Maybe it’s because I was hungry after waiting for the total solar eclipse all morning and 100 miles from my hotel while watching the 3 hour traffic jam in downtown Montpelier clear, but this was the best pizza I’ve ever had. The crust was light, a little chewy, and bready - how God intended. Really pleasant staff too!Kid-friendliness: Kids will love the cheese pizza. Drink options are somewhat limited.
This place was great. The pizza was really good. Just the right amount of everything on the mushroom pizza and the margherita and they do really well with the crust. It was quick and the staff were so friendly and kund despite having probably just worked the busiest weekend of their lives. Eclipse weekend! Will definitely come back if in the area!

Penzo is a small pizza restaurant in the Inn at Montpelier. The dining area is in the front end of the Inn and has a nice cozy feel. We have been three times since moving to the area a month ago. Obviously we love it since we have been so many times already!We have had salads, pizzas, and the mushrooms appetizer. All have been great. Can't wait to try the spaghetti and meatballs!
