“We recently moved to the area and after trying most local restaurants, pioneer has made its way to the top of our list as a reliably good quality take out meal. We haven’t done in yet, but for what we have seen, that will also be a good experience ?Kid-friendliness: The chicken tenders are more like quality breaded cutlets. My 6 year old loves them but every kid may not.“

“Was so lucky to see a post about Sweet Alchemy on a Vegan FB page and then remembered it was near where we were wandering on Saturday. The whole menu was vegan. Got the Rainbow Bowl and the breakfast bowl. They were both amazing. Great flavor, so filling. Then we got the carrot cake cupcakes for dessert. OMG!!“

“Really happy with the first visit to Jericho Cafe and Tavern. The place has a really great vibe and the staff was super welcoming and friendly. We started with some tasty chicken wings and our dinners arrived quickly and were also very good. It was a weeknight, so we didn't get a chance to hear any of the live music but it looked like it would have been a ton of fun. Would definitely return!“

Mediterranean Mix Caterers • $$
1 Market Pl, Essex Junction - 9.29 miles

“Upon walking into the restaurant, the gentleman working greeted us kindly, and took our order at the register. It was mildly crowded, but our food came out swift and warm. The food was incredibly flavorful. The falafel on pita was a favorite, as well as the chicken pita. The French fries were delicious, with no excess grease whatsoever. They also had a wonderful selection of items from the Mediterranean area, including coffees, juices, teas, snacks, and condiments. I will definitely be returning.“

Bagel Café & Deli Cafe • $
1127 North Ave, Burlington - 11.33 miles

“We have stopped here several times with my kids and always had positive experiences. The bagels are delicious, coffee is very good too, and the staff is friendly and efficient, even though their order/payment system is not the most efficient as they combine online orders with walk in orders. Still, I love this place.Kid-friendliness: They have tables in the back with windows to the street so if you have kids, they can entertain themselves car and people watching, and your little runner can be easily cornered.“

“Our new favorite! Our son was diagnosed with Celiac this year and we were hesitant to eat out. Jules has been wonderful for our whole family (mom, dad, 5 year old and 18 months old). It is a little quieter atmosphere which made me nervous the first time we went but the staff and other patrons have always been so kind and welcoming to our kiddos and small amount of chaos they bring. The gluten free menu, including kids menu is excellent and the staff is knowledgeable. The desserts are a highlight (we are fans of the gluten free carrot cake). It has been terrific to go out as a family and have equal options for everyone, thank you!Dietary restrictions: Great Gluten Free options, knowledgeable about the restrictions and cross contamination risksKid-friendliness: So kind, last time we wrote letters to Santa and they had a special mailbox, well about a week later Santa had written back. My son was thrilled!“
