I'm rating this a one star. This was our first time here. Nicholas R was our sever. As we where ordering, he appeared to be annoyed we where asking questions about the menu. I ordered a Beef Pad Thai with 4 level spice. Every where I go I order a spice (4) as I like spicy foods. When my cousin got his meal it tasted completely burnt. Like a burnt dish taste. We asked Nicholas if there was any way they can remake it. And his response was very dismissive and staunched. We where very polite, explaining it just had a burnt taste to it. They then brought my food out as I ordered the Pad Thai and could not eat it because it was no where near a 4. It tasted like it was a 10! Again, I order 4 every other Pad Thai. The people next to us ordered a spice one, as he claimed the 1 was extremely spicy for him. The other person we where with ordered curry, which was good. We felt bad already complaining about the burnt taste in the rice. When I told our server Nicholas R about the spice level and would of been nice if he would have warned us, or suggested about their spices. Mid conversation he walked away from our table as I was still talking to him. I mentioned to another server that passed and she stated there are signs everywhere! I asked her where are the signs at?! And she pointed to the table with a maybe 2/4 small sign saying their spice level. Again I'm a spice lover, and order a 4 every other place. They then charged us extra on pad Thai. As it says 17 dollars, and added additional 2 dollars for beef it said. However, on the menu it doesn't say extra for choice of meat. The service was extremely horrible and I wouldn't recommend going here. Extremely rude service! And took 2 bites of my Pad Thai. It's common sense if the spices are "extra" at this location, servers should explain and actually engage with customers, instead of being completely dismissive and rude.

My friend and I drove to Airway Heights to try out Sala Thai. This restaurant wasn't on our original list of places to try, but when I saw them post one of their dishes on Facebook, I immediately sent it to my friend and we both agreed we were going there next! Next happened to be last night. What we ordered was what they call "Happy Boat" with Salmon, Shrimp, and Scallops (extra shrimp for my friend and no scallops). Let me say that it was sensational and we were both very happy we were able to try it. It does come with a side of jasmine rice (not pictured). The service was great and they even offered my friend a Diet Coke to go when we were getting ready to leave. Restaurant was clean, even the restrooms. They do close fairly early though, which does make it difficult for those that like to dine later (7:30 Tuesday thru Saturday) and are closed Sundays and Mondays.

This was our first time eating at Sala Thai Restaurant, and we really enjoyed eating there. My son recommended it because it's his favorite Thai restaurant in the Spokane area. We loved the pad see ew, the beef soup and the fried rice. They also serve a hot cup of delicious chicken and rice soup for starters. The atmosphere was friendly and warm.

Order to pick up. Pad see ew beef was burnt, pineapple chicken was way too sweet. It was sweet n sour chicken with pineapple added to it. Curry soup was filled with sugar no spice and overcooked tofu. I was looking forward to good Asian but it was not it. Way too expensive for poor service of

Minty Feels Nice Nice

I've never in my life seen a restaurant where one table gets chocolates with their bill and another table gets rather icky, chewy rolled candy. When I asked the waiter about that he said the chocolates were from his private stash... well, I think my tip is from my private stash as well! So I say to all waiters... Go ahead, be judgemental! How many times is that going to cost you $6? If it is once, it's ten times!

BEWARE of their spice!! I ordered Tom Kha coconut soup to go for dinner tonight and order 3 out of 5 spice. I was only able to take a few bites and threw the rest away. Their servers should warn customers about spice level. My lips are still burning. BEWARE!!

I love their dining room. It's spacious and has a classy feel. I love the food and enjoy ordering my lunches from here. If you ask you can get dinner items as well. I love their masaman curry.Be aware, though. Make sure you believe their spice warning. Zero and one are significantly different.Parking: It's popular, so come earlier for better parking.

We haven't been anywhere else for about a month and a half since our car accident. This was the first place we visited to get out of the house. The food is always great and the staff and owners are very friendly.Try the curry, you won't regret it! If you're brave, ramp up the heat! The fried rice platter is huge and is so yummy!Don't forget the iced Thai coffee!

Pad Thai is great & they serve a lot! The sumi crispy chicken is delicious & they serve a lot! The only issue is sometimes their hours are unpredictable.

Never could get anyone to come to me. No host at the door, so sat down at a table. Neither server acknowledged me at all and even sat additional people. Kind of ridiculous. Truly unfortunate, because it seems like the food could be good. But I will never know. When someone finally did come to me, she had the reaction to me already being seated. At that point I was done. I see other great reviews and obviously mine will one of the few negative ones, but common courtesy should not be lost, no matter what part of the country you’re in.
