“Fresh (and a bit too much :P ) pancakes and omelettes for a Saturday morning breakfast. Obviously we could not finish each of our orders. Plan for a to-go early. Fresh coffee and decent service -they do get too busy so plan for some elongated stay.“
“Oh my god, the cornbread! You get a huge slice of cake-like bread, and it’s topped with what looks and tastes like butter-cream frosting. I had steak and eggs, and the steak was as cooked perfectly. The hash browns were normal, but I tried some of my daughter’s country potatoes and they were just right.“
“A neighbourhood diner-style restaurant in Burien, a few minutes away from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Came here on a weekday morning for dinner breakfast and there was no wait to be seated. Good variety of food items on the menu and prices are pretty reasonable. Service was attentive. Lots of seating inside and free parking outside (shared with other businesses).“
“We were visiting from AZ and stayed at a nearby hotel. We spent most of our day sightseeing and beat from walking on our first day that we forgot to grab dinner. We didn’t want to order take-out. We walked to IHOP and were met by friendly staff. We had steak tips and salmon with side dishes. I have intense GI issues and was worried about how I would handle the food. I had 0 issues. I was so impressed, that my wife and I decided to have dinner at IHOP for the remainder of our stay. Very clean establishment.“
“First time customer, liked that offered breakfast all day! Friendly staff and our server was great! Went there around noon after fasting for health appointment in am. Had Eggs Bennie with their home fries. They do have cocktails available. All in all good service, more of old diner feel, felt food was good.Parking: Large parking area as there are multiple businesses in building.“
“There are many places to eat that serve good food in Federal Way. The Village Inn does way better than just that. They consistently serve great food from a great menu with outstanding staff. The owner (he is way cool) is often there making his guests feel very special and appreciated. My wife and I have eaten there for years before her Barbershop rehearsals. We always enjoy the background music selections played on the best restaurant sound system in the city. This is a safe place to entertain your family and to have business meetings over breakfast, lunch or dinner. And the price is right!Parking: You can park right by the front door in their paved, flat, well lighted, easy to negotiate lot. I feel more secure in their lot than in many other lots.Kid-friendliness: There is plenty of room for kids and a selection of kid friendly food. We have 23 grandkids, so we especially like the reasonable prices. If you don't like kids (sucks to be you) then there are plenty of tables to get away from the happiness that kids bring.Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot is wheelchair friendly and the isles in the restaurant are plenty wide at both the tables and the booths.“
“I love biscuits and gravy so was excited try this place hoping it would become my favorite go to when the craving hit. The food was good but I was VERY disappointed when my plate came and it was package gravy. I verified package gravy with staff before writing this review just to make sure my tastes were correct. My boyfriend tried the huevos rancheros and wasn't impressed. It wasn't bad but wasn't anything to write home about. However the service was excellent. The waitress we had was very attentive and pleasant even though they were really busy.“
“I was staying at a hotel nearby, and walked here for a late-night dinner. I walked in and ordered a Bourbon Bacon Jam Eggs Benedict to go. The hostess brought out the meal in about 10 minutes, and I took it back to my hotel. It was very yummy, it hit the spot!Parking: I walked here, but there was plenty of parking.“
“Very clean and well-kept location. You can learn everything about a restaurant from its salt and pepper shakers. If they are sticky, you might as well leave. Half full, expect half-hearted service. Salt shakers are a predictive measure of cleanliness and attention to detail on the surface, but often those correlate with job satisfaction, fairness of wages, and how the business is run overall. Care begets care. The food was really good. I had a poblana omelet that was cooked perfect, it had tons of meat in it; the veggies seemed fresh. Was able to sub crepes as the side, and they were great, too. I didn't expect such fresh food and quality ingredients from a chain if I am being honest. Food came out piping hot, fast, and seemed to be made with great care - big thanks to the entire kitchen staff. Our server Marisel was incredible. She was friendly, professional, and efficient in her actions. We were a group of five and all of the orders were perfect and came out quickly, she brought the hot sauce requested right away, cleared plates, and dropped check & ran the card at the right time.My partner and I have 4 decades of service between us and we always appreciate service that exceeds expectations. Marisel provided 5 star service at breakfast with a pretty full restaurant to boot - great job. Thank you.“
“Our family loves this place. It is under new management so a lot has changed. No toy room for the kids anymore so that was very disappointing for them, but the food is good and it is about the only place all four of us can eat for around $50. The staff is very friendly ?“
