“It was just two of us and we got one small maple creemee to share. Having never had one before, this one was delicious. The portions are good for the price, $6 for a small was reasonable because it was a lot. Kind service and a not crowded at all (we went on a Tuesday). The inside was cute, too!“

Maple Ice Cream

“Yet another ice cream shop here in downtown Hanover - but a decent one at that. It's located right outside the Nugget Theatre and offers just over a dozen flavors of "hard" ice cream, as well as soft-serve ice cream that Vermonters call "creemees" thanks to its airiness, higher-than-usual fat, and use of maple flavor. Prices aren't exactly cheap, at $5.95 for a small, $7.95 for a medium, and $9.95 for a large, but, helpfully, you can split a small into two flavors. So the black raspberry and blueberry crumble were just perfect on a muggy summer day. Nicely rich, dense, and creamy, with nice bits of fruit. As for the larger sizes, try splitting them with a family member or friend, especially if you can sample even more flavors as a result.Service was patient and explanatory, and although there isn't much room to sit inside, there's plenty of room outside along the ramps, benches, and ledges leading up to the Nugget.Pro tip: you don't need to shove your food and drink into the photo - or massage, fondle, or molest it - with your bare, moist, wrinkly hands and dirty fingernails. You also don't need to call attention away from the food with pointless "action" shots. Keep all body parts, plaque-laced bite marks, and distracting backgrounds out of the photo. Focus solely on the food and drink itself. #stayclassy #stayuseful #noyouarenotanarteeste“
