“We stumbled across this very small restaurant when a nearby one was closed. It's a bit hidden in that the sign isn't easily read in the dark and the interior with just a few tables is plain though warmly welcoming. And what a wonderful experience! As others have written, flavorful delicious food with good service and very fair prices. We're from out of town and chose to eat here several times during our stay. The owner came by and we had a couple of nice chats. They were doing a steady take-out and delivery business during our meals. Highly recommend the food.“

“I have lived in the Chittenden county area for years and have tried just about every Chinese restaurant in the area. Volcano Asian Cuisine is genuinely one of the best. My girlfriend is quite the sushi lover and she thinks the sushi here is the best in Chittenden county, if not all of Vermont. Everything else we have tried (crab rangoons, lo mein, won ton soup, fried rice) were excellent. It’s definitely one of our three favorite chinese restaurants in Chittenden county, along with Oriental Wok (Essex) and Yummy (Colchester).“

“Mama Pho is my favorite place to eat in Vermont. It’s great to have lunch during the winter months in the atrium area to get some sunlight. The plants are beautiful, the music always hits, and the food has never once been bad or inconsistent. Food seems very fresh and comes out quickly. I usually get the pho and I love it.“

“Fantastic Chinese food! This place has some of the best lo mien I've ever had, and I absolutely love the soups that there are to offer. The pu pu platter is amazing and the people are very nice. We eat here at least once a month and would definitely recommend that others eat here as well.“

“We came from Brooklyn and saw a familiar name but this food is so good it leave the yummy in Brooklyn in the dust! Woah, the best steamed dumpling sauce we ever tasted! Their spring rolls are a new family favorite when ever in Vermont. It's also a real family restaurant, nice people great service and so fast you will look up from your phone and it's waiting for you, Just the Best Chinese food around!Vegetarian options: Spring rolls and veggies with rice.Kid-friendliness: The sweet lady was Very friendly to our toddler.Parking: Lots of parking in the lot.Dietary restrictions: They cooked the soup egg drop with won tons in it! And made the spring rolls with no meats veggie, we just had to explain what we wanted.“

“I've been going to Hop Sing for what must be 10+years, after a coworker was reheating some leftovers that looked and smelled amazing. I was not disappointed and haven't been since. They make most of their food in house and it shows. There are few things on the menu that I prefer elsewhere. Their fried rice isn't too heavy, their chicken is almost always tender, their dumplings and crab rangoon are savory, and on and on. We've tried almost everything on the menu and every time we try another place we end up back here, even though we drive by at least a few other places on our way since moving out of the neighborhood shortly after our first trip there. There is one person who can be a bit rushed (though not rude) on the phone, but with online ordering for some time now, we often go that route.“

“Jason gave the best customer experience I’ve had in a very long time. Especially with the extra and special orders I ask for from any Chinese restaurant. When I asked for extra spicy mei fun with extra shrimp, they went above and beyond. This was the best I’ve ever ordered from a Chinese restaurant. It seems like each time gets better and better. I can’t wait for the next order… even though I only order every 3 months or so. 5 stars!!!“
