Horrible customer service. Barista is rude and antagonistic. Obviously hates his job.Edit: Given the response I'll clarify that he called me autistic, told me I had no social skills, and made fun of me because I didn't make eye contact when I ordered. Because I was still looking deciding what I wanted when he asked.

We went there for breakfast and coffee. First of all, the food and coffee were ok, but there were no food menu except for breakfast sandwiche. I asked the server what are the other food choices, and he told us they have avocado toast and ham sandwiche, which was what we ordered. So I paid, but I didn't pat attention to the total amount, and I didn't get a receipt. Then when I got my credit card charge notification and saw $40+ total for 2 coffee and 2 small sandwiches, I went to ask the server how much were the sandwiches. I was just asking the question because I had finished up the eating already. The server's attitude was super rude and said I was complaining, but in fact I wasn't because I knew it was my fault not checking the prices. The server was super rude and blame me for not taking the receipt, he also rudely told me to take the finished plates and glasses back to him even though we dumped all the garbage and put them away. While we were eating there, there's was another customer had an argument with the server and we didn't know what happened, but I guess we know. There are so many great places and coffee shops in Bellevue, no need to go to this place. Absolutely not recommending this place!

Never met such an unpleasant barista/owner. I’m assuming he’s the owner based on reviews similar to my own experience. 0/10 only good for making the people of Bellevue feel good about themselves for “supporting locally owned business”. Spend your money elsewhere, this man doesn’t deserve it for his underwhelming food/drink and even worse service.

The owner is a mean and judgmental person who should take some time to work on kindness. Plenty of other coffee shops in Seattle to support that promote inclusivity and empathy.

Terrible service the barista clearly hates his job and people. After looking him up he’s also the owner and apparently this is on brand for him. You should avoid this place at all cost and google him for further laughs and shock. The place had no food as portrayed in the website and looks like it’s going out of business - which wouldn’t be terrible. Best of the luck if they think that’s how they should treat customers when you’re in the business of providing a service.

I saw a post on Instagram of a 100 year old Jewish holocaust survivor and saw the usual hateful comments. To my suprise I see the owner of this business also adding hate in the comments with no shame. Staying he wishes "they finished the job" reading some of the other reviews hardly a suprise.

Stopped at this place out of convenience as it was the closest coffee shop near an appt that I had. This is probably the dirtiest coffee shop Ive ever seen. It is not being kept up and as soon as I ordered my drink I regretted as I don’t think this place would pass a food and safety inspection in the state it was in today. The owner is also very rude and doesn't appear to be happy to have customers. Don't waste your time going here.

Cool coffee cups. Can’t recommend latte though. Two people trying to conduct a video call, nobody else is in the room. It looked like the music volume was intentionally cranked up to end the shift.No pastries were available.

The owner of this business is enough reason to avoid. He is extremely rude and makes me feel as if he hates women with comments I’ve seen him make on social media. I would never support a business with an owner as hateful as he.

Owner is extremely rude and lacks empathy. While this did not take place in his establishment his victim blaming when I had shared on Nextdoor that my dog was hit by a car in a parking lot no where near his cafe he was extremely rude and continues to prove his character. My post was asking if anyone had information on the person who hit my dog and drove away or possibly captured the incident on camera. Shawn decided to make assumptions about what happened, tell me I should go about my day, and that it was my fault. In the past I had marked this place as a cafe I wanted to visit however now after this and reading other reviews I will not be supporting a business owner who is not respectful.

The food is below average and overpriced, but what makes me go out of way to leave this review is the owner himself. He's rude, entitled and watching how he interacts with customers and speaks down to them assures that I will not be coming back and I hope people reading this heed the other warnings about this man.It is INHERENTLY clear how problematic he is and that he has a pattern of insults, harassment and aggression. There's no need to give his food or this small business a pass for his terrible personality, my suggestion to go anywhere else but here.

Owner was extremely rude. When we walked in, he gave us a dirty look and right after we ordered, he scolded us saying that it was extremely rude to bring in food and drink from other restaurants. I feel disrespected and cheated by the owner because he waited until after we ordered to tell us his cafe policy (that wasn’t posted anywhere). We had just come from another cafe that my boyfriend wanted to go to and these were our leftovers.I will never be back and strongly discourage others from visiting this establishment.
