“Delicious sandwiches, diverse options for hot and cold. I got a BLTTA (turkey club with avocado), and the veggies were fresh, there was a good amount of crispy bacon, and enough mayo/avocado so it wasn't dry at all. Honestly one of the best versions of this classic I've had. I sampled the Vermont press and that was excellent too! Will definitely stop by again when grabbing lunch around here.“
“The Skinny Pancake is right up there with being one of the best breakfast spots in Stowe! I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out, specifically if you love crêpes: that’s what this restaurant is known for! We have been here multiple times (and other locations) and have always been very happy with our meal. You just order at the counter and the food comes out very fast - it’s perfect if you’re just wanting a quick breakfast before you head out for the day and explore Stowe/Smuggs/Waterbury or beyond! It really doesn’t matter if you choose a sweet or savory crêpe - we’ve had both and they’re always excellent. And they even have gluten-free crêpes as well, which is awesome! Our favorites are the Hot Apple Crumble, Blueberry Pie, Lovemaker (add strawberries as well), Johnny Crepe, K-Pop, and Apple and Brie! All in all, fantastic little restaurant, and one you definitely need on your list next time you’re in Stowe!“
“Delicious seafood at the Tipsy Trout! Super yummy crab cake sliders to start! I also loved their scallops and lobster roll! I really enjoyed their refreshing cocktails, too! I was disappointed in their lack of seating accommodation. The restaurant was practically empty, and we requested a small booth for two. They said they were unavailable and then sat us at a loose screw table that became obnoxious really fast. The waiter was kind enough to adjust the table, placing a napkin underneath. It was aggravating to be dining for almost an hour and a half while seeing several booths remain empty the entire time! Great food, poor management up front.“
“Moog's Place was able to accommodate our large table of 8 on a whim during a very busy holiday week. Our waitress was great. The food and beer selection were both sophisticated and casual. High quality food all around. It was also 'live mike' night which made for a fun atmosphere. Would definitely return next time we're in town to ski.“
“I always saw the sign driving past it everyday but today I finally decided to stop and give it a try and was pleasantly surprised! Not only were the portions great but the noodles and sauce itself were flavorful and delicious. As a vegetarian I appreciated the fact it came with more than just the typical onions and red bell peppers with zucchini and sprouts also. Overall 8.5/10, will definitely be adding as place to have filling lunch or dinner in the future!“
“This is definitely more of a restaurant than a brewery. It was pretty hard to order a drink if you weren’t already seated at one of the bars or a table. Unfortunately, we were told by the host the wait was only 20 minutes, while after I gave my name and number the text said 45 minutes, and the actual wait was an hour. While we still probably would have waited, a more accurate estimate would have been appreciated so we could have decided. We spent out hour wait by one of the fire pites, which was enjoyable. We were eventually seated inside, where we received good service. The server suggested the $5 Pilsner and it was a solid beer. We shared the cheddar fritters and the dry rub wings. The cheddar fritters were really good, while the wings had this weird, sweet dry rub. I wish that was described on the menu, but the wings were cooked perfectly. I had the pulled pork sandwich that I enjoyed, while my friend ordered one of the burgers rare, but it came out medium to medium well (which seems to be the standard for restaurants in Stowe.) we didn’t have dessert, but the options looked good. Our experience was still generally good here even with the overcooked burger, and I would recommend coming here to eat.“
