“Very good cappuccino and iced oat milk latte. The kouign amann was also good and there are a few gluten free options like smoothies. The space is big and comfortable, id prefer slightly quieter music with a more laid back energy but not picky, just have sensory issues. Would love to see a gluten free pastry or sandwich option.“
“4. Great cafe with a big menu for breakfast and lunch and lots of amazing looking baked goods. Friendly staff and big open space. The door kept being left open so it was really cold inside. My partner had the breakfast sandwhich which he said was really good but could have benefitted from bacon (not just bacon jam). I had the chickpea salad which was good but there were a number of wilted lettuce pieces which was kind of annoying. They make their chai in-house and it’s great. They only have one alternative milk (oat) and the only option for regular milk is whole milk. They use vegetable oil on their cooktop so not great if you have an allergy to soy.No vegan options in the baked goods section except for the bread which was yummy!Vegetarian options: Lots of options for vegetarians- not a ton if you’re vegan!“
“The Boardroom is such a fun place to go with friends and family! There are so many games to choose from, the atmosphere is great (the downstairs is like your grandma’s cozy basement), and the food is nostalgic of your childhood favorites. Highly recommend going as your next group outing!“
“Very cool coffeeshop right in front of the Co-op has great coffee and standout pastries - best croissant ? in Burlington so far - still have more to try. The building itself is a yuppie dream warehouse situation.Parking: Parking is tricky to get into because the access road right next to the coffeeshop is one way. Enter through the Howard center and there is another entrance in back.“
“I ordered the Miranda sandwich. The first bite was like getting blasted by a flavor cannon. What did I just experience? Various shades of crunchy, chewy, salty, sour, sweet, saucy, crisp. All in one place, shining independently but also pulling together as a team. Was that celery? I didn't even look at the ingredient list. I'd like to continue basking in the mystery. 5 stars“
“In a city (town) full of excellent cafes, Kestrel still manages to stand out. A big part of that is thanks to Rachel, who single handedly provides the baked goods. Or should I say baked GREATS! Folks, you cannot beat an expertly crafted caffeinated beverage paired with an out of this world scone/cookie/muffin. I recommend the denizen with a breakfast sammie (that homemade biscuit, though!)“
“My wife and I visit Brio every time we visit Vermont which is as often as possible. This past October we visited before spending a day in Burlington. My wife who is not a big coffee drinker had a Calypso espresso while I a big coffee drinker went with the single origin Ethiopia Shantawene. Fast forward 4 months and I am still dreaming about that single origin espresso. I roast my own coffee at home and drink a ton of espresso and I still have not been able to recreate anything like that experience. Brio is one of the best in the business and I 100% recommend stopping while you are in the Burlington area. I hope some day to be able to pull a shot of my own coffee that can re create that experience over again. Thanks for everything you do!“
“Best in the neighborhood! Friendly staff, excellent latte and baked goods....morning muffin, ham and cheese croissant or homemade granola..its all good. Small, quaint coffee shop vibe, can get a little cramped when it's busy. Worth it♡“
“By walking by I thought this was only a walkup Creemee location because the line was always long. This store has so much more to offer once you step inside! I would recommend anything on the menu with local maple syrup. The staff were friendly thoughtful and helpful. A bonus of great sunset seating here as well!♡“
“I had to do a stop over for breakfast and found this cute shop. The lady at the counter was so courteous and assist me in ordering the perfect sandwich.. I had the grilled self made roast beef sandwich. All the workers there were so nice.. I will definitely becoming back... love my coffee needed it bad.“
“This place is wonderful!! My husband and I got two sausage, egg, and cheese on their house made English muffins. This is one of the better simple breakfast sandwiches either of us have ever had. Their iced coffee is also delicious - can’t wait to try the coconut and maple donuts that we snagged for a snack later today! If you find yourself in Burlington, be sure to find yourself at Nunyun’s!“
“One of the best coffee shops I've ever been too, even after years of living in Brooklyn. They take their time with each order, and you can tell they prioritize making a good quality coffee over mass producing as many coffees as possible. They also have different drinkware when you dine-in, which is a really nice touch as most places still give you the same plastic cup either way. I cannot recommend this place enough.“
“I enjoy working from here and the pastries and espresso drinks are great, but I had a cup of the drip coffee today for the first time and it was way too caffeinated I feel really sick from it. I didn't realize while I was drinking it just how strong it was but this feels dangerous that I'm this wired and jittery from just one cup after 6 hours when I normally have a pretty high tolerance for caffeine. If you have any kind of health issues or caffeine sensitivities be careful!“
“4.4.Great spot in Burlington. It’s kind of a French bistro meets American pub and gave me a New Orleans French Quarter vibe. Friendly service and knowledgeable staff. Great happy hour/special menu from 4-5pm daily. The steak frites was great- sauce was one the sweeter side. They are super accommodating of allergies, I went in with a dairy and soy allergy and they were knowledgeable about which dressings and sauces were safe and knew without being told that vegetable oil is unsafe.Really kind staff and accommodating of children.Big menu with something for everyone.Dietary restrictions: Accommodating and knowledgeable about dietary restrictions- they were easily able to provide options for both a dairy and soy allergy.Kid-friendliness: Had baby with us and they were super nice about it. They have high chairs available if needed.“
“Music forward spot that's eccentric in a good way. While the live bands were switching set-ups (4 bands were playing the night we were there), the DJ in the other connected room was jamming. You can float between the two separate spaces as you want, with bars in each. There is some seating, but it's mostly standing room with a definite college crowd...although that probably had to do with the bands that were playing while we were there which were VT alumni.“
“Carrier has a nice little corner on the way into Jake's ONE Market in Burlington's North End. The barista was friendly and answered our questions about the various beverages available. I had a single-origin drip coffee that was bright and delicious. My wife had the GOAT, which consisted of espresso, milk, caramel, and some sea salt. Something like this could have easily been too sweet or salty, but instead it was perfectly balanced. I wish I had purchased some of their roasted coffee to take home.“
“staff is very nice. they seem understaffed/very busy a lot of the times. I recommend, if you place an order for pick up, to come earlier than the time. Sometimes I come right on time, and its already cold, which if you get fries, they wont be the same after the microwave. it is understandable but that is just some feedback as room for growth. everything else, im happy with and come here quite often.Parking: on weekdays, it can be quite easy to find parking around lunchtime.Wheelchair accessibility: there is a lift inside the store. fully ADA business. kudos!“
“Every two or three weeks, for years now, I've gotten 2 lb of Italian roast whole bean coffee at speeder and earls. Although those helping me come and go as they graduate from college or move on to other jobs The young people who work in this coffee shop have always been very laid back and very helpful. The atmosphere in the coffee shop is the same, laid back and inviting. The Italian roast is fabulous. I'm getting ready to go spend 3 months down south to get out of Vermont's winter and one of the things that I know I will not enjoy about being in Augusta Georgia is that nobody, and over the last 3 years I've tried a bunch of them, has Italian roast to match the Italian roast at speeder and earls.“
“Came here twice over Indigenous Peoples Day weekend and loved it. Coffee was top notch. Great donuts. They’re practically giving away the breakfast sandwiches, which were awesome. The guy working the counter was really nice and gave good service too. Will definitely go back next time I’m in town.“
“i cannot believe this place exists! for YEARS, i completely cut out the idea of going out for breakfast, as there are always little to no vegan breakfast options at restaurants. but this place has anything and everything i could ever want, AND MORE! i will definitely stop at this place every time i visit“
