“This is a great burger place! Go in grab a burger and drink. Don't forget to play a game of pool while you're at it. They have daily specials. Tonight's was a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich that was delicious!!! The staff are all super friendly and the vibe is chill.”
“Best reuben ever. Granddaughters and I had a very enjoyable dinner. They had items on the menu for even the fussiest of eaters. Don't forget to get the strawberry shortcake !!!”
“Haven't ordered a tape out pizza in a long time. decided to go to Paul's. Pizza was excellent. Service was super friendly. Price was normal for a one topping large pizza. We will be back!”
“Ever since Edward’s Market closed, we have been missing good pizza in Granville. Tommy’s place is our new favorite, so similar to Edward’s Market style of pizza. The BBQ chicken is our go-to choice. Yummy!”
“Really good beer, sandwiches and super staff. They make stouts, porters, pilsners and Scottish Ale and IPA.Not an IPA fan so I love the choices.Too many Vermont establishments are 80% IPAs..not for me. I love this place!”
“I’m a local (literally right over the hill) and had breakfast here when we visited before we moved out this way…. And it was great!! I do need to ask to revisit the gravy recipe and go back to a sausage and smoother blend… Lately it’s been VERY strong with flour and very little flavor, not to mention made with ground beef more so than ground sausage. Bump your prices $1 and get back to the quality we have come to know from your wonderful restaurant. I have also noticed the portions have been suffering the effects of Shrink-flation lately as well. Let’s take the winter break and hit the reset button. We look forward to it!”
“We stopped in for a late breakfast with some family who is local to the area and highly recommended Pine Grove. After experiencing for ourselves it’s easy to see why. The cozy log cabin atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast is worth writing home about! The pancakes and omelets are particularly delicious. The little bear and big bear breakfast specials also seem like a real steal for the price. What really sets the apart from other diners I’ve visited however is their well crafted smaller menu that still fits in all the lovable classics. If you’ve ever been to a mediocre dinner with an 8+ page menu full of frozen food you’ll know what I mean. Pine Grove truly puts those places to shame. The quality of their breakfast speaks for itself and as a patron, you can see and appreciate the care they put into the execution of the menu. We’ll absolutely be back next time we’re in the area!Kid-friendliness: Has kids menu and child friendly food available.”
“We met up with friends to listen Whiskey River Band play. We had amazing time. We order wings & pizza everything was so good. Beer & cinder was great. Service was awesome! We will definitely be back ! Thank you for amazing time !”
“Nothing says "I LoVermont" like a little country store in a little village in the coziest state in the Union. Wells Country Store is just plain and simple. You walk in and you are greeted by a nice wooden ambiance, simple counter for orders, some tables to sit, and some shelves of various goods. Not much quantity but plenty of variety (given the small local population), and maple is of course well represented. My friend thoroughly enjoyed his sandwich, all made to order from a surprisingly wide variety. I had a spinach/feta pastry, raspberry muffin, and brownie - okay, not the healthiest, but I wanted to just grab quick food and nosh. * The pastry was surprisingly sweet, something I've never experienced before with spinach. Not big, but very reasonable price so you can always get two. * The muffin was huge and crumbly and full of fruit. There were some blue bits so it may have been mislabeled, but there was definitely copious raspberry. * The brownie? 5 stars automatically for any place that can make something THAT dark and deep in chocolate flavor, THAT rich in every bite. So much brownie for your buck, and the flavor is simply out of this world. If you're a chocolate lover, you love Wells Country Store. * The server was a bit quiet. Came forward if summoned, but not up front like service in most states. Very laid back, which is VermonTypical, so I went with it. * Shelf products not all priced, but my goodness, I selected a four-pack of maple porter and it rang up for $7.99. That's like half the price I expected. Overall impression: I would normally have waffled between 4 and 5 stars. It was close, but two deciding factors: location in such a wonderful town, in such a wonderful state, in such a quintessential manner; and that brownie. The brownie negates anything that seemed a little awkward here. Come here, eat dessert, and maybe eat and buy a plethora of other things while you're at it.”
“Dined at the Fair Haven in with my sister who was visiting from out of state and my husband. I have eaten at Fair Haven Inn many times, but tonight I wanted to write a review because the meal was just perfect. Everything was tasty, fresh, and beautifully presented. For a fine dining experience, it was excellent. As a restaurant owner myself, I know the effort it takes to put out great meals and to provide an enjoyable experience to customers. It's been hard for all restaurants to get through the past few years, and I commend the Fair Haven Inn for bouncing back from the pandemic and doing a great job. We'll be back and wish the Fair Haven Inn many years of future success.”
“CRock Nutrition is worth the drive! Their teas & shakes are top-notch, and the service is exceptional. The staff always go above and beyond, preparing plenty of dry teas for me to enjoy making at home to have for work for the week. What sets them apart is their willingness to accommodate my preferences, ensuring I get the flavors I love every time. Very happy customer!”
“Im not sure what we were expecting but lunch blew us out of the water. Pretzel and beer cheese was rediculous, never have i had a pretzel deep fried, basket of fries was hand cut and seasoned. Wife got whiskey burger sweet potatoe fries with melba, i got the cidarhouse burger with apples and bacon jam, kid got grilled cheese, everyone of them topped our expectations 10 fold. 2 rounds of drinks, 2 appetizers and 3 meals and it was only 70 bucks. Id expect this meal in downtown saratoga and i'd expect to pay triple, Great food, great service, rediculous value.”
“Food was really good and made fast. Got a general tso combo and a sesame chicken combo and with tasted great! I've been here quite a few times and the great food has me coming back! General tso if you like some spice. Sesame chicken if you'd like something a little sweeter without the spice.”
“One of the best places to eat in the area! Always great food, excellent service, reasonable prices and always busy too! ??Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids and they have a kids menu too!”
“I am a lover of carbohydrates! Bomo diner has the best texture and size pancakes of anywhere eve, no upcharge for maple syrup and the syrup tastes just like Greens. maybe it is IDK! Burgers are amazing and I'm THE pickiest burger eater! They don't turn you away at 1:40 to close at 2, we openly pray and don't feel discouraged, there is so much to say. We love it here. Try it out!”
“A great place to go on Granville. The menu is simple and good. The icecream is 5?The service people are excellent, polite and friendlyThey treat my dog who I always have with me very kindlyStop in.”
“Warm hometown feeling (even though we're seasonal visitors to the Lake) as it's decorated with awesome photos of the local youth from surrounding towns along with beautiful model ships that my daughter loved. Very friendly patrons there (hometown feel), welcoming staff, including the cooks peeking out to see how things were going and to say hi. Starter salads were fresh and tastey, amazing warm rolls served (I wanted 5 more ?), and I went with the oven baked haddock, which was a delightful dish and my first time having that fish. My wife enjoyed a very nice helping of oven fried shrimp with linguine. All and all, it was better than I was expecting and definitely worth checking out and supporting local.(And no, it's not a coffee shop)Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere to bring children.”
“Exactly what we needed after a day of skiing. Had the Vermonter pizza which was so good. The maple garlic butter was unreal. Also had the Ladka burger which hit the spot so hard. Fried pickles were nice and crispy. Full rack of ribs and poutine to top it all off and we were very happy after an active day. There was also a guitarist playing that Friday night who really contributed to the fun. He came over and played next to us and stopped to chat before the night was over. Awesome small town vibes.”
“Terrific coffee. I have not been to a DD in 15+ years since there are not any locations close to my home ? in Austin. Coffee was hot and smooth. Wish we had these stores all over TX. Also enjoyed the vanilla cream pastry.”
“The food was really good and the waitress and waiter we both very sweet and polite, I'd definitely come again and eat here. It's a nice diner and very ”
“Clean and quiet on the evening we went there, but looked like there was just one employee there. She was excellent and quick, though. Very clean, good service.”
“Never had the food because I wouldn't go there to eat. We go to drink beer and make friends with the yokels. We have a house down the street but mainly live in MA so we stop in when we are in town. "Cheers" vibes, pool table, clean and they have pull tabs which is the VT version of Keno. Never had a poor experience.”
“Really great pizza. I ordered a large Mushroom.pizza.Fresh mushrooms(not canned), really great crust, dough is homemade and really good,Sauce had authentic taste and cheese is fresh .very happy to have this in my new neighborhood. Great service, cooked perfectly. My new go too pizzaVegetarian options: I got a mushroom pizza. Lots of veggie topping options.”
“Best BLT and I eat a lot of them. May sound strange but perfect ratio of BLT and mayo perfect toast ? Everyone else food was very good, and he’s a bit fussy ???”
“What a gem! I stop by every time I visit the area. They have carefully selected Vermont draft beers (had Lawson's Sip of Sunshine on this visit!), a very cool bar, awesome vibe, and great staff. Definitely check this place out.”
“We have stopped to eat here over 5 times and each visit was spectacular. The food is fresh. The fries are amazing. The staff were attentive and friendly, even under pressure. People need to realize that this is a college town, and the staff get overwhelmed with students frequently. That said, they handle it extremely well and get food out very quickly. The place has always been clean and well stocked. Keep up the good work! ??”
“I grew up eating grinders from this place. Absolutely phenomenal quality with one of a kind homemade rolls made in house. Owners are so kind and the pizza, and pasta tastes like it's straight from Italy. I still make the 3 hour drive at least twice a month to get some food from this establishment. Good priced too. Highly highly recommend”
“Took my 4-year-old daughter to the diner tonight where she was upset to discover the bounce house (that was there last time we visited in November) was gone. The owner saw her crying and asked if she was okay. After we told him that she was hoping for the bounce house, he started moving unused tables around to set it up for her! It was well beyond the call of duty and it made her night so much better.”
