Sleight of Hand Cellars SODO Winery • $$
3861 1st Ave S G, Seattle

“Great wine without an ounce of pretention. SoH not only knows their stuff, sourcing from multiple vineyards and their own estate, for unique terroir, but they serve it in and with a rock attitude. Pull up a chair like it's your own living room, pick a vinyl, chat with friends and staff, and work your way through a flight.“

Darby Winery Tasting Room Winery •

“Absolutely loved this place. Staff is exceptional and the wines are interesting and wonderful. Some of the wines I LOVED while other weren't my taste, but I appreciated each one's character and the tasting room staff knew a ton about them. I work in the bev industry and I really appreciated everything about this tasting experience! Cozy and cute — wine country tasting room vibes in the heart of the Junction. So happy I stopped in, I'm about to become a regular.“

Viscon Cellars Winery • $
5910 California Ave SW B, Seattle

“A surprisingly high ABV on their blends- be warned to sip! You may be able to tell I’m not a super wine snob. It has a very welcoming neighborhood feel, thoughtful interior that shows a lot of character in a time when most new businesses all look the same. I’m for sure coming back!“

Welcome Road Winery Winery • $$
3804 California Ave SW, Seattle

“This place is fun! Right now they are taking hour-long reservations on their patio and there's plenty of heaters to go around and tables are nicely spaced apart. The wine we tasted was mostly red blends, all were very good. Very reasonably priced, and the staffer did a great job explaining the wines and making it a fun experience. We even joined the wine club - which we never do after only one time at a winery. And it's a big plus that it's one of the only wineries on West Seattle Island. We used to be regulars at a few wineries in Georgetown/SoDo - that's hard now.“

Structure Cellars Winery •
3861 1st Ave S, Seattle

“A while back, I visited a tasting room but didn't find it particularly remarkable, so I never went back. However, tonight I attended an event hosted by a law firm at the same place. To my surprise, I was truly impressed by their Syrah wine. It had a distinctive and uncommon flavor profile, being both peppery and bold, unlike the regular Syrah wines I've tried before. The selection of wines they showcased tonight left a strong impression on me. Given that I live nearby, I have decided to give them another chance and revisit their tasting room. If you happen to be in Urbanwork, I recommend checking them out as well.“
