Great beer, incredible food, and great atmosphere (check that electric fireplace that was throwing off a lot of heat on a cold day).My friends and I really liked the tortillas chips for the chips and salsa. Such a small thing but had us questioning how they were made because they were so good. I also had the quesadillas which had a crispy cheese shell—delicious. Definitely would recommend Standard Brewing.“

“What a great experience. We waved to try some of Seattle's local brews, so we thought we'd head downtown. This was suggested by a couple of guys we met at Seattle brewing. Great choice it was. Staff was super friendly. Dominique, our waiter, was knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great time with an excellent view.“

Outer Planet Craft Brewing Brewery • $
1812 12th Ave #100, Seattle - 5.39 miles

“One of our friends described this very Seattle brewery perfectly: You see people playing D&D while the Seahawks are playing. Beers are brewed in house! We love playing games and hanging out here. Friendly staff and fantastic atmosphere. I mean, how can you beat hanging out, drinking and playing board games while watching sci-fi films / Seahawks games? Strangely to some, the most impressive aspect is the restroom setup. Gender neutral rooms with tampons/pads on hand for those who need them. For those who don't typically see this setup, it's kind of a big deal and helps this brewery stand out.“

“Chanced upon this brewery while exploring downtown Seattle. Getting a flight with six of the ten cider selections was a no-brainer. I have enjoyed both the all-year and seasonal ciders with Cinnful Cranberries and Oak Vanilla as two top favs. Would have stayed longer if they serve food 'cause a panini or some bar food would have paired perfectly.“

“Came here for a Christmas party with 25 girls and reserved the back room. Kind of hard to find the location since it's tucked away in a dark corner of a commercial building parking lot, but nice when you enter the establishment. Extremely nice and friendly staff who let us sample two beers/ciders before deciding which to get. Small, but great variety and seasonal options as well which is what we ordered and fully enjoyed. Clean establishment, bathrooms and ample free parking! I would stop back in here if I was in the area for sure!“

There was a food menu too (lots of options) but we were just here for the drinks. We had a group of 5. It was during the cold, snowy January 2024 weekend so it wasn't packed. We were seated right away. Service was friendly. Drinks were tasty. I'd definitely come back for a longer visit and try the food.“

“We stumbled into this amazing pub near UW - we walked around campus for the cherry blossom festivities. Afterwards stumbled onto this gem, its ambience purely pub like which reminded me of London pubs. There was ample seating; bar, indoor & outside patio with lights. They also have TV's for those sports fans. Street parking is available or UW garage- it's free on Sundays. This is a pub where you order at the bar & their friendly staffs delivers yummies to your table. We've had chicken wings which the batter was crispy and tasty seasoning on the chicken. Nachos came out fully loaded with all the yummy toppings. Pizza was delicious; Hot, crispy crust with generous toppings. Ofc we've also had their burgers (forgot to take pix) & surprisingly the meat was juicy & flavorful, came with pickles and salad or fries...Omg! Fries were so crispy! They were the perfect combination with beer; we had a pitcher plus side orders to try local IPA's- you won't be disappointed! When in UW, hope you get to stop by to enjoy their delicious food along with local beer Huskies. Bon appetite!“

“Me and my boyfriend absolutely love Elliot Bay. The beer is some of the best in seattle with the oatmeal stout being my favorite. It is easy to find good beer in seattle, but hard to find good beer and food which Elliot bay has. The chicken burger is one of my boyfriend's favorites in the area. 5/5 would recommend to anyone who find their way up in Lake City. Service is great - fast and friendly. Ambiance is lively and sport bar vibes.“

I tried the grapefruit seltzer, which is on the light end (very light that I barely tasted anything), and family tried the flight with a few IPAs.Drinks are expensive in Seattle. One beer plus a flight came to be around $35. Would be around maybe $20-22 in Los Angeles. But it’s Seattle haha.“

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting your establishment, and I wanted to take a moment to share my feedback about the experience. First and foremost, I must commend the ambiance of your café and brewery. The cozy atmosphere and welcoming decor created the perfect setting for a relaxing meal or drink with friends. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which provided a picturesque view and added to the overall charm of the place. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the selection of craft beers. “Went last nite for the first time. It felt a little weird being seated. There was a waitress with glasses that skipped the party in front of us to be seated. We asked her if we could sit in a booth further into the dining area and she said no. It felt like she seated us in another person’s section so she could pick the tables she was waiting on. We ended up getting a super nice waitress and she was on it. The food was perfect and the overall experience was great.“

“Food and service at the table were amazing! Get the homemade chips! Would go back again since the food was good, but do want to share why we did not give an overall 5 star rating. We did have an odd experience when getting seated that has left a few questions on our minds. We checked in at the host stand and were told we could go sit in the bar. When we sat down at a bar table (many available tables), a server told us we could not sit there and to go check in. We told him we had checked in and he said we couldn’t sit there. Very unwelcoming. We headed back to the host stand. There were also several tables available in the dining area, but the host ushered us to a back room that appeared it could serve as a small banquet room. It was okay, but certainly did not have the vibe of the restaurant (the restaurant vibe and decor is what makes it such a cool place). Had great food! When leaving, we walked through the bar to take in some of amazing memorabilia and took note that by this time, all the restaurant and bar tables had been filled. And also took note that we were a different demographic than many of the other customers. It did cause us to pause and ask ourselves - did we not fit the look they wanted out front or in the bar? Why isn’t the back room reserved only for overflow rather than primary seating?“
