgeable. My lunch was incredibly savory and fresh. Prices are reasonable. This will truly be one of my go to restaurants in the area.Vegetarian options: Gluten free options“
“What an amazing experience! My family and I visited the gallery and learned about the powerful, humorous and moving art directly from Cai and Adam. While we were there, we also took advantage of the opportunity to order a delicious lunch of dumplings, spring rolls, buns and scallion pancakes. A terrific way to spend an afternoon in Brattleboro. We look forward to visiting, again! Thank you!“
