“This place is a dive bar located in an unassuming strip mall. I went there with four family members on our way to the Mariner game (we lost). We stopped here because we thought every other place would be full due to World Cup watching parties. We didn't expect much but were knocked out by the quality of the food. Pizza, burgers, French dip...it was all fabulous. And the waitress was a saint. A real hidden gem for sure.“

You just ate the freshest pasta with height of the season specialized ingredients. You know, like they do in Italy, and it's worth every penny. Have you ever had a walnut pesto with sauteed fiddlehead ferns, leeks, and aleppo pepper flakes? I can't say enough good things about how amazing it was and you get to watch the very cool, friendly crew make everything in the open kitchen. “We love Angelo's! Tom and Lisa the owners are awesome and we love Olivia she is a sweetheart. The food is off the charts good. They are truly a gem and we are lucky to have them. Everything I have had here is absolutely amazing but it's hard to get away from the pizza because it is so good! We live in Bonney Lake and we happily make the drive as often as we can. That's how good it is! They put all of the other pizza and pasta houses to shame by a long shot!“

We ordered the Grindhouse, a Mortadella, classic Salami, stacked with Dijon mustard, mayo, shredded iceberg, house made dill pickles, provolone, and a bright red wine vinaigrette, all on a perfectly chewy demi baguette. Every bite was balanced and delicious in a cute space. Downside for older guests is the unmanned Kiosk to order. No opportunity to ask about the sandwiches and then after ordering yourself the kiosk asks for a tip! And parking, however, was nearly impossible. We ended up in a garage that cost more than the sandwich itself. Still, the food was excellent — just go when you have patience (or a chauffeur).“

The servers are very well educated and even remember special notes about you. My server was Carly and I absolutely adored her. She was so sweet and checked in on me each step of the tasting menu. Even when I was a tad bit overwhelmed by selection choices, she walked me through everything and recommended a few items.

The food melts into your mouth. I had some of the best scallops I have ever tried and I got to try quite a few new things that I didn't know I would enjoy, like caviar.
