“Easy access caught my eye as I tried Jin's for the 1st time. Impressive presentation as we were served by the new Japanese ownership themselves. The friendly and smart family knew exactly what I was looking for, and then, almost like magic, out from the kitchen came our tasty lunch. I wanted to try the oriental ginger sauce on my chicken, but my friend couldn't eat sauces. We were sharing. ?“
“Wow!When the dishes arrive and they look good, smell good and you already feel that it's a good choice, that's a good sign!No disappointment after the first bite...and you'll have plenty as the portions are no jokes. We chose the creaky chicken, Tso chicken and sesame beef, Yume ?The place is huge (high ceiling), service is friendly and fast.Try it, you'll come back for sure!“
“Their food is excellent and they have very friendly service which I enjoyed very much. It was just so busy on Saturday in early evening and this is not a place if you are looking for a relaxing dinner. I will definitely come back to this restaurant for their food, though.“
“This little mom-an-pop sushi shop rocks. They pay attention to the quality of the rice and the temperature of the fish like few sushi places do. Not a fine dining sushi atmosphere, but what's on the plate is as good as anything you'll find. We always go here before seeing a movie at the Majestic 10.“
“I have lived in the Chittenden county area for years and have tried just about every Chinese restaurant in the area. Volcano Asian Cuisine is genuinely one of the best. My girlfriend is quite the sushi lover and she thinks the sushi here is the best in Chittenden county, if not all of Vermont. Everything else we have tried (crab rangoons, lo mein, won ton soup, fried rice) were excellent. It’s definitely one of our three favorite chinese restaurants in Chittenden county, along with Oriental Wok (Essex) and Yummy (Colchester).“
“Food: 10/10 Service: 8/10 Ambience: 8/10 We hit this place for lunch one day when staying in Burlington for our ski trip. Food, a HUGE menu of virtually every popular Asian noodle dish. Good luck choosing! As there is sooooo much, and from what we had, was soooo good. Two of us got the udon noodle soup lunch combo, $15 for a big bowl of udon soup AND a roll of sushi or gyoza, that's a deal!!! Other friend got the Pad Thai, also fantastic! Service, really nothing to complain about. Our waitress knew the menu very well and was able to make good suggestions. Our only very small complaint was it took a while for her to come back and check on us after our meal. Ambience, a small whole in the wall. NOT wheel chair accessible, as it's basically located in the basement of a building, with the only option of stairs. A VERY small and intimate space, maybe 6-7 tables total. Very modern and clean esthetic. Cost*** Very affordable, especially if you go with their combos. I highly recommend this place!“
“The pork lemongrass Bahn-mi Sandwich was very good. Vegetables were very fresh, pork was flavorful and the bread was great. Bigger than I expected. Could have a little more fillings to bread ratio but overall was very satisfied and would go back again. It was very clean and nice inside, no qualms with service.“
“We rely on Zen Gardens to make us a delicious take-out dinner when we're overwhelmed. Their food is so yummy we always order extra so we have lunch the next day. They are quick and responsive; there's rarely a long wait like there is at the pizza places. And the food is so much better! They offer both American Chinese food and the more traditional authentic dishes. What we love most is their full vegetarian menu. If you don't see it, ask. Their vegan options are absolutely fabulous. Fresh, tender, flavorful.Vegetarian options: Ginger "chicken" with green beans!!“
“I personally love that they take your order right away. If you go during peak hours of lunch or dinner the turn over for the food is pretty good. I also really like the weekend food options for Friday-Sunday. I've gone other days and didn't have a problem with the food. Just liked the other options offered only on weekends more. Never had an issue with the food.“
“Not sure why this place doesn't have better reviews. I've been coming here for almost 3 years as it's always a reliable spot to scratch that sushi and miso soup itch. Great local spot with reasonable prices and good food. The folks working have always been kind and respectful.“
“We stumbled across this very small restaurant when a nearby one was closed. It's a bit hidden in that the sign isn't easily read in the dark and the interior with just a few tables is plain though warmly welcoming. And what a wonderful experience! As others have written, flavorful delicious food with good service and very fair prices. We're from out of town and chose to eat here several times during our stay. The owner came by and we had a couple of nice chats. They were doing a steady take-out and delivery business during our meals. Highly recommend the food.“
