“We got takeout here and this place has great dumplings! We got the potato cheese. They come with hot sauce, vinegar, and sour cream. Definitely get the pickled veggies too. The service was good because the food was ready fast, and the ambiance looks cute, we plan to go for drinks soon.“
“Didn't try any food, but went there with a group of buddies for some drinks. Old school basement pub with some pool tables and tons of seating. Loved the atmosphere and the employees were friendly. If I still lived in Seattle, this is where I'd choose to go for a drink.“
“Love this place. Food n drinks are really good. Staff is the best and very helpful. Staff alone makes it worth coming here. Always great vibes, food, drinks and music. Half off Thursdays are always packed. My go to spot, when I just want to chill with friends n have fun.“
“Flatstick Pub offers bar games, trivia night, and a great beer selection. The drinks are well poured, the games are fun, and it's a nice place for team events. Good ambiance, good selection of drinks and food, and fun mini golf and Duffle board.Flatstick Pub is the perfect venue to host your next event, big or small ?Parking: Secure parking garage attached to the building“
“Loved that they had gluten-free bread and the waitress was knowledgeable on what could be made gluten-free. The chimichurri was spot on and really good.Dietary restrictions: Hollandaise sauce is made gluten-freeThey have gluten-free bread options too.“
“This is the best sourdough pizza ever and the sweet peppers ( think tomato and a pepper made a sweet baby) were fantastic . My husband and I shared the pizza and we also had a leather old fashioned and a Mai tai. Both were excellent . We ended with the s'more pie and a scoop of ice cream . Man those marshmallows are out of this world. Best part of the trip was our server Chris ! Shout out to this amazing guy who made this experience one of the best of our trip to Seattle. Beautiful bar and eatery .“
“A long-time favorite of mine I used to frequent about 10 years ago. Just returned to the neighborhood to check it out and learned that they did have to close during covid but one of the staff members was able to purchase it. The vibes and look have remained largely the same and the food which was always a highlight for me was still tip notch. A great selection of draft beers was always true but now they have added a short list of quality spirits. Do yourself a favor and grab a bite and a brew!“
“If you are passing by, look through the window, and decide to walk in, you'll get exactly what you're looking for. If you decide to keep walking, you won't be missing much. This place is like Moe's Tavern, except with a good beer selection. There's no food, but you can bring some in.Theres some board games to play - classic (chess and go), or party games (say anything, pictionary, etc). Or, you can chat with friends and strangers, or read something. The large front windows make you feel like you're never too far from the street and makes for good people watching.“
“Hadn’t been here in years and was BLOWN away by how good the food was. Nothing special as far as service and it was so loud we couldn’t talk… but the food… OMG! So amazing. Can’t wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: I’m GF and that Miso Salad was divine!“
“Very simple course even for mini golf standards. It's a short 9 hole course, but the course is condensed into a small space making most of the holes feel very similar. The course is cheap at $10, but I would recommend visiting the Flatstick in SLU for a better experience.“
“Wow. Just wow. Never have I had such an amazing tater tot combo as the "ancho tots". Queso, flavorful pulled pork, cilantro, tortilla strips, and tots are a winning combo. So heavy, but great to share as a once in a while treat. The green goddess salad was also an amazing combination of ingredients and flavors. The cocktails are good, although fairly expensive. Nice atmosphere, with outside seating when weather permits. Service was a little slow to get our food out, but worth the short wait.“
“Quintessential Bar and Grill in the Heart of Tangletown. Flip Flop and Crocs kind of place. Don't expect to sip a fancy cocktail while enjoying hors d'overs. This is draft beer at a perfect temperature. Unpretentious food and super friendly service with a few well placed TVs showing local sports. Great place.“
“Lovely place! I would love to come back here in the evening to join in some of their weekly events. They have tons of games, puzzles, and a great area for kids to play while their parents relax and enjoy beer. Hill City is also dog friendly, both inside and on their covered seating area out front.“
“What great find. I happened upon this great spot by chance. Popped in out of curiosity. So glad I did! They have an extensive on tap selection of local and regional brew and wine. What I found surprising was the menu. Both Korean and Japanese fare are offered. I ordered the CA roll (wasn't planning on eating but felt like a snack). Have to say, the best I've ever had! It was delicate in its presentation but offered multi levels of texture and taste. They use a cucumber that is a bit sweet and less watery than what I am accustomed to. Can't wait to return and try something else. Great place for an intimate date. Cozy (there is a fireplace), unpretentious, delicious food, with a hospitable staff. Yum!“
“Lots of rotating options here. Go with a flight and taste a few of the unknowns. There are only two tables on the street level; great for people watching if you snag one! Downstairs has a more private, cozy feel for gatherings or date vibes.“
“We were visiting from out of town and a close friend recommended this place. Paul and Jake were so welcoming and made sure that we had an enjoyable experience. The pizza and drinks were phenomenal. They had a wide selection of craft beers. The ambience speaks for itself, but what really stood up was how friendly everyone there was. I highly recommended. This is a Seattle bar that everyone should come to.“
“There was a small group of us who'd gone in for trivia night. It's a funky little place with a scattering of tables in the front, pool tables towards the back (which are irrelevant for trivia night, of course), and benches on either side of the pool tables. Fortunately, we'd gotten there early enough to secure a nice table that fit all 6 of us comfortably.Reasonable selection of draught beers and a full bar. I got the Jellyfish IPA, which I hadn't had before. It's a local west coast-style IPA that was pretty good. I covered some of my friends' drinks across the evening (we traded off throughout the evening), and when I got the final bill at the end of the night, the bill seemed outrageously low. I felt bad, so I padded the bill with a good tip. FYI, the folks working behind the bar were so nice! They remembered me each time I went up to the counter and addressed me by name. It was a nice touch.Trivia night was so much fun! Our team didn't do exceptionally well, but we're going to have to come back and try again!“
“The food was good, they even had warm German or cold potato salad. The peels were on, I can't eat them. The server was excellent & very accommodating & knowledgeable about how your food is best, ie, getting the sauce on the side so the wings stay crisp. The atmosphere is good, although accessibility is 3 steps to enter.Wheelchair accessibility: 3 steps only, no ramp.“
“We walked in yesterday somewhat accidentally, because even from outside, it looked welcoming and had a good vibe. We had been crawling beer pubs and enjoyed some great beers on tap.Service was wonderful (thanks Jada and Jim). I would have liked to try the food, but we had already picked up takeout somewhere else. Perhaps, we'll go back another time.“
“Sports bar vibe. Pool tables and a couple of pinball machine and I think electric darts too. Bartenders were super fun and the locals that put up with me chatting and teasing (you know who you are Mr Bonjovi Karaoke!) made my day. Chicken wings nailed it and the Dragon style sauce was great, I didn't even touch the side of blue cheese when I scarfed them down. NOTE - They DO NOT have Karaoke! But other fun trivia and open mic night events“
“What a lovely surprise!! We got off the LRT and decided to take a longer route back to our hotel on 2nd Av., The Courtyard Downtown/Pioneer Square. When we turned back onto 2nd Ave, we walked past Collins Pub and took a look at their menu and decided to stop in. So glad we did!!!!!Rebeca was very welcoming AND, checking out the list of draft beers, I discovered Russian River’s Pliny the Elder which we had when we travelled around the USA in 2014-15. We ordered clam and corn chowder -delicious!!! - and with Rebecca’s help, my husband ordered the burger and I had the house salad. We were very pleased with both dishes. The house salad was huge and the burger was the best he’s had in a very long time!! Wish we had found this spot earlier in our stay instead of on the last day!!!! A great neighbourhood pub with a wonderful chef and a delightful and engaging manager. Cheers!!“
“Lots of great local beer and wine on tap. They also sell canned NA beers and flavored waters. The in-house kitchen puts out fresh and delicious foods. The Truffle popcorn you can smell from outside and it will lure you in! I wish there were more vegetarian/vegan options (the cheeses used in the mac and beer cheese dip have animal rennet), but there is usually at least one veg option available. Had an amazing carrot curry soup on special there one evening. After 5PM there's a rotating food truck out front for even more food options.“
“The place and the staff is completely awesome. From the moment you walk in, you already know what to expect the moment you walk in. Specially if you are a of “How I met your mother” tv show. Definitely recommend if you are a local trying to find a to chill.“
“Pretty chill place. Good drink selection and the service is good. Went to a couple birthday gatherings there. The outside area is nice and has plenty of seating. I wish they had more heaters though. Some of the seating area gets a bit chilly. All in all it's worth stopping in. The vibe is very good.“
“Reminds me of a small town, Midwest beer bar -- hasn't changed since the 60s and that's why people like it. Friendly and quick service. Lively, eclectic crowd but not too crowded. Stop by for beer and a band on a Friday night! They also have a good selection of wine.“
“Ended up here on Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend. Overall a great lowkey pizza spot in the middle of the neighborhood. We split a pizza, fries and wings which was a perfect selection. Service was really friendly and would happily recommend this place to anyone.“
“Nice location with a good selection of beer ???. There is space in the back stage where you can have a party with music and dancing. Kids are allowed, they don't provide food. The bartender is super nice . We came accidentally because other breweries didn't allow kids and we had a good time. I would definitely come again.“
“SO AMAZING. It was such a wonderful experience, and I hope whoever manages this place gives Linsey (I hope I am spelling it right) a huge raise. We came in around 10PM and she was so kind, attentive, and personable. All the cocktails were amazing, and I can see from the way she and the other bartender (whose name I didn’t catch unfortunately) were both amazing with service, skill, and professionalism. There was also a sense of friendliness and although the bar was slow when we were there (about 6ish people?), there was still a really lovely atmosphere fostered by the two working in how they engaged with customers and made sure everyone was taken care of. I can’t recommend this place enough. Also I’m so sorry if I got the name wrong, I was busy salivating over the amazing drinks she made.“
“Take food that exceeds all of your expectations and add the perfect hole in the wall atmosphere and you have the Pacific in pub down next to the water and close to everything (I was visiting the Fremont troll on that day which is only a couple of blocks away)... For over a year I had a co-worker telling me that it was the best fish and chips anywhere in the greater Seattle area. That is actually saying a lot, because one, this is Seattle and we are the world capital of fish and chips, and two, he was an Uber driver for many years and would snack just about anywhere... Guaranteed. I will be back in the very, very near future. One of the most unique fish batters absolutely highlighted this amazing fresh fish and there is a reason that they are famous for their fish and chips. I fell in love not only with the seriously cool hole in the wall atmosphere of the plates, but both of the staff personnel that I had talked to were people that I wanted to go and hang out with. Love this place, love the food, love the location, love the atmosphere, love the people. You have got to go ... And on a trivia and- Anthony Bourdain visited this place and absolutely swore by it“
“Mikaila, the bar manager, was fantastic! She was very friendly, knowledgeable about all of the wines and beverage options, and offered very fast service! It’s also awesome to be able to bring in food from the QFC deli and the drink prices can’t be beat!“
“I'd much rather eat at placed on 15th on Capitol Hill than on Broadway. Much nicer places... Hopvine Pub is a favorite of locals. Nothing fancy. They have great outdoor seating on the sidewalk or a patio in the back. You order at the counter, but a nice local rotating beer selection. Pizzas and sandwiches are really good. Nice and casual with good service. Love it!“
“friendly bartender. good amount of beers! good whiskeys, perfect place to catch a monday night or thursday football game (assuming it’s quite packed if it’s a seattle team playing) but great spot for an out of towner passing through. just divey/ sporty enough with nice locals. awesome exterior as well….“
“This is not your ordinary pub. Beautiful tall ceilings, huge windows, and excellent cuisine. The "Bourrata" for $15 is what I consider to be a perfectly balanced dish - complementary flavors and textures in a pleasing presentation. The very fresh and gooey bourrata is drizzled with EVOO with flavorful basil, while the generous serving of prosciutto is thinly sliced and boldly flavored, with the crostini adding a perfect crunch. Everything in just the right proportion. Also had the Spanish shrimp, which had just the right amount of heat in the rich buttery sauce with chili flakes and paprika.“
“Tapster is a great place to try different local beers, hang out with friends and a good option for events. You give them your card, get a tap card you use to fill your own drinks (mostly beer, some wine). Bear in mind that prices vary greatly, from less than 20 cents per ounce for Rainer up to $2 per ounce if you'd like to try some fancy rare beer, whether local or international. I'd recommend both. Another good thing to know is that you can bring your own food.“
“Christina, Puna, and Ozzy are some of the best bartenders anyone could ask for. I'm greeted every visit with the utmost friendlyness and 10/10 customer service. Decorations are consistent and the environment is impeccable, good drinks, good food, and a ton of fun!Flat sticks is locally supported by Impeccable local attire by Broken Creation Studios in Monroe!I would absolutely recommend flat sticks pub to anyone who's looking for a laid back crowd with good music, decent prices, fantastic bartenders, and an ever-changing drink menu!Parking: Fantastic parking selection from a huge lot!“
“Walked past one Sunday and saw that they were polishing their wooden floors.(they were immaculate) I head back on a day when they were open and they were playing TV Girl, Alvvays, Tame Impala?!Food was great, beer was excellent and some great tunes were playing.Making my way back right now.“
“I've been coming to Fiddler's since before I'd even moved to Seattle, nearly 20 years ago. In fact, it was one of the criteria that I used to pick the house I ultimately purchased (that my abode would have a pub within walking distance). It's a funky place, having been in constant use as a pub since 1934. The acoustics are terrible when there are a lot of folks in the pub or a band playing. And the clients varies from the crusty old-timers who've been coming in for decades opposite the millennial crowd who've moved in locally and have adopted it as their neighborhood pub. Still, I love the place, and although it's not as frequent a haunt for me as it once was, I still enjoy the occasional visit. This afternoon, my girlfriend and I met my parents for a some brews and food. There is no longer table service; clients need to go to the counter to order beer and food. We ordered a round of beers--they have 10 rotating taps, often with beer from the PNW--and food. Since it was mid-afternoon and we were already reasonably full from lunch, my girlfriend and I opted for the Firehouse nachos for the table (the Firehouse nachos have been on the menu at Fiddlers as long as I can remember). They were yummy, as always, and a great complement to our beers. My dad ordered the SCBLT (Smoked Chicken BLT), one of his favorites, and my mom the Big Papa Baked Potato, which she almost always orders. We all really enjoyed the food. There was a miscommunication with our order, and the server brought the meal of the day, the Beef Stroganoff Baked Potato, instead of the Big Papa as my mom had wanted. My mom really didn't want the special. The waiter was accommodating and made sure my mom had the correct order. All interchanges were pleasant, as has always been the case at the Fiddler. Hoping to continue being a regular patron at Fiddler's for the next 20 years!“
“Coziest neighborhood breakfast/brunch spot. One of those snug spots built into an old house with mismatched coffee cups and famous potatoes that makes you feel at home. -1 star only because aside from their potatoes, a lot of their food isn't well seasoned so always have to ask for salt and hot sauce to be safe, but their drinks are stellar and they have NA options too!! Note: I prefer 4 star spots in general bc 5 star spots are typically overrated, so this is a 5 star in that sense!!!! Their menu isn't overwhelming and has seasonal items. Always happy to come back.“
“I'm giving the food a 3 because when we got there the kitchen was closed...for new years...I guess I understand but it's also new years, could've made more money had it been open not to mention the 10 dollar entry fee to try and use the overcrowded overlook they have of the city . The drinks though, that's where they shine. My girlfriend had the dark and stormy drink (she very rarely drinks) and she absolutely loved it! I had the rosemary gin and tonic and although it's a simple drink it was absolutely the best I've had in a while. Will be going back when I'm in town and definitely putting rosemary in my drinks from now on?“
“This is a dimmly lighted dark wood lined, stuff glued to the ceiling classic pub. The menu consists of scotch and whiskey and a few mixed drinks. It rarely changes and everyone comes back. If you just want a quiet place to relax, have a scotch, and admire the collection of oddities you can't go wrong here.“
“This is possibly the best restaurant that I have been to in Seattle Eastside. If you are doing a corporate party, think no further. This place is excellent. Food is great. Ambience is perfect. and Games are awesome. You can build some great team party memories here. Foozball, Pinball, Darts, Pool table - Everything was great! Loved this place. We're going to have every single party at this place now. The only issue was they don't have many vegetarian options. 5 stars from me. It was perfect.Vegetarian options: They have limited vegetarian options - caesar salad, jalapeno poppers and grilled cheese sandwich.“
“It has been years since I was last here because I moved out of the area. It was a Monday night and so it was surprisingly quiet with a lot of open tables. We were greeted and welcomed just after we self seated by a server delivering an order to another large table. Shortly afterwards the barkeeper came across and after handling out questions about what was on tap and took our orders. We didn't order food because we'd eaten elsewhere but their pies are excellent! We had a pleasant evening chatting and they didn't pressure us to order more than one drink each. I'm really happy to report that this pub remains a favorite!“
“Great dining experience. Service was not super fast but was on par with “European Style”, they don’t rush you and want you to enjoy your food. The servers were friendly and helpful. Beer selection is solid, including a nice selection of drafts. Had the Jägerschnitzel and the Käsespätzle with the mushroom gravy. Both dishes were very good and for a German restaurant in the US, I’d place them pretty highly. They’re changing up their weekend dining to accommodate a brunch, if you show up between 1pm and 3pm, there is no real food available, only French fries or pretzels, as the kitchen is changing over. I lived in Germany for four years, I consider this a good find and will be coming back.“
“For a dive bar on Auroara, we were shocked! This place has the best fish and chip we have ordered in Seattle. We came from out of town, and this place's food is just unbelievable! The chips were fantastic. I, literally, did not want to stop eating them. I, seriously, recommend this place!!!!!!! And the bartender was amazing!!!!“
“Living in the area, I've passed by this bar countless times but never had the opportunity to visit until St. Patty's Day. I finally decided to give it a try, and it was a blast! They featured live music, tap, and sean nós dancing, along with outdoor seating arrangements. Despite the busy day, the service was exceptional and attentive. A fantastic neighborhood bar indeed!“
“Grrrrrreat atmosphere! Karaoke, trivia, bingo, on weekdays food until 1 am.Always great service, music ,pool playing, sports On screen t v's 360° of viewing, dedicated fridge full of various jello shots, and just about every kind of liquor under the sun! I do wish they had coverage on their outdoor seating area, however, especially if it's raining. Dogs are allowed is a major plus! Perfect neighborhood bar! ?? ??✌️? ???????? ?Vegetarian options: Any burger they have on their list can go with a veggie patty!? ???????????Wheelchair accessibility: Ezee peezee...“
“If you're looking for a local bar, this is about as good as it gets. Neighborhoodies hang out here and there's a lot of history to be learned from the regulars that hang out at this bar. Has a great jukebox, pool table and stiff drinks.“
“The owner was super cool , almost too cool. He welcomed my party & checked on us a few times . Anyways … get the Spicy Hawaiian, honey siracha chicken wings & big time burger . Next time I visit Seattle … I’m going back ! Thanks Rick !! Told ya I’d actually leave a review . Cheers mate !! HD2!!“
“I love Watershed! I brough my friend here when she was in town and loved the pizza! I came here before seeing Barbie and they had an amazing Barbie themed drink menu. I love beer, they always have great beers and do events with specialty ones as well. Great locally owned spot.Parking: Free parking in the huge garage under the building. Entrance next to the restaurant .“
“This place is fantastic. Great relaxing vibe. The Goose is a completely unique location for Bellevue and it’s open late which is difficult to come by in these parts. Andrew, the main chef, makes everything on the menu taste delicious, even the salads. He also keeps his work station tidy, which is very important to me as a former line cook. The two other bartenders I see here often, Daniella and Amanda, make you feel right at home here. Their service and attention is unmatched. I’ve been a patron of this place for over a year now and have yet to have a bad time here. I hope to keep making great memories here with the staff and the local regulars. Lisa is also one of the other great servers of this fine establishment“
