“This is the best sushi Restaurant in Battle Ground. The food and service is unmatched by others. The Owner and staff here are super friendly and helpful. If you have kids, their outdoor patio is great for family get together.”

“I met a friend for dinner at the Pita House this evening and we had a GREAT experience! The owner/ staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and went over and above to ensure we had a great meal (an 11/ 10 for sure!!) The food was plentiful and delicious. I had the Pita House Special with chicken, and it was oh so good!!!! We even received a complimentary piece of baklava! I really cannot say enough good things about this place...I will definitely be back. Thank you!!”

“Stopped by here after Taekwondo one evening and we were not disappointed! My daughter and I loved the atmosphere, the service, and most importantly the food. We got our food to-go and it did not compromise the flavor or texture of anything at all. The side dishes of the Japchae, Kimchi, and Corn Slaw went so well with the main dishes. I cannot wait to come back for more of the chicken, and to try the rest of the menu!”

“I was looking for gourmet pizza for my Christmas party. So I ventured to Detroit Pizza from Vancouver. I ordered an individual pepperoni and sausage just to try it. Even in that smaller size I could completely tell that the quality, from a usual crust full of flavor to fresh amazing cheese and topics, is exceptional!! Plus for my party they’ll provide U-bake pizzas!! I get to choose my done time for the party!! Can’t wait! You gotta try it!”

“Food was good. My tea was excellent however the young woman in the front never smiled and barely talked, no personality. The place is clean but the dead plant and the unkept front yard make this place not look very appealing. Could be really cute. Kind of sad because it wouldn’t take much work to clean it up. Owned a business for 27 years and I’d find a different position for your front girl and hire someone who is friendly. People come in for return business when they feel welcome.”

“Love, Love Dev’s.. However, the baristas really need to listen and pay attention when customers order. My sister and I went there yesterday and she got a sugar free iced latte, drank it and called me to tell me her blood sugar was over 400!! IT WASN’T SUGAR FREE.. She had to give herself an insulin shot. We like to go to Dev’s because it’s different and great coffee but, this one was kind of a bad one.”

“I had the pumpkin pie latte which was a good balance of sweetness and fall spices. They were playing country music when we walked in and it switched to indie pop eventually. We were the only ones in the cafe which is attached to a European market grocery store. The inside was decorated for Christmas with sparky centerpieces on the tables and a Christmas tree in the corner. It was a quiet, cozy spot to relax with good coffee.”

“This place never disappoints! We’ve had a variety of drinks here and every one of the drinks were delicious! A bonus is definitely the online ordering, pick up is fast and easy! Only downside is the day the shop is closed is on a Tuesday, that’s an odd day to be closed. Maybe I’m salty as I sit here on a TUESDAY craving my usual and not being able to have it cause the shop is closed today! lol shop and employees are great!”

I had the chicken/hummus pita, which was delicious and the pita was soft, warm, and fresh. My husband, who is picky about his hamburgers, loved the one they serve here.”

“Battle Ground Black Rock Coffee Bar is a great place to hang out! I’ve gone there many times to meet friends for coffee. I also love to go there with my daughters. They always have service with a smile, and upbeat conversations. I’ve liked everything that I’ve tried there! My girls like to get the flavored Fuels! I like the Chillers! I love the modern rustic wood decor, there, too!

“The coffee was fine, no issues. I hate to be that girl, but they don't have pup cups as option (I'd even be willing to pay for it) so we probably won't come here again. My dog has high expectations now and she was sad she wasn't included. My drink came with whipped cream and I don't like whipped cream so I said no, but then when I asked for a pup cup she said they don't make them... which, in the context of whipped cream i technically paid for but didnt want on the drink, doesn't make sense.”

“We were sat right away, friendly service, the food took too long to come out after ordering even though there was a half full restaurant. Biscuits and gravy tasted sweet, the huevos rancheros red sauce was SO flavorful and tasted authentic. Delicious!”

“A big shout out to the young man who was overseeing the self check out terminals on 12/28/22 at around 7:45 pm. I forgot my extra cash at the terminal I used to check out. He tracked me down as I was going to my vehicle in the parking lot to give me my cash I forgot at the terminal. Thank you very much for looking out for your customers!!! “There are two of these close by but this is the only one that offers fried shrimp (made to order) which my whole family loves. The fried chicken, tenders, and mashed potatoes are better than KFC and Popeyes (in my opinion). I'm not usually a biscuit person but theirs seem to be cooked longer as they are considerably darker and drier than those offered at Space Age which are soft and crumbly.

Vegetarian options: Fries (may be fried in the same oil as meat items).

Parking: Available in front of the store and shared with Little Caesars and a PC repair shop. It can get a little crowded but you can park around the curb that lines the lot of necessary.

Kid-friendliness: This business is inside the Chevron.

“I’m really happy to have Playmakers in Ridgefield but our visit was a bit of a mess. Food took a long time to come out (over a half hour) and then they brought the wrong appetizer. Didn’t bring out the correct one until we were done eating and ready to leave. Then they charged us for the original wrongly put in appetizer that was more expensive which they didn’t notice until after we had already paid. They offer to credit our card back the difference but at that point we were just ready to leave. Also the $18 steak bites I bought were about 5-6 little dried out pieces of chewy meat. I took a picture because it looked so weird. But I’d still recommend Playmakers because it’s a great place to watch a game and they have a pretty varied menu. The staff was polite and a kept the refills coming during our long wait for food. We’ve been before and it hasn’t been so chaotic so hopefully our visit was just a fluke.”
