Topgolf is a growing chain of virtual or real golf establishments known for their driving range technology. You go there and hit golf balls with the system tracking where you hit them, which can be in different forms of games and friendly competition as well. First time at Top Golf. I've heard a lot of good things about it. So here goes. The good. The environment was cool. Very private and fun. The Korean BBQ were awesome. Fremont IPAs were good. Now the "bad"... the virtual top golf experience. The floor had bumps due to attaching platforms together, so when you're putting it made it difficult to putt properly. I made a reservation for 10:00pm for topgolf. They called ahead of time saying they needed to clean the suit and that my reservation was moved to 10:45. They said they would comp 30 extra minutes due to the inconvenience.We were asked if we wanted 30 extra minutes when our hour reservation was over, I said yes (since I was told it would be free).
