“I love the food and the people here! Best Indian food I've had in Vermont in 25 years. I live in Montpelier and go out of my way to get food here, and generally bring some home for a friend of mine if she cannot make it. Highly recommend.“
“As not one for Indian foods, this place surprised me! The food was some of the best in the area, and not even limited to just Indian cuisine. The love poured into each dish shines through as does the warmth and welcoming personalities of the family who run the place (from North India directly). I loved everything from the Spicy Noodle Samosas, to the Garlic Naan, and the Kadhi Pakoda. Nothing was less than perfect. The desserts were stellar too, we had the Mango Kulfi and the Coconut Cham-Cham, both of which were balanced perfectly. Thank you to everyone who made this place a reality, they have won me over and I know they will win you too!“
“I moved to Vermont from Los Angeles which had at the time had the best indian food i had ever had and I am constantly amazed by how the food here is even better. Everything is amazing, top notch, super fresh ingredients and absolutely perfect execution. We are so lucky to have this restaurant in our neighborhood and I can't wait to order from them again. Thank you thank you!“
“This food was so good and they were able to accommodate my requests for gluten-free and dairy-free food. The dishes smelled incredible and I was delighted that they tasted even better! Spice level, salt level, and the whole bouquet of flavors was all very impressive and great.Delight is a great name for this place! Highly recommend.“
“My favorite place in the entire Shelburne/Burlington area! The food is not only beautiful but taste amazing too! I am so glad a coworker told me about Namaste because I will now travel 45 miles just to eat here. I can see and taste that this family owned restaurant has a true passion for the food they serve. I am super grateful for this place. ❤️ Thank you!“
“I’ve had many different dishes here, all have been excellent. My favorites are the hot garlic chicken (appetizer) and the paneer tika masala (main). The roti is very good. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and very convenient location with surrounding attractions.“
“We stumbled across this very small restaurant when a nearby one was closed. It's a bit hidden in that the sign isn't easily read in the dark and the interior with just a few tables is plain though warmly welcoming. And what a wonderful experience! As others have written, flavorful delicious food with good service and very fair prices. We're from out of town and chose to eat here several times during our stay. The owner came by and we had a couple of nice chats. They were doing a steady take-out and delivery business during our meals. Highly recommend the food.“
“Everything I have ever gotten from here has been ? Great portions and vegetarian options and easily one of the best delivery options around south Burlington/shelburne too. I usually go for the curry dishes because they have such good flavor here, but they have plenty of other options too. I like the Aloo Gobi Matar a lot, as well as the Samosa Chat, and the Dal Tadka soup slaps as well. Just got the tofu chili in my most recent order and it did not disappoint. If you are unfamiliar with ordering from places that do spicy foods, I recommend starting with mild because medium can be very spicy for some people. If you do like a little spice ask for in between mild and medium.“

“Excellent service. The chef/crew working this restaurant really put in the authentic touch to the food and the service.Great selections on the menu. The dessert is delightful (Kheer). Highly recommend. The goat selection is delightfully delish ?Vermonts only Nepali/Indian restaurant that we recommend 100%.“
“Extremely well done north Indian and Himalayan cuisine. I've eaten at many Indian and Himalayan restaurants over decades and this place rates very highly. The butter chicken was heavenly, succulent, superbly spiced; lamb biryani perfect, super delicious; excellent dal and very well prepared chicken tandoori. Also noteworthy was their chutney; very fine, tangy and a perfect complement to the main dishes. Reasonable, good sized portions. Definitely worth eating here, we will definitely be back. Can't say about service as we got ours to take out, but it was ready on time. The ambiance may not be the Plaza Hotel but it certainly is nice enough. Cheers!“
