First time I stopped here was 1972. Took a break from the Appalachian trail to shower, stock up, and yes.... have a few beers. (still have the CJ's t-shirt). I always make it a point to stop here on my somewhat regular visits to Killington and friends that I made all those years ago.
Emily the bartender is good she is a one man show here maybe cause of covid or cause of the Lil town bar she is working in might have been a hopping place back in the day. But I'm here on the wrong night but that is cause it's Monday. The service was good an she was active an responsive.

I expected an average local spot in Rutland but was pleasantly surprised when I found this place. Food and drinks are affordable and tasty, music is awesome (jukebox helps), and the environment is more than comfortable. I will definitely come back on my next ski trip.
