Cute shop with lots of flavors and good variety for dairy free folks. Seems to be family owned and operated. The folks behind the counter were friendly, attentive, and welcomingDietary restrictions: Dairy free

Maple creemee too artificial tasting. I believe it’s real maple, but just way too much sugar. Creemees should be subtle.

This is the second time that I’ve ever tried to go here and both times they closed 30 minutes early. Update your times or be better.

How is it closed on a Friday and Saturday during peak ski season with staff shortage? All the restaurants and bars have staff…I will work here for an hour to get a maple creamee

Out of all the maple soft serve ice cream we ate (creemee) this was the best one.

Got the mousse and the maple ice cream, the mousse wasn’t that great but the maple icecream was so incredibly smooth and tasted amazing highly recommend!

Red Barn ice cream is a unique place since they have custom and seasonal ice cream flavours made with locally sourced ingredients from Vermont. In fall, they sell a maple soft serve which is a must try! They also sell goods from local farms such as maple cookies, maple syrup, jellies, salsa verde etc. Purchasing from Red Barn is the true essence of supporting local businesses :)

Not bad of a location. Very limited selection to choose from. And don’t bother asking to taste because they will tell you they don’t have tasting spoons but have spoon when you buy a scoop. Very rude service also. Looking at reviews it doesn’t look like they want to change either.

We were excited to get some ice cream but the service was not great. The ladies working there were not nice. Pretty disappointed.

No high chair, unacceptable. At least 1, it's like $30 to avoid the liability of a kid falling off the chair and running out.Nice wooden sculptures outside.Decent ice cream.

The service was so wonderful; I am glad I stumbled upon this ice cream shop while shopping around in Stowe! Inside is a sweet tooth's dream with treats lining the walls and tons of ice cream flavors to choose from! The server kindly let me sample the ice cream as I tried to decide what I wanted - I chose the black raspberry ice cream, which was so creamy and delicious! My friends tried their popsicles and milkshakes and loved those options as well. They have more fun Vermont flavors like maple syrup that I will have to try next time!

Wow this place is so cute and right by the Stowe trail. Very well priced and ice cream is so good! The stuff was very nice and service was quick. It is our go to when we walk this path.

High priced compared to Indiana but it is a resort town. Limited flavors. Good service and a smile

I got the maple ice cream and it was very good. I believe my partner got sweet cream. The texture and consistency were really good. Delicous and creamy. Not sure what the deal was with the service though. There was a family of 4 in front of us with 3 workers there, and it took quite a long time to get their ice cream for some reason. We looked around the candies and other stuff for about 5 minutes and then waited for about another 10 to 12 minutes while they were still serving the family. Then a large group of about 9 people came in around that time behind us, and they tried to serve them before my partner and I, despite us already waiting in line this whole time. Thankfully, the lady in the group let them know we were in line first already and let us get ours first. Ice cream was great but service was questionable.
