She and the rest of the staff shined tonight! Tried their award winning chili - very good; coconut curry vegetable soup - outstanding!; gluten free cake; non dairy mousse, etc. etc. If all vegan dishes are as tasty as this, wow! (And I hear they are!) A great experience for this novice.”

“Absolutely love this place—it’s hands down one of our favorite pizza spots in the area. Everything is excellent, no matter what you order. Some of our family favorites include the classic cheese or pepperoni pizza, the chicken and eggplant parmesan grinders, personal cheese pizzas for the kids, and their baklava for dessert.

The staff is incredibly friendly, and you can often see the owners working alongside their team, taking real pride in the quality of their food. From pizza to grinders, pasta, and salads, everything is top-notch. Highly recommend stopping in for some great food!

“This was our first time at the Royal Diner and the staff was great! We had a decent meal and it came out of the kitchen at lightening speed. The sweet potato fries could use a little more seasoning.
But, we were disappointed by the menu selection. It felt small for a diner and it was missing a diner classic in my opinion — the Reuben.”

The portions were fantastic (had more then enough), all containers were labeled,they provided serving utensils and it was all boxed and ready to go when I got there! They also helped me load it all into my car. So impressed with everything and will definitely be ordering from them in the future for any other gatherings that come up!”

“We went to Echo for the first time tonight. The food was good, service was pretty slow. Our appetizer, my grandsons food, both came out after our meals were almost gone. We ordered Calamari, which is not good reheated....the waiter said he would take care of us but wound up charging me for it. Not a huge deal, he was really nice, but that was a little disappointing.”

The environment piqued curiosity while giving options with its quieter "Speak Easy" styled downstairs. With a live band, a handful of themed books (namely: Stephen King) and some card games, this was a fun space where many enjoyed themselves.”

“I got the garbanzo frittata with two kinds of sauce and enjoyed the kale salad that came with it. My friend had the mushroom burger salad, and she thought it was delicious and very flavorful and that the burger was crispy and everything was very fresh. Went back on 5/9/2025 and we had the fries for an appetizer - hot, seasoned well and crisp on the ouside served with 2 sauces that complimented the fries well. One of us had the Fiesta Bowl - yummy and filling! and the other person got the Ferment Bowl- they were out of the bean for the bowl and so subbed aioli black bean dish and either the beans or the kimchi were really garlicy which was a bit of a taste turn off for me. “We have been twice since it's been under new ownership and we will be back many more! Everything has been delicious including the cocktails and the mocktails. “The place has a unique aesthetic throughout, including the bathrooms. The trivia questions at the table were a fun addition. The alcoholic beverage was made with a heavy pour but still delicious. The fried pickle spears were the best part dipped in the ranch. The Cesar salad, potato soup, and chicken Parmesan on penne noodles were good but nothing fancy. Our server was attentive and friendly. Overall not a bad place to stop for some drinks and apps but nothing to run to.”

“The service was terrible. We waited over an hour for our meal. My salad came after my meal was delivered. The meal was cold. It had been sitting for a very long time. The hostess finally delivered it. The chicken tenders were way over cooked. The waitress avoided us all during the meal, never came back to see if ever was ok. It was not ok. She snuck the check on our table. This is the worse experience ever in a restaurant and ruined our meal out.”

“There is nothing not to enjoy great service great product only one wish they would put one in Bennington. We desperately need a good bagel shop and café in Bennington.
