Ordered take out from here recently, and food was just ok. The quantity is not great either. Typically me and my roommate can easily eat in one order of paneer from a.y Indian restaurant. but this was only enough for 1 person. Not a fan of this place

The food is absolutely incredible. We had the smoked lentil dahl fry and the flavor was unique and intense. The dosas are light and crispy and come with great dipping sauces. We like a lot of spice, and they use the perfect amount.The service is friendly and efficient. The restaurant is clean. It was a slightly busy Saturday night with lots of takeout orders, including one very large order, but they still paid close attention to us. I can’t wait to go back again. This place is just wonderful!

I don't know how much of my experience at Tamarindos is contextual, but I had a truly transcendent masala dosa and chai today. I have not eaten inside of a restaurant since February 2020 (it's now October 2021). Today I had a long gap between home visits of clients and instead of picking up a sad sandwich at Safeway, I decided to treat myself to a carry out. Tamarindos was completely empty, so I steeled myself and asked for a table. (Only one table of two came in after me, but they sat pretty far away. There was a steady stream of carry out orders though). The decor is absolutely minimal, I would say even cold and kind of sad, so I didn't know what to expect. The server seemed super busy with carry out stuff so I didn't get silverware or a napkin. My chai was served in a paper cup, which was kind of a surprise. Eventually the server/owner offered me a bottle of water which I declined, and did bring me silverware and napkins, but no matter. Because -- then I tasted the chai - and it was absolutely delicious. Clearly cooked fresh, not from a box, not sweetened, very spicy, was my first sign this was going to be a good meal. The dosa was perfect. Crispy and soft at the same time, with a wonderful dipping sauce and side serving of soup, the dosa was full of the customary fried potatoes with crunchy surprise fried lentils. I enjoyed it so much. I'm still full 7 hours later - and I even had leftovers for my husband. Highly recommend.

Recently moved to Bellevue from New Jersey… This is the nearest Indian restaurant on google map from my place… went there for take away- chicken biryani…Good part… order was ready by the time I arrived there…Bad part…1. They did not know if I placed any order…3. Biryani was awful… rice looked and taste like boiled rice…I know you wanna know the second one (no.2) but I cannot mention that here.

The delivery at restaurant is pretty slow. It can take up to half an hour even when the restaurant is not busy. Had to wait another 15 minutes at the restaurant even after placing the order 20 minutes before.

They have one of three best Indian food and is quite reasonable. Plus service is great. Once we ordered take out in morning and they upgraded us with biriyani as side dish of paneer and Malai kofta. Their curries are really good and you can ask them to make it mild or hot as per your choice. Malai Kofta curry was really good but koftas can be improved. Would love to try their dosas and definitely recommend the place for authentic Indian food. Will definitely go there again.

I came in 20 minutes before closing. They guy who was going to take my order was told by a lazy a** cook that they were already closed. Even though the Open sign was still on. I have tried on other occasions to order by calling in and no one even answers the phone. Terrible service, won't try again...

I ordered briyanis from this place and not happy with the taste. They were just some heavily colored rice with lot of chilli in it. Plus I orderd veg viryani and got a small piece of meat in my food- this is totally unacceptable.

I am very surprised this place's food has been impressing me after pandemic. I have tried this once in past in 2018 but the quality of food back then and now is incomparable. I order two times straight in a month and the food has been super tasty and quality has been consistent. Must try items 1 - Mutton Masala curry. 5/5 2- Dhaba Style Dal tadka. 5/5 3-Hyderabadi Chicken Curry.4/5 Will upload pictures soon.

I had a horrible experience last evening trying out Tamarindos food first time. I ordered Chicken 65 family pack biryani and Apollo fish. The biryani looked very red in color and tasted bad. Don’t know if they have used color - it looked very scary and I could not serve to my kids. The Apollo fish is the same as the chilli fish in the photos. The salt was not balanced and it was very bland and no taste at all. Please be careful about trying out this restaurant.

My friends and I ate here a couple of days ago. I normally do not like Indian food but the food was excellent. The prices were very good with hearty portions. The staff was friendly. The only complaint I have is that they did not have air on and the restaurant was hot, but there was a fan turned on which helped.

Ate here after a long day of hiking. Intended to eat elsewhere but didn’t want to wait. The butter and garlic naan were very good and so were the Hakka Noodles and Chicken Tikka Masala. The service was great and the staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. This is some of the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten and I came here by mistake! Would absolutely eat here again when I return to the area.
