Fruit Wine Co Wineries • $$
1950 130th Ave NE Suite 1, Bellevue

“I've been to just about every independent wine shop in seattle, and this is by far the best, with some strong contenders for second place. Pricing, selection, and service are off the charts, with extremely passionate people, absolutely stellar bottles from around the world, and everything ranging between "a steal" and "perfectly fair" with pricing. This is a very small thing, but I love that they print the prices on the sides of the bottles rather than on the front with those tiny stupid stickers that leave residue. Fantastic events and other goodies for sale also. Even if you're far from Bellevue, it's worth taking a couple hundred and making the drive here to stock up on gems.“

“A beautiful space full of treasures for everyone. From home goods to gifts, the store is wonderfully creative and well set up for awe and inspiration. We ventured in while awaiting our Uber, and were so happy to have found Hedge & Vine. Our circumambulation of the store gave us so much to gawk at and admire. The two women working were friendly and wished us a good afternoon just as we left the store.“

Brian Carter Cellars Wine Bar • $$
17140 135th Ave NE STE 1030, Woodinville - 9.96 miles

“I am so happy I decided to come here, and even happier that I came hungry! The winery is beautiful, modern with lots of wood and red accents. It has a really good vibe and absolutely stunning design and art. The atmosphere is so lovely. The wines are top notch. I love their super Tuscan, and they have whites that even red drinkers would love. No wonder they were voted the top winery in Washington! I went for a tasting but ended up coming home with bottles. The manager, Joel, and the wine club manager, Annika, are absolutely amazing. They did a great job talking about the wines, but also making me feel like I was part of the Brian Carter family. Top tier service! Something I did not expect is that they have some of the best food I've had on the Eastside. Their chef belongs in a Michelin restaurant, but his food pairs so perfectly with the wines that I'm glad he ended up here! I got the fried polenta and broccolini and both were so flavorful and had the perfect texture. Definitely don't overlook their food, especially for happy hour! This is definitely one of my favorite spots in Woodinville!“

J. Bookwalter Tasting Studio Woodinville Winery • $$
14810 NE 145th St Bldg. B, Woodinville - 8.99 miles

“J Brookwalter stood out for my little wine tasting friends for a few reasons. While the ambiance is fairly basic and nothing of great note the service and the wine was delightful. I very much appreciated that we had options here. I opted for the Readers Tasting while my friends tried the Luxury Tasting. They very much enjoyed their wines trading tasting notes and discussing flavors. The staff here was very engaging. They told us the history, the grapes, the vineyard. They told us stories and asked us where we had gone. It was a very welcoming environment which I thoroughly enjoyed.“

Sleight of Hand Cellars SODO Winery • $$
3861 1st Ave S G, Seattle - 6.85 miles

“My friends and I met up to taste here and had a lovely time. Having tasted in their Walla Walla tasting room last spring, I was familiar with the wines and so I made a point to visit the Seattle location. Bethany and Daniel took great care of us while we were there. Bethany presented the wines with perfect pacing, confidence, and overall gracious hospitality. Plus, my friends loved the wines, as did I! I'm usually not a big fan of rosé, but I loooove SOHC 2022 The Magician's Assistant! In fact, all their wines are fantastic. I'll certainly be back!“

“Melody Lynne Vineyard's wine bar emerges as a sanctuary for both the wine novice and the aficionado. The interior, with its cozy nooks and soft lighting, sets the perfect stage for what can only be described as an enlightening wine journey. Each table seems to tell its own story, surrounded by walls adorned with tasteful art that speaks to the vineyard’s rich heritage and passion for the craft of winemaking.Central to the Melody Lynne experience is Nina, a wine associate whose knowledge of wine is matched only by her Italian heritage and enthusiasm to share it. Her recommendations are thoughtful and tailored, aiming to elevate your understanding and appreciation of wine with each visit. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Syrah. Under Nina's guidance, my date and I was led to this particular choice, and it did not disappoint. The Syrah was a revelation—a perfect balance of bold flavors and subtle nuances, with notes of dark fruit, pepper, and a hint of smokiness that lingered delightfully on the palate. It was a testament to the vineyard's skill in crafting wines that can captivate and surprise. But the experience didn’t stop at the Syrah. Nina introduced a selection of other wines, each with its own character and story. From a crisp and refreshing white that evoked sunny afternoons in the vineyard, to some bubbly that unfolded with every sip. What sets Melody Lynne apart is not just the quality of the wine but the passion and knowledge that Nina brings to the experience. She ensures that every guest leaves not just satisfied, but enlightened, with a deeper appreciation for the art of winemaking. In conclusion, Melody Lynne is more than a wine bar—it's an educational journey, a warm gathering place, and a testament to the vineyard's dedication to excellence. Whether you're a seasoned wine lover or new to the world of wine, a visit to Melody Lynne, guided by the expertise of Nina, is an experience you won't soon forget.“

Brian Carter Tasting Room and Bistro Bistros •
17140 135th Ave NE, Woodinville - 9.96 miles

“I went to the new tasting room at Brian, Carter and was very impressed with the whole experience. The tasting room was beautifully, and the wine and food pairings blew me away. Brian Carter does an amazing job creating delicious wines inspired by from around the world. He has been making wine since the 1970s, and draws many of his inspirations from Old World blends. The tasting room's newest chef, Nicholas Ames, has created the most delicious dishes that are beautifully plated. The Chanterelle-Oyster Mushroom Toast is delicious and pairs perfectly with the Roussanne. The Charred Broccolini might be my favorite item on the menu, with its toasted shallots and white balsamic emulsion - YUM. The 2020 Byzance was my favorite wine - it was smooth and complex, will only get better with age, and is perfect with the Red Wine Risotto, which is so flavorful and yummy - my husband loved it too. Also be sure to save room for dessert. The Opulente port is phenomenal, made even better by the chocolate mousse. I would highly recommend Brian Carter to any winos who love good food, foodies who love good wine, and anyone else looking for a great date night!“

Darby Winery Wineries • $$
14450 Redmond - Woodinville Rd NE, Woodinville - 8.88 miles

“Moved a few doors down. (Don’t waste a tasting like I did at Village Wines, which was good but not what I was looking for.)Some Darby wines have a funkiness that detracts from the overall experience. But it’s a very fun group of staff and overall the wines are good. I found a couple to take home with me.“

425 Cellars Bar • $$
14525 148th Ave NE #112, Woodinville - 8.96 miles

“Veteran owned, great wines, walkable from anywhere in the Hollywood Schoolhouse area... what's not to love? The wine's tend to be a little on the lighter side, so if you're tired of the big tannic fruit bomb cab sauvs, give 425 a try.“

Structure Cellars Winery •
3861 1st Ave S, Seattle - 6.89 miles

“A while back, I visited a tasting room but didn't find it particularly remarkable, so I never went back. However, tonight I attended an event hosted by a law firm at the same place. To my surprise, I was truly impressed by their Syrah wine. It had a distinctive and uncommon flavor profile, being both peppery and bold, unlike the regular Syrah wines I've tried before. The selection of wines they showcased tonight left a strong impression on me. Given that I live nearby, I have decided to give them another chance and revisit their tasting room. If you happen to be in Urbanwork, I recommend checking them out as well.“

Lachini Tasting Room ~ Woodinville, WA Winery • $$
14455 Redmond - Woodinville Rd NE Suite A, Woodinville - 8.83 miles

“I've been a wine club member at Lachini Vineyards in Woodinville for some time now, and I have to say, it's always a pleasure visiting. The staff here are consistently friendly and knowledgeable, making each trip both enjoyable and fun.One of the things I appreciate most is the genuine warmth of the team. They're always friendly and you can tell they really enjoy what they do. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a leisurely afternoon of wine tasting. The wines themselves are definitely worth mentioning. Whether you prefer reds, whites, or something in between, there's a good chance you'll find something that suits your palate. I've discovered quite a few favorites over my visits (including many pinot noirs, to which I am usually not a fan), and the quality is always top-notch.The winery's cozy setting and friendly faces make it a place I look forward to visiting again and again. It's a great spot to unwind and enjoy some delicious wine. Highly recommend giving it a visit!“

Obelisco Estate Winery • $$$
14525 148th Ave NE, Woodinville - 8.97 miles

“Only tasting room that we have remained members of in this area. We had several other memberships at other tasting rooms, that over the years the wine has declined. We dropped all of them except Obelisco. Consistent quality in wines, cab forward which we love, almost all Reds, right up my alley. The tasting room stays open later than most in this area too, the attendants are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. We love their wines and chilling at their tasting room patio on a warm sunny day.“
